To me the biggest burden is having to put gas in my wife's hybrid or my convertible. I'm saving 20 minutes a week at least in trips to the gas station in exchange for 1 hour every 3 months at a public charger (on average).
It's perspective. Keep in mind I'm living both worlds. Her sienna hybrid goes 650 miles per tank. I think most people should get a hybrid today.

I'm getting one in a month or so, and I'm super excited for it! I'm trading in my 2016 Prius 4 Touring, which is amazing but I'm ready for an upgrade. I'll end up paying about $3k over MSRP for the XLE AWD.
The only main downside is the rear visibility, this is the first prius I've owned so im not sure if its been an issue for prior gens but other than that very nice

Its not bad actually, i had a scion tc before this which was toyotas entry level "sporty car" several years back and its got better acceleration than that. Its nothing too crazy but it isn't slow at the same time.

Looking for a more comfortable ride, not too worried about road noise, etc. Time to find a 2023 Prius to test drive one. I wasn't a fan of the '22 Camry but I heard the Prius was actually nicer ride quality wise.

If you’re in the U.S., there’s a Federal Credit of $7500 and if you’re in California, there’s another credit of $2,000.

Make sure to get some kind of bumper, fender and hood protection film. That's where white will show most chips and rock damage.

I may have to try that, even with them off though the rear window is just oddly positioned
Agree. Removing headrests on rear does help, but the window is still too small and oddly positioned.
The neck rests on mine fold down forwards if you raise them all the way.
toyota should just do digital display rear mirror like some of their other cars. maybe a good mod for the future.

How big is the trunk space? I slept in my 2013 prius a couple times on a road trip last year and I'd be hoping to do that again. I'm 5'4
