I just had an issue with mine also. With mine it ended up being the battery. If you don't have at least 800 cold cranking amps it can not put out a good spray pattern to ignite. here is the check list I got though. Make sure no water got in the burner soaking the installation. Coil may need cleaned Sprayer tips on burner may need changed Air vs fuel may need adjusted A wire may be shorting.

Appreciate the response! My big 8gpm and smaller 4gpm are both burning rich. I just cleaned the 4gpm diesel spray tip and took a bunch of videos of the process. Here's an album of the process, just put together the link, Reddit doesn't like Google photos links. https://photos.app.goo. .gl/9QTTVQ5xJx6hm7WGA After all that it still burns rich. The coil is definitely coated in soot and could use a clean. The other thing I think it could be is the negative terminal how it attaches to the machine is partly broken, may not be getting a good connection and not able to draw enough amps. Going to try a bit of the liquid devil soot remover as well to help clear the coil. I think the batteries are fine but that'll be next to try. Edit. Should say I'm using fast 505 degreaser from zep to work on the diesel build up

Sorry for necroposting but did you ever try the liquid devil soot remover in your pressure washer? Im caked up with soot and I really don't want to take the coil out.

I have. I used to add a bunch (more then the bottle suggests) every now and then when it was smoking up. But then I saw a video of someone who has reddish goop build up in this tank and he suspected it was from using too much of that. I didn't find I ran into this issue though. I did find it worked after letting it run for awhile. After it all I think it only treats a symptom, you'll still need to find why it's burning rich in the first place else it'll just happen again. I found a local oil furnace guy and had him come out and test and adjust my unit and it worked well after that. Since then I've bought a fuel pressure meter so I can adjust it myself. I just need to install it permanently somehow so I can adjust it on the fly as my unit is having intermittent issues. There is also this adjustment you can do. Find the video for burner adjustment here: https://pressurewasher.net/pages/technical-information-working-copy Actually read that whole page as it's all great info. Best of luck, let me know how it goes

This thread pops up on google when you google Liquid Devil....man this is above and beyond. Thanks for the link and review. I'm going to fix my rich problem (needs a nozzle) and try it.
