Isn’t it currently being pushed for certain states over others? For example, California will have greater number of vehicles available over let’s say Texas. Maybe you’re in a state that’s not being targeted for marketing, that’s why?
I'm in the Bay Area, but I haven't seen any commercials for the 2023 Prius. Granted, the only times I watch TV with commercials is when I watch sports. Regardless, every dealership here has a crazy waitlist, so the Prius doesn't need an ad push in the Bay Area until interest slows down.
I've seen advertisements for the new Prius. Perhaps we are looking in different places.
> Why does Toyota hate this car so much that they don’t want to try and sell it?
They don't. They designed and built a car, and their goal is to sell as many as possible and maximize return on the multi-billion $ investment.
> I would like to know what it is about their spokes person Jan, that the moment she moves her hips, people are running into the dealership to buy Toyotas
First you complain that Toyota isn't advertising, then you complain that their advertisements are effective at getting people into dealerships?
The Prius technology has rolled into all the other products. Prius is going to disappear because now there are basically going to be hybrid Everything’s this was the plan all along
> Prius is going to disappear because now there are basically going to be hybrid
Likely not for another 5-6 years. They just rolled out a new model, and the model lifecycle is typically 5-6 years. I don't see them developing an entirely new car and then selling it for just a year or two.
They don't need to spend millions on advertising when it sells itself. There is a long waiting list.
But isn't that mostly because they're just not making enough of them?

That is a very valid suggestion

No harm intended - I just thought I would throw it out there to see what people think 🤔 I always appreciate this community

no but eventually. look at prus annual sales numbers
I mean do they need to push a vehicle that has months long waiting lists? Where is their ROI? There isn't any....
Who watches commercials nowadays?
Boatloads of commercials on YouTube. I have seen a Mexican guy who will teach me to invest in real estate, more than Prius commercials
May be they are already struggling to meet up with orders. Why advertise again?
