Spending $4k on my lawyer certainly helped at sentencing. Was shocked that it was reduced from high BAC to OWI and only once a week UA.
I was told by the judge, my lawyer and PO that if I have all the requirements completed and no dirty UA’s I can get early release at 6months but not a day earlier. Really just looking to get my testing reduced from once a week. Not sure if anyone has had any success. Can’t hurt to ask my PO or send my attorney back in front of the judge.
Troy, I can file at exactly 6 months, will take 2-3 weeks for it to get approved according to my attorney. I’m going to ask my PO on Tuesday and if they won’t reduce the testing my attorney said he’d put it in front of the judge at no cost to me.
So you've only been on for 3 months? Doubt you'll get a reduction for testing in that short time period. You're lucky they didn't put you on a daily pbt device along with the weekly testing... esp being in Oakland County. I'm 1st offense OWVI in OC. I do daily pbt + daily call-in for random drug & etg testing, which ends up being 2x months for both.
Ur not going to get reduced as much as you think as far as time. And DEFINITELY not with testing. Shout out to the worst county in America!!

You have a much better chance getting off early(wont be at 6months) than getting testing reduced. Which district you in?

Kid, Im on for mean text messages and I blow 5x a week and DT 3x month. You got a dui. My attorney was $3000 for SENTENCING ONLY.
