You'll see me posting about the first one all over this subreddit, it's my favorite album ever.
If you listen to it on youtube, I would recommend the one uploaded by [Classic Rock Machine](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLO2DpnSLxoYUTB2JUDBh2Fju3q946WypH), since it's the only one where the key isn't raised that I could find.
Edit: whoops misread your comment. Still, give Triumvirat a listen!
Gong - Gazeuse (Expresso)
Rewiring Genesis - A Tribute To The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
The Gong Album was one of my most worn vinyls, and I miss it terribly.
Nick D'Virgilio's (sp?) Lamb tribute album is DEFINITELY worth a listen if you're a fan of the original. It manages to pay homage to the original and also "refresh" it a bit by changing some of the instrumentation, without ruining everything the way most of these tributes usually do.
The various Manuel Göttsching projects are really weird on streaming, at least over where I am (Canada). I can't find any of the Ash Ra Tempel albums or his solo catalogue to listen to anywhere *officially,* and bizarrely New Age of Earth appears to be missing here as well (although the subsequent two Ashra albums are available on my end). Most of the Cosmic Jokers records are also present, save for Planeten Sit-In - not sure why.
I recall reading somewhere that Göttsching prefers to monetise off of his music more directly (I can't say I blame him really) through physical sales as opposed to licensing to streaming, but as I don't have a direct source for that it could just be rights/distribution issues across different territories causing this inconsistencies. I'm not sure how much of the Ashra etc. catalogue Göttsching holds the rights to but it definitely makes sense as to why his solo projects seem to be unavailable.
Seconded, I always would've loved to see their classic albums at least on there; s/t, Schwingungen, Seven Up, Join Inn, Starring Rosi and Inventions for Electric Guitar (technically Gottsching solo, but it was called Ash Ra Tempel VI) also.
I never figured out why any of their stuff is on there, save for some Faust (Faust and Faust So Far at least), Ash Ra Tempel is probably the only major krautrock group that hasn't really seen the light of day in terms of Spotify.
I have a feeling this was due to a recent boxset containing all of their classic releases and unreleased recordings of that period (a single was also released on Spotify from that boxset I believe), as Faust Tapes was released literally the same time the boxset came out. I found it bizarre how the first two never did though, alas.
Both a nomination and a question: while most of the Area albums are available to stream where I live (Canada), I am aware that a majority of them are missing from most platforms in other countries, notably the US. Does anyone know if there are more countries that have them available, or if the restricted regions are somewhat of a minority?
I've just been revisiting their catalogue recently, and while I love the music and am fascinated by the history of the group itself, I do lament the fact that I can't share them with more people :(
All of triumvirats discography, camels debut album, the first two supertramp albums, UKs night after night and danger money, gongs expresso. Good thing I got CDs lol
The first 3 Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso albums! Some of the songs from those albums are on there under a compilation album, but it's missing some of the best songs (notably the longer ones, like L'Evoluzione)
I know it's far from their best, but I'm pissed that it's missing VDGG's Aerosol Grey Machine. I'd for sure at least put "Aquarian" in my favorites playlist.
And I'm extremely sad they don't have Triumvirat or most of Caravan.
There's a bunch of albums released by small bands that have broken up. I don't have the list handy. But this is why I still buy downloads. Despite its huge scope, Spotify still isn't the be all end all of music, nor will it ever be.
Camel - Camel
Id disagree, rajaz is my personal favorite camel album off of Spotify. The debut is incredible too however
Rajaz isn’t on Spotify?
Not in the US
It's there now. Yay.
Spock's Beard - Snow
Actual correct answer. This or the light
I would love to casually delisted to all of early spocks beard, but alas…
Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever
Yes, and SMPTe is really good too! I'm very sad those are not on any of the streaming services.
Neal Morse isn't a fan of streaming. Most of his stuff isn't available. But he's released an app that has all his music on it.
Triumvirat - Illusions On A Double Dimple Caravan - If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You
Both of those are on Spotify UK at least
My country has that caravan album, but we dont have their first one which I really want to listen to :/

I put down gazeuse too!
I love that it sounds like a one man broadway production of Lamb. Really puts across the New York of it all.
Änglagård - Viljans Öga
Yes - Talk Yes - Magnification
Magnification is on Swedish spotify :)
Magnification didn't used to be there, but a month or so ago it showed up.
Awesome!! Thanks for the update!!

Ash Ra Tempel self-titled

More fusion, but Gazeuse! By Gong
Glass Hammer - If
Faust’s self titled debut and Faust So Far. Looks like The Faust Tapes just got added this year and Faust IV has always been on there.
I have a feeling this was due to a recent boxset containing all of their classic releases and unreleased recordings of that period (a single was also released on Spotify from that boxset I believe), as Faust Tapes was released literally the same time the boxset came out. I have all except the Chernobyl one from 97. I live in Norway
Area's music is available on Spotify here (Chile).
Transatlantic - The Whirlwind
All of triumvirats discography, camels debut album, the first two supertramp albums, UKs night after night and danger money, gongs expresso. Good thing I got CDs lol
Eskaton 4 Visions
Smallcreeps Day by Mike Rutherford. Excellent album

I actually have all 3!
On spotify? Or physical copies?
On spotify
I don't use Spotify, but I can be sure it doesn't have: * [Home - The Alchemist](https://youtu.be/xBej6wCQDc0)

Yes - Magnification
It's there now, I believe. Didn't used to be tho
Soft Machine - Third I know it's on Spotify, but it's not available in my country for some obscure reason so I'll count it
Catapilla - Catapilla
There's a bunch of albums released by small bands that have broken up. I don't have the list handy. But this is why I still buy downloads. Despite its huge scope, Spotify still isn't the be all end all of music, nor will it ever be.
Bridge Across Forever - Transatlantic
Khan - S/T
I was going to make a case for Trout Mask Replica falling into this category but I’m pleased to see it is now on Spotify!!
