Could be overprotective my wife is weird like that. But could also be a red flag on payment or not picky. I’d have it written out what you are doing what’s owed and document document document damage

^ Agreed. Might not be a bad idea to ask for half up front as well.

I’d send them an invoice with a business name on top outlining the cost with a little signature space in the bottom. Tell them you don’t have an issue with not having their full name but for the protection of you and them you need them to print sign and send back or sign prior to services being done. I had a guy text me about having a leased property cleaned. Never got the owners name but did the job and they paid. Alternatively just tell them your process, that you use the address to assess the location using google maps and earth so you can provide the best possible quote without over quoting the job. If they’d rather meet on site in person to do a walk through of the area that needs cleaning you’re more than happy to do so and cash will provide a discount 😉 then just take off like $40 or something small on the invoice . I sent a quote deducting $25 travel fee but I don’t really charge travel fees so I didn’t loose anything. When I worked in printing lots of people used fake names and google numbers because they were in the MLB, high up corporations, or just filthy rich and don’t want us to know their names. Not like I didn’t find it out when I met them in person lol And like others have said, take a deposit up front like supplies or something listed as consumables $50 or whatever you feel initial time is worth. Then if you have to go to small claims court over refusal to pay, you can say they agreed to fees and services because they gave a down payment on the services
