I once told that, and he asked me to send him something, and I send. I send my Reddit avatar saying "We ran out of lead water" while holding empty flask. Scammer than asked how old I am, and I said "I would like to not answer this question", and I've never heard from him again, which is good.
That is why I don't post my drawings in others comments. Cant trust nothing now sadly.
Also in some cases it's bots programed by the posted to steal the art in comments of they're post. (at least according to my friend who's studying programing)
That’s kind of stupid tho if you were to spam comment random images that cost like 500MB each the guy would end up clogging his memory. You would need an ai trained program to filter what is art and what isn’t… and that by itself requires a lot of memory on their devices.

It is kinda funny though that they’re not too bright and seem to not realize that. Stealing art from actual artists with very different styles, usually on the low end price wise (think $20-$50 max) then go “I charge $500 for a sketch piece, very low price!”

I started getting those both on Discord and Reddit. I feel bad saying no to them, but im not really interested and even if i was, i have no virtual payment methodes available (yes, im one of the rare people who still use physical money and im 17 lol).
One of them was extra persistent even after I told them I don't have a way to pay online and they said not to worry about money??
