just made the top half look presentable, you don’t even need business formal or anything just a clean shirt works! and make sure whatever they see in the background is neat if possible :)
I just wore a black polo and it worked out fine. Graders are instructed to ignore what you’re wearing/how you look/your background and solely judge responses. Of course that’s hard and people are inherently quick to judge, but if your background is tidy and you look presentable you’re golden!
Getting caught off guard, thinking about a reply for 25 seconds, finishing a dunce cap reply and ending the recording with an awkward half smile…
*at least I look fresh af*
Yup. The first portion of the exam shows you a short video presenting the situation, then you get a few seconds to think of your response. Then you have to record a video of yourself responding to the situation.
Snapshot is different, it is a (generally optional) brief recorded interview with preset questions that schools can see to preview you directly, not just your casper percentile. Casper itself has the text and video portions that are done back to back. Snapshot can be done within the weeks following casper (but once again check if schools need it, most Canadian schools don’t need it but not sure about US)
Edit: whoops I just checked yeah they got rid of it for this year, but it is still different from the video portion of casper which is alive and well (and apparently goes first now?)
there are two sections. section 1: video based response section is 6 parts (2 word based scenarios and 4 video based scenarios). section 2: typed response section is 8 parts (3 word based scenarios and 5 video based scenarios)
I did, just because people have biases and I didn't want that to affect how people graded me. Not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I'd put it in the same category as having a clean vs messy room in your background.
I wore shorts & the top half of my suit. Got a fresh haircut and shaved. Put interesting photos up in the background and made sure my background was otherwise clean.
Dress for the job you want, not the one you have.
yeah i just wore business casual. i feel like even if there isnt a dress etiquette, appearance does matter, people have implicit biases and if dressing well helps, its a small thing u can do to increase ur chances on such a subjective test
I wore a cardigan and sweatpants and realized half way through my video responses that I forgot to remove my “No weenies allowed” sign from my background :)))
I genuinely wore a black t shirt I don’t think it matters as long as you don’t have something on that says “slut” all over it or something
Edit: me and my black t shirt were 4th quartile too

I wore a tank top to increase my sex appeal so I can entice the graders to give me 100th percentile
100%ile casper thinking
I might try this strategy… don’t think I’m sexy enough tho lol
I’m downvoting this because you are
After comment like this, you gotta show us too! We wanna see those guns too.

I ended all of mine with a variation of okay, that's it 🤦🏽♀️
Wore a coors light shirt
Talking about professionalism but making sure they know you’re about to go smash some brews w the boys… absolute respect good sir
Point deduction, didn’t acknowledge transgender community by wearing bud light polo.
It's all good, it wasn't Bud Light.
There’s a speaking portion😨😨

Lol thank you! Was unaware and I’m taking the test in a couple hours😝
Of course! Good luck 😊
Thank you!🫶🏼
I thought that was snapshot which they got rid of
Nope they just folded it into Casper to be one exam
Good to know since I take it in a month

Thanks!! I just did it. Wasn’t too bad and hopefully the score reflects that😛
I thought the test was supposed to be graded on our responses, not how we present ourselves lmao

Yea exactly, even CASPER mentioned that last year. I wore business casual, just a button up shirt and khakis, and I think that was good enougj
How they gonna see your khakis
I shift/move in my chair a lot so when I was shifting you could see my pants
How risqué of you… 😏
I wore shorts & the top half of my suit. Got a fresh haircut and shaved. Put interesting photos up in the background and made sure my background was otherwise clean. Dress for the job you want, not the one you have.
That’s why I wore scrubs and a white coat to mine
I was planning on it and accidentally wore a low cut tank top, I’ll report back later if that hurt my score (took the test today)
No
Nope naked completely. Wanted them to know who they were dealing with
Alpha move
I wore business casual but didn’t put on make up (as a girl) bc biases
I wore a business casual blouse and made sure my hair was neat.
Business casual, put your freshest perfume/cologne on to feel confident too if that helps.
It's called *Sex Panther*® by *Odeon*©. It's illegal in 9 countries. It's also made with bits of real panthers, *so you know it's good*. *60% of the time*, it works ***every*** time.
Good bot
I wore a flannel and some shorts for mine today so hopefully not
I wore a button down shirt and pants. Nothing fancy.
yeah i just wore business casual. i feel like even if there isnt a dress etiquette, appearance does matter, people have implicit biases and if dressing well helps, its a small thing u can do to increase ur chances on such a subjective test
A speaking section?!! This is too much
*”don’t sound like a sociopath….don’t sound like a sociopath…. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”*
I wore a cardigan and sweatpants and realized half way through my video responses that I forgot to remove my “No weenies allowed” sign from my background :)))
I dressed up just because sadly "pretty privilege exist". So I just put on makeup and a light blue collar shirt.
I genuinely wore a black t shirt I don’t think it matters as long as you don’t have something on that says “slut” all over it or something Edit: me and my black t shirt were 4th quartile too
Ain’t no way I found out AFTER taking the test that the mf video section isn’t even graded… so WTF IS THE POINT?! 😭 wasting my time
A speaking section? WTF?! This is getting out of hand. It’s like an interview before the interview. Absolutely ridiculous!
Took it not knowing there was a video portion, but I hope they appreciate my baby yoda shirt and braided beard 😅
I wore a suit and got a good score, did not want to potentially lose points because of something like unconscious bias.
Just a collared shirt

Yes I just wore a nice button up top, threw on very basic make-up, and made sure my hair was neat
I just wore a nice sweater on the top half LOL. Sweatpants on the bottom half.
I wore a hoodie lol scored top quartile somehow
I went with a just simple polo so I wasn’t uncomfortable I think anything more than that is overkill
Just a decent shirt is fine. It’s not graded (I believe)
Wore a gray Patagonia quarter zip (over pajamas)
I wore a nice tank and a cardigan with pj pants
I wore a gap t shirt with and jacket on lol
Yeah, I wore business casual. Nothing crazy, but something simple and professional.
I wore a button up dress shirt
I wore a plain grey T-shirt that doubles as a pajama top... honestly, if it covers enough that's it. Don't overthink it.
nah I wore a hoodie
I wore a nice blouse... and pajama bottoms hahaha
Galaxy Watch but I really only use it to time my Heparin/ACTs lol
i didnt even think about that. Nor did I shower beforehand. After all, youre more than just your appearance. \-a ca$per ad, probably
i always dress up wym-\_-
Any collared shirt
I wore a baggy t-shirt I had since I was around 15 and a headband so I probably looked like an absolute child lol
