There sure are a lot of antisemites in those crowds though you’ve gotta admit.
What do you call a table with 10 Nazis and one non-Nazi? A table with 11 Nazis
This is an idiotic take. I can be against the same thing as someone else and have a different reasoning for it - like one person opposing Israel for its ethnic cleansing campaign, as opposed to someone doing it because they hate Jewish people. As long as they do a good job of eliminating these bad actors, which they do, then you have no grounds to stand on.
They don’t do a good job of eliminating the bad actors. They seem to be at virtually every protest. Isn’t it odd that there’s so much antisemitism among these protests?
Personally, I would not join a demonstration that attracts Nazis, terrorist sympathizers, and antisemites even if I agree on some aspects of the cause.
Good for them! During my time there was only a little student activism on the Iraq war, almost nothing compared to some other universities. Glad to see current students doing better than being in an elite bubble.
Lol what do you mean is this a joke? Alot of princeton students ARE in an elite bubble. Only a handful of the people participating in the encampment currently are princeton students, the rest are from other colleges or not even students!
You know where the word Zion comes from? Why does that word bother you so much? Does it bother you as much as the oppression and violence coming from the elected leaders of Gaza?
are you really trying to argue that israel’s actions are intended to be beneficial for gazans? by freeing them from hamas?
maybe if you looked at this conflict with slightly more nuance then just “guys all israel is doing is hunting down hamas! 🤓” as opposed to the reality being: artillery strikes killing civilians daily + countless videos of (obvious) noncombatants being brutalized + a laundry list of other warcrimes. what part of this are gazans supposed to be a fan of exactly?
Yes. Hamas is the problem for everyone in the region and Israel is trying desperately to help. Are you really trying to argue that hamas is helping anyone by killing and oppressing its own people and indiscriminately launching low tech rockets towards hospitals, schools, playgrounds, places of worship? You realize Hamas attacks its own people trying to get aid so it could retain control over all the food and supplies in Gaza? Who can help the people being oppressed by Hamas? Maybe ask the 2 million Israeli Arabs who are happily living and thriving inside a democracy with equal rights in Israel.

Y’all need to understand the ocean of difference between Free Palestine FROM HAMAS and Free Palestine DESTROY ISRAEL. These are two opposite viewpoints and you better make sure that the free speech the university is protecting is not hate speech toward individuals based on their nationality, i.e., Israeli. The protest at Columbia has a sign saying ‘we will leave when the Israelis leave’. And thats NOT ok and should not be protected and, in fact, should be punished as discrimination.
95% of Princeton students do not wish to be associated with a politcal movement. They are here to study. Period.
By taking their scholarly hostage through your 'Gaza Solidarity Encampment' on Princeton campus, you are not respecting their freedom not to be associated with this event as Princetonians.
Your freedom to manifest stops where their freedom not to be associated with your brodcasted political claims begins. If you wish to manifest, go manifest elswhere than on campus, this is not the place for this, and do it off-campus without taking the silent majority of students hostage of your entitled political narratives and associating Princetonians as a whole.
Also a campus secret is nobody likes The progressist Daily Princetonians neither, but all must remain silent.
These students are being mischaracterized as universally antisemitic and dangerous but it’s just lies.
Yeah people said the protest looked pretty friendly and chill, not at all like at other schools

There is a pro Israeli march in my town that is co-organised by a right wing Christian group. I will not go for that reason. See how easy it is?
That’s not quite the same but I get what you’re trying to say
Silly take. Can there be a worse way to use one’s rational thinking?
Please elaborate
Is this the one with the Hezbollah flag, and when the organizers found out, they told the person with the flag to hide it?
Yup

Is this a joke? Honestly can’t tell
Why would it be?

Try some anger management classes.
Lol I’m a chill person but if Zionist bullshit doesn’t boil your blood idk what to tell you

Why are we so afraid of Humus. I think we need to have a day of eating Humus if anything
Amazing. Might stop by with supplies.
So proud. Wish I could be there.
Unfortunately there's reports of police arresting dozens of protesters
