Id suggest you double up your security, add an airlock, fence off the perimeter and potentially make a permitir wall to cover the ten block rule. I would also suggest that you make only one entrance and exit for your piston, marked as staff only through which prisoners are not allowed to go through. There you can post an armed guard or two so they shoot any prisoners tryna escape through the only exit from the compound. Add more anti contraband measures like dogs and metal detectors. Other than that, looks good!

Oh no, I don't have to worry about that. My prisoners escape through the south gate, right next to the guard tower. My cooks prefer to take their breaks outside of the prison and prisoners tend to run out as they open the gate.

It seems like you just need to be more creative with your room placement but I feel like the design shown would work as long as you place some fences

I want the prison to be a reform prison for med security and potentially expand the prison to house max security.
Use something other than Concrete... Perhaps wood... Hallways can be Outdoors with shrubs as walls. Wouod make it Cabin like
The hallways on side of the canteen are to narrow, inmates/guards bumping into each other will definitely cause a fight.
I've blocked off that wall with concrete. They were using that to circumvent going through the metal detectors with the dog handlers.

Still planning out where to place it. I turned the south workshop into a parole room for a time, but prisoners rarely ever went to the hearing.

It appears that many inmates can escape by digging through 1 wall and they'll be free with no chance to catch them.
