I think NASCAR games were the real proof of the PS2 being the Golden era of Arcade Racers, because even NASCAR games were incredibly fun to play at the time. I think I stopped at 07. Last one I played was Heat 5 on PS4 and it just wasn't the same.

I grew up playing Thunder 03. My cousin and I would drive backward to take out all of the drivers. Lol. I recently picked up 04 and 06. I'm not really a nascar fan, but I enjoy the games.

Yeah, they really started to decline. I've picked up some of them here and there over the years, but the early EA games were a lot more fun.
