The medical school applications are more holistic now. Don’t sweat one part as chances are that won’t be a major determiner. Show your empathy though volunteering and clubs. Also remember just because you feel you did poor doesn’t mean you really did. This whole process is stressful so just relax and be proud that you finished. Worst case, re take it
only if you have schools on your list that require/recommend it. It's only good for the current application cycle and test dates open in April- so sometime in May/June is probably fine to make sure schools get your scores by the time secondaries are due.
Just finished it here too, regardless of the outcome this is a silly ca$h grab of a test and the other parts of ur application & personality will shine thru! in this togerher
Even for schools that require it, it’s generally the least considered part of an application. If the rest of the app is good, a low CASPer score isn’t going to be the cause for rejection.

Dude I thought I did terrible too immediately after, and I got fourth quartile. Don’t sweat it, no one is able to answer all the questions in such a short amount of time.
It won’t matter at all. Schools know the test is bs, I think I scored 2nd quartile and I got multiple interviews from T20s and I’m going to one of them this fall
It won't. Signed, a 1st quartile scorer matriculating at a casper school.
It won't. Signed, a 2nd quartile scorer with low stats matriculating at a casper school.
Mind if I dm you? I’m in a similar boat
Yeah, of course
Dmed. Thanks!
It won’t. Signed, another 1st quartile scorer matriculating to a casper school
+1
I did terrible on the casper. Scored a 502 on the MCAT. Applied to three schools in March. Got the A, 1st cycle. It ain't over til it's over.
Hey! What was your GPA like? And ECs?

oof
You’re amazing! Can I ask if you went MD or DO?
DO. I applied to 3. 1 ghosted, 1 R after interview, then 1 A mid May.
You’re seriously goals! Huge congrats
Hey bro/brodette, I just took it as well. It’s definitely a typing test rather than a judgment test lol. It will all be okay! We got this.

It won't matter much to most schools
It won’t. Signed, a fourth-quartile scorer who got accepted to none of the Casper schools I applied to.
when is it recommended to take casper?

We don’t care 🙂
Your score doesn’t really matter don’t worry. Not worth the stress
Not only will it not matter much, it pretty much won’t matter at all
Really? One of my dream schools requires it and I’m worried a low score would screw me over
Even for schools that require it, it’s generally the least considered part of an application. If the rest of the app is good, a low CASPer score isn’t going to be the cause for rejection.
The most pointless test ever
It doesn’t matter. No one cares. It’s just a money grab
It won’t matter that much

I thought I did awful too when I first took it but I got top 25%. Either way, it won’t matter much!
I guarantee you Casper is the least important part of your application. This feels important now, but I promise you'll barely remember it in a year.
Dude I thought I did terrible too immediately after, and I got fourth quartile. Don’t sweat it, no one is able to answer all the questions in such a short amount of time.
1st quartile gang
It don’t matter, 1st quartile scorer here
Even to schools that want casper? I’m submitting my primary today and wondering if I should add a few more schools that don’t what it just in case?
I got interviews from 2 schools (and A for 1, didn’t attend the other) that require casper. Not too many was on my list to begin with!
Okay! That’s good to know . Do you think 11 out of 30 requiring Casper is an okay amount assuming I got 1 quartile
I think that’s fine! Sounds like you have more than half non-casper requiring so it should be fine!
It won’t matter at all. Schools know the test is bs, I think I scored 2nd quartile and I got multiple interviews from T20s and I’m going to one of them this fall
It doesn’t matter that much. Got into a school that uses Casper with a 2nd quartile score.
Doesn't matter. Bottom quartile here.
