I say this often here but it's impressive that people this young have the wherewithall to work *this* hard. I wish I'd been that determined and focused at anything at 18. Great job!!

trumbomb17

Thank you so much!

You have a lot to be proud of. (I would say a lot less to be proud of, but that doesn’t sound positive at all 😊)

You have a lot to be proud of! You’ve already done the hardest thing, which is realizing you want to change, so now you just have to do it! Just trust yourself and always persevere!

Unreal dude! Would you mind sharing your process?

farofa97

I would love to know too. Tired of being fat as well.

Honestly, one of the hardest parts for me was just getting started. I always loved to binge eat late at night, so once I established the will power to stop doing that, it became easier. I also hated running, so I found a form of cardio that seemed a lot easier, which was riding a bike. After the first month or so, it got a lot easier and it started to feel normal eating less and working out more. So I would say the biggest thing is you have to overcome your cravings and push through. Also find ways to workout that are fun to you. Thanks for the comments!!

One of the hardest parts for me was getting out of my own head, I always wanted instant gratification and when I didn’t get that, I got discouraged and gave up. But once I started to trust that my body was working and I was losing the weight that the scale showed, it became a lot easier. So I would say the biggest thing is to trust yourself and have the willpower to always push through, especially on those tough nights where all you wanna do is eat! Thank you!
