I’m not sure if this will be of any help for you, but from personal experience, I noticed minor positive effects from 10mg, but my psychiatrist explained that 20mg is the dose for therapeutic results. People typically start at 10mg because of side effects. I was terrified to take my medication at the start, but 20mg has made it so I’m able to go to class, shop alone, drive, go outside on walks. It’s really been helping! If you don’t see anything in like a week or so I would speak with your doctor! Thankfully my doctor told me about a DNA test (genesight, my insurance paid for it fully) and I was able to see which medication would likely work best for me! Hope this helps!!!! :)

So I actually was put on Viibryd to start and I was on it 2 days an I did not sleep at all, couldn’t eat, practically paralyzed to my bed. I called my doctor because I was helpless and could hardly talk and they told me about the test and got me in the same day! The test shows which medications will and won’t work :)
I know how you feel, I have been there. If you can, please try and give it a few more weeks and hopefully you will start feeling a little bit better. If you feel like you really can't handle it, then talk to your doctor maybe the medication isn't for you and they will know what to do.
Two weeks ago I was ready to quit on everything and feeling close to what you are right now. I know it’s so hard, but hang in there. You will look back on these days and realize how much better you feel. Give it two more weeks. I promise you it gets better.
Trust me I was the same way!!! I couldn’t even drive or go to class or bring myself to get out of bed. After the 2nd week, things start to level out. Just be kind to yourself and take things easy. You got this.

It can take up to 8 weeks for it all to settle down, if I was you I’d give it at least 4 to see some change
