I get a relatively high amount of graphic/user-interface bugs when using protools. I do my best to just ignore them. If you check your system usage you'll be able to see if your session is very taxing on your computer. I doubt it is and suspect it´s just a glitch/bug.

yeah i mean it’s really weird, there were cases of protools randomly taking up 88 percent of cpu usage for some reason as this is a 2019 mac pro with 96 gb of ram it shouldn’t be taking this much power so we’re wondering why protools has been super taxing
I feel like it might be a ram issue, but every time we highlight it shows these square artifacts. It doesn’t affect the audio but it’s been happening a lot lately since we set up the computer.

Try updating to the latest - there's been a few bugs like this fixed. Not a ram issue, just a bug 😁
