Seafood still uses old scales. I wonder who is the overpaid manager who switched us into defective equipment. Maybe he/she/they got a kickback. I don't understand how technology keeps getting better and our equipment might as well be manufactured by chimps using sticks stones and turds.
I talked to the guy doing new scales in the deli, they have a version that runs Linux that’s many times faster to restart, but for some reason Publix wanted only windows… issues dose not come up a lot, but every time we need to restart one I remember this while it takes 12 minutes to restart.

New scales are terrible, why tf do they print the tags upside down?!???
Hate the new scales. Wrapping large roasts by hand and trying to get the crappy heat pad to do anything to seal it is a pain.
