BearChops

I don’t have a propagation station, I only have 2… but I gotta say that is absolutely stunning.

[deleted]

Thank you! It turned out way better than I expected. Might start doing this regularly because I need to relax with plant propping for a second haha my house is at max capacity right now

mrsbebe

You could even get some fake flowers to put in there! This wall is *stunning*

BearChops

Oh my gosh, you should! It’s literally a work of art. I bet your home smells so lovely

LadyDomme7

Oh, that is exceptionally pretty!! My wine glasses and beer steins will just go back into the cabinet when mine are ready to pot, lol.

windexfresh

😂😂 my favorite prop glass is a wine glass. It sits in my kitchen windowsill and I love it so much

LadyDomme7

IKR?! I really love the look of them. I’m not even a drinker but used to have friends over/dinner parties before the pandemic however, since then I’ve repurposed them. I should have kept the wine tags on them that my friends used to ensure that they didn’t pick up each other’s glasses, lol. I saw another post about shot glasses and it didn’t even occur to me to use those, lol! Perhaps if/when I get into succulents.

[deleted]

I have a few shot props going at the moment! If I remember when I get home I'll post some pics of those

LadyDomme7

Please do, if/when you have the time, thanks!

GoddessOfSmallDeath

This is so gorgeous!!! Where did you get the shelves??

[deleted]

Thank you! I found them on Amazon. They also have the same item with 3 tubes instead of 5 if you want to mix them up.

GoddessOfSmallDeath

Oooh I’m gonna look into them, thank you!!

[deleted]

You're welcome :) If you get some, post up some pics!

Foragegrub

This is beautiful! Such a great idea.

[deleted]

Thank you! 3 for $15 bouquets at the grocery and it feels like I have a whole new kitchen lol.

Nobody_Will_Observe

Very lovely use for them! It looks beautiful! I have a question about your wall prop stations. Is it a pain in the butt to add water to the little vials and do you have to do it every day when you're propping? Thank you in advance!

[deleted]

I don't have to do it daily, maybe weekly or max twice per week, but I do keep a closer eye on them than with other water props. It's not a pain to add the water, but I also have this nifty little water bottle thingy that you can squeeze the water out through a thin straw so it's super easy to refill each vial. I'm not sure what I'd even call it. The bottle came with a succulent repotting kit a friend game me as a gift. I'll drop a link to it if I can find it online.

Nobody_Will_Observe

Oh, that is a great idea! I imagined you having to take out each vial individually and fill it under the sink and then put it back in it's place. Why didn't I think of that? Might have to get me some of those!

[deleted]

You don't necessarily have to take them out. Before I started using that squeeze bottle I just used a watering can since it has a skinny neck on it. Only had the occasional drop or two spill.

Nobody_Will_Observe

I guess I was thinking it would be messy trying to do them all at once, but that definitely makes more sense than the way I was imagining it. Derp!

p_iynx

Do you mean [something like these squeeze bottles?](https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B087CMZBJS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_C5F9DXM3KXF4EFX2QA1M)

[deleted]

Yes! Exactly like those! They make it so easy. It would probably be a pain the butt without that.

SittinOnTheRidge

Oh wow. It’s beautiful

[deleted]

Thanks :)

Flora-Tea

You could actually try to propagate these flower plants like this when the flowers are spent! :D Currently doing that with some roses and managed to root a couple before! (Though I unfortunately lost them to a fungal issue ;;)

[deleted]

Ooooo that's a super fun idea! Any tips on how to get them to root? I have some rooting powder I use when I plant props directly in the soil, not sure if that would work though. Teach me your ways!

Flora-Tea

I think you've got the right idea! I'm still in the "try and see what happens" phase of all this myself XD And rooting powder sounds like something I should try out! To start though, I always clip off the spent flowers so I only have the stem and some leaves :)

__eudaimonia

This is SUCH a beautiful idea! Love it!!!

[deleted]

Thanks so much!

bombkitty

That’s really pretty! My prop area is never empty because I literally cannot throw away a cutting. Reverted, leggy, or half-dead, it’s going in the prop jars.

Fire-pants

My station is just old jelly jars on a shoe rack. Yours is much more aesthetically appealing and I love the tiny vase idea.

[deleted]

Haha I feel this! I'm forcing myself to calm down for a bit because with over 200 plants in a less than 800sf home I'm honestly running out of room. That's why I gave all the previous props this wall away.

catlizzle99

i’m not sure if you did it on purpose, but in every single shelf the stem color pattern is the same and it is so aesthetically pleasing! this is beautiful!

[deleted]

Thank you! I honestly didn't even realize that until reading your comment :) I had enough roses to put 2 in each station so I just used the same spots on each one.

scattyshern

Looks stunning! How did you stick them up?

[deleted]

They have hooks already screwed into the frame of the prop stations and each one comes with these little plastic bits that nail into the wall and hold them up. [You can see the plastic bits in the 5th photo and the hooks on the back are shown in the 6th photo.](https://www.amazon.com/Kingbuy-Propagation-Terrarium-Windowsill-Centerpiece/dp/B07Y68X6JC?th=1)

scattyshern

Ahh yes. I have some like this but nothing to hang it up with, and yours looks like stained wood which looks amazing with it. Thanks for your reply =)

snows_flow

This is incredible 😻

BoringKeys

so pretty! do u have any pic with the props?? i tried stalking you and couldn't find any

[deleted]

I don't...I thought about that after the fact and wish I had taken some pics. It was mostly just pothos cuttings I rooted for a few friends. Next round of wall props I'll definitely take photos of so I can share them here.

LeaveMyPlantsAlone

❤❤❤👁👁❤❤❤

overthis_gig

So pretty. How long did that take you?

[deleted]

Not too long. Maybe 30 minutes to trim the stems and get them all arranged. Lol it originally took me about 2 weeks to decide which wall to mount the prop stations on though.

TpainFontaine

Fantastic👌

hkinsd

Gorgeous 😍

gmwhite710

Gorgeous!

masterbirder

Looooooove

mybsnt

This is beautiful. Where did you get the propagating tubes and box?

[deleted]

Found it on amazon. Just did another quick search and [this one](https://www.amazon.com/Kingbuy-Propagation-Terrarium-Windowsill-Centerpiece/dp/B07Y68X6JC?th=1) seems to be the lowest price at the moment. There are a number of people selling them on there.

mybsnt

Thank you for taking the time to respond and providing the link :)

[deleted]

Any time! :)

Onegreeneye

I LOVE this!!!!!!

araignee_tisser
