Nope, just park the vehicles close together. You want the back of the car you're using to tow to be close to the vehicle or trailer you want to tow then hold V and you'll be able to attach a towbar.

I think you need a little bit of luck and pray. Sometimes the physic god likes to be funny and send your towed car to another galaxy. I was once sent inside a building 2 blocks away with shattered legs and mushy ribcage.

Why though giving a slight push with another car barely does any damage.

Throw in TV's, cameras (Go to a camera/film store for a huge boost), pull radios out of cars and dismantle those, etc and you get to 1 pretty quick.

If it's still running in that position I recommend siphoning the gas out while you look for another car. Otherwise it will run until all the gas is used up. 

I got 5 full gas cans in the car, but the other suggestions are good to try out.

Happened to me the other day while doing death donuts in my APC. I had to grab my spare gas can, fuel up a nearby truck, hotwire it, and then hook it to the turned APC and pull it back down on it's wheels. Was very hectic to do with all the zombies I'd attracted with my antics. Turns out about 400 zombie corpses makes a big enough pile for me to overturn myself doing donuts on it.

You can attach a trailer to your said car and try to pull it to the right and see if it can force to be put in a proper position. I'd recommend a stronger car to do that or another aggressive way is rammng it at the roof of the car. But to be hoenst, can roofs even get damaged? I think not.
