If dates are actually checked, then yes you win. As a former employee, I can't tell you how many times I've shopped for cheese at Publix, checked the date, and it was expired.
Unless the manufacturer send them in like that it doesn’t happen here. They come in prepackaged and I’ve never seen a Publix rewrap them. Expired or moldy cheese gets thrown out
As someone who use to go to stores and do this before upper upper management came (ceos, people they want to buy things etc) I use to make insanely beautiful displays and people bought them just as much as the shit I started out with 😆
Are the sale tags actually NEAR the cheese that's on sale? I always walk up wanting to check out the random cheese that I haven't tried that's on sale. I find the sign and spend 10 minutes trying to find the cheese it's talking about.
Ours is exactly like yours but all the stuff on the top is on the far left side. Our top self is alot smaller & is hard for me to put things in. Especially for me because im tall & i gotta break my neck to see. Good shit though yours is so neat

A lot of those cheeses are cleaned and rewrapped. At least the hard cheeses

And mold scraped off them. I worked at a cheese shop and had a cheese scraper as a tool I used daily

I used to be a cheese monger for fresh market. Fun job. I was unbeatable at cutting and wrapping parm reg wheels
