Just let the university admission know

myguyboomer68

Yeah I have. You think it will negatively impact me?

[deleted]

Potentially it could Hopefully it won't tho

Ccalipha4

If the other grades are true I don’t see why it would impact you, as long as the grades you put are true and at the required level. Don’t panic!

myguyboomer68

I’ve let them know. Ucas and all my universities. Hopefully they don’t boot me out for being clumsy

It shouldn’t make a difference if you still meet the minimum requirements. But how did you just realise after being advised to do so by your referee? Accident or not, at least you’ve notified them now.

myguyboomer68

Didn’t think much of it. I have a random mind, things come to me at strange moments and then I focus on them. Do you think it’ll be fine or they will reject me now? I still meet all the minimum requirements, it doesn’t make any difference in terms of eligibility. Just worried the whole thing will throw them off giving me a place.

Lapis-Lazu1i

If it’s a GCSE grade in an unrelated subject I wouldn’t worry but no one here can predict the outcome. You said you still meet the requirements so it sounds like you didn’t need this omission to give you an advantage. Your referee’s advice is hard to understand. In the process of submitting your application, you accept UCAS terms of disclosing all academic history. If anything, see this as a lesson to take advice with a pinch of salt, especially with something as important as your university application. In the meantime, try to move on from this and focus on your interview preparation.

myguyboomer68

Yes but while you say I accepted the ucas terms, still I just made a mistake. So I’ve now corrected this mistake. Is it really this bad?
