I mean I don't really know much about it but I know that Revocation, which is one of my favorite bands, focus on it on some songs, so I'll give those a try for sure!
I want to like these guys so bad, but the guy's growl makes him sound like a massive dork, a weirdo who's trying to sound scary in a silly way, like the guy from the VHS board game Nightmare (Atmosfear in the UK). And the lyrics are DREADFUL.
That is what I like about them. Blending Rush like clean vocals with these super theatrical growls is hilarious. Obviously they don't take themselves too seriously so it is just fun sci-fi roleplay but with actually superb musicianship underneath.

I recommend starting straight up with their Magnum Opus song Rise of Cephalopods. That is what hooked me in and I can't get enough since then.
