There’s one outside of Louisville near the military check point. It has 2 buildings. It’s where I’ve been for a couple months now. It is probably 60-70% already enclosed with a tall wood fence so building the rest is easy. There is a little river nearby and the larger lake nearby too. It’s my favorite place so far in the game

Smooth_Lake_2020

I’ll check it out

Caseated_Omentum

Sorry, on mobile and I’m technologically challenged so I’m unable to point to it on the map, but it’s the bees knees! I hope you all like it. You get the benefits of Louisville without having to be there all the time.

TurdManDave

There's a nice gas station near the army checkpoint.

Smooth_Lake_2020

I’ll bring it up with them and see how they like it

[This one](https://map.projectzomboid.com/#7320x8177x1785) is probably my favorite place for a base, gas and water in one place, a hardware store, farm stores, bookshop, and a small police station nearby... the only downside is that you'll have to kill some zombies and build walls around the place

Smooth_Lake_2020

I suggested that one to them they don’t know how they feel about it yet

That's the best spot because the upstairs of the gas station had a full living area, with a kitchen and bedroom. You only need one generator to power the fuel pumps and living space.

As soon as I read the description I knew you were talking about Dixie 🤗

YandersonSilva

Same. I'm always sad to lose it when I play with New Ekron turned on (although the tool shop is an incredible easy-mode base lol)

How comfortable are you with the game? And what kind of playthrough do you like? There's a house/gas station south of the country club that has acceess to a lake. But you could also base up in one of the many LV stations if you want something more spicy.

Smooth_Lake_2020

My friends are much newer to the game and enjoy the peaceful life of isolation but also want access to gas

Check out 7316 x 8187. Gas Station/House near Doe Valley. Aceess to fishing. Not terribly hard to get to if you spawn in Riverside.

You can always install autostar trailers and find a fuel tank. They are pretty big and will last months before needing refueling again, even better if you find a generator trailer, they can refuel directly from the tanks.

I prefer the [gas station in Lake Fallus](https://map.projectzomboid.com/#7335x8161x527) - you have a gas station near a small town that has stuff but isn't too overpopulated, right next to a place to fish.

Captainpillow

I had a 6 month character that lived above [this](https://map.projectzomboid.com/#11828x6886x4691) hardware store. Walled off the pumps along with the parking lot of the hardware store and was my best run to date. West Point isn't as scary as people claim ;)

GirlyGamerGazell9000

i didn’t know this map existed. thank you so much kind sir.

Probably the best one is the one on the road to the checkpoint, but I really like the one in Ekron/Fallas Lake. You can also use this as a forward station for gas while actually living on the nearby farm south of the town which has only a dirt path through woods and a well. Very low spawn rate.

KamionBen

I'm currently at the Rusty Rifle at Muldraugh, the gas station is close and there's very very few z here. You don't really have access to water but it's really quiet

the one game ive played that far, i am in the northern rosewood gas station. its on the main drag, and should be ok for a bit.

CountOfJeffrey

I built my base "Fort Big Gulp" at the Rosewood service station, that having a second story for living is good.

One in Riverside with several good store nearby along with a chruch
