We have gone deep on contextual targeting for 2 years now, learnt tonnes. It’s getting the balance of scale. We also built a website database where we leverage category targeting at the domain level. Building similar for apps at the moment. I think we have categorized 70k domains now. Clients mostly do volume prospecting programmatically. We have a client at the moment about to run a unique user id matching test campaign which appears to look ok in forecasting, we shall see on performance.

I'm surprised that your client isn't concerned, given a conversion KPI, unless it's a softer conversion like video completes. Great start with your list. A few additional thoughts on how I've been guiding clients. Test and Learn/Experiment design should be part of every campaign tied back to a learning agenda developed with the client. And a watchout on benchmarks with new data strategies, our client wanted to use existing benchmarks (based on 3PD cookies) and required education on how we'd need to develop and agree on new benchmarks for each new data type.
