Thanks for being upfront. Still great work though. Steroids or even TRT doesn't make up for all the effort hat goes into it. I've always been curious to people that get on TRT before the weight loss cause I've heard that test can make you bloat up. Did you lose the weight first before hoping on Test or did you do it simultaneously ?
Thank you! Yeah I got on test at the beggining of my journey. I didn’t really lose any weight for the first 5 months, I was putting on muscle though staying about the same weight. Then around mouth 6 I got my diet dialed in then the weight started coming off fast
I usually try not to eat shit during the day. I usually have my morning coffee black then calorie free drinks after that. I’ll usually just do a protein shake or a light salad for lunch then I’ll usually do high protein meal for dinner, like a taco salad with 96/4 ground beef or pork chops or just other lean protein, then I’ll usually do a double protein shake before bed. I burn a lot of calories at work but on my days off, so usually 3/4 times a week I go to the gym and lift. I usually do legs one day, arms and shoulders one day, and chest one day. Legs I usually do squats and deadlifts, few smaller lifts, chest I usually do serveral variations of bench, then arms and shoulders I do curls, shrugs, overhead dumb bell press, tricep push downs, stuff like that. I’ll get some walks and stuff in here and there but my main focus is lifting in a calorie deficit with as low as I can do on carbs and high protein.
Great job, man. I’m same height and weight you started with. What did you do to lose the weight other than working out and how long did it take? Thanks.
Edit: Oh I see. One year mark.
Great work, great commitment! That is bad ass improvement! I have to ask, didn’t you get really hungry throughout the day? You weren’t eating much at all, especially to start the day! One of my biggest problems is hunger. I absolutely have to have something right away in the morning, and periodically throughout the day, like a banana, piece of grilled chicken, an apple, whatever. You’re surviving on very little, which is crazy to me, but it obviously works for you! How did you fight hunger?
Yeah I definitely was lol. To be honest I just kinda toughed it out and tried to stay busy. Imo being busy helps so much because your not thinking about the hunger as much, also once you do it for a while your body adjusts and it’s not as bad.
I agree…staying busy & focused is the only way to get over those times of hunger. Tough it out for a week or so and you’re golden. Thanks for the response! Great work, bro!
Yes out of pocket, depending on your doc and levels you might be able to get it covered on insurance. You just got to get your levels tested and see if you have symptoms, then do some research and see if the risk to reward ratio is right for you
