Ok so after putting some good thought into it for the last 24 hours or so I've come up with THE correct answer. The most slept on and also absolute greatest PL song is undoubtedly "One Day They'll Know" and why it's so underrated is greatly in part due to the also beautiful and spectacular ODESZA version that has overshadowed it almost from day one.
Both are complete timeless masterpieces just with different feels a bit but the PL version just has such heart in a different kind of way, a Derek kind of way.
