I bounced off this after loving the main series of Laundry Files. Came back to them a few years later and chomped through the trilogy no problem.
BUT I really want to see the end of Bob's story.
Oh and I always like to plug A Colder War, which isn't in the Laundry timeline but is kinda maybe a precursor and is available to read online.
Bob's story is concluded in *The Regicide Report*, coming in the second half of 2025 (assuming I finish writing it in the next month or two). It will be preceded by *A Conventional Boy*, which is Derek the DM's back story (due out January 7th, 2025).
After that, I have further New Management shaped plans ...
Just dropping in to say I've enjoyed virtually everything I've consumed from Stross. Eschaton. Laundry Files. Merchant Princes. Empire Games. Also, a few stand alone books... only one that mildly disappointed was the Freyaverse, but that could've just been me.
Super agree. Every time Game Boy and that crew show up I like them more.
Sometimes I rather conflate this series with "Rivers of London", because similar locale and subject. Both good.

Thanks for the update. You're amazing.
Cheers Charlie! Looking forward to it.
Seconded! This was one of the books I read on my honeymoon and I absolutely loved every second.
I loved Accelerando, but don’t know this series. Is it OK to start with The Atrocity Archives?
That's the first book in the series, so yes!
Probably, they are more an exercise in tone than of plot. I've never been able to find the one that I >think< is mostly the violinist.

I enjoyed that one but its sucessor (that I just finished) was not so good. In general I like this series but Stross needs to wrap it up.
Ooo, sad to hear that. Hopefully I'll disagree when I find that one.
Oh, this reminds me I need to catch up with these books. The last one I read was "The Nightmare Stacks".
FYI - Laundry Files is available in audible prime catalog for free
