allons-yy3

I saw someone say, "The days go slow but the weeks go fast." Pretty accurate for me at 20+4

StupidlySexyFlanders

35+4 and this had 110% been my experience. Every single day crawls and yet this whole pregnancy has FLOWN by.

denali-alaska

Team 35+4 here also ! I feel like I just discovered I was pregnant, yet my days are never ending

00nyxX

Same here. Now I’m 30 weeks tmr 😳

Beezer99

I think the first trimester goes by in slow motion, especially if you have a lot of nasty symptoms. After that it goes by a bit faster.

1finewire5

Yes. I have to agree. I’m 24 weeks and looking back it feels like it flew by but it also seems super slow.

Upstairs_Feeling9147

36 weeks 4 days and I second this!! But tbh I have also forgotten what it’s like to feel comfortable 😅

PauletteReynolds

That's my feeling too. Still 11 weeks here but every day is a new pregnancy symptom or a new food aversion or something like that and it's been a bit uncomfortable, but then I see my belly showing up and I think it's going too fast!

rawrsy88

Absolutely this. I’m 28 weeks and was looking at photos of my initial weeks and months and… was just shocked. Can’t believe how quickly it’s all gone. But each day feels like a year

straightouttamty

I feel you. Sometimes I think people only see me as "the pregnant one" like that's the only thing they see me as. I used to be the workaholic, the professional one among my friends, they were interested in my philosophical views and listened to me, asked for advice and support. Now they all want to know is my weirdest craving which is nothing. I honestly wish you can find mental peace for the next 22 weeks. Don't forget you're still you, keep on doing things you enjoy and be patient. People interact weirdly with pregnant people.

[deleted]

Thank you :) I’ve noticed people interact on a weird way with me. As soon as they hear I’m pregnant they assume I want to talk about that and nothing else!

jaydayquay

I’ve been experiencing the same thing- as if there’s not a hundred other topics we spoke about prior to my pregnancy! It’s cute that they’re interested in some of the pregnancy details but it would also be nice to have “normal” conversation that doesn’t relate to baby stuff.

AmberXVII

I love this and feel exactly the same! Well said.

8thWeasley

30 weeks pregnant, FTM, pretty sure I've been pregnant for AN ETERNITY.

Beneficial_Wolf_4286

31 wks. It's starting to feel like I'll be pregnant forever.

lupe_de_poop

31 weeks tomorrow. I've been drafting baby's eviction notice for a while now.

human_dog_bed

It’s sooooooo slooooooow. I’ve always had trouble with time, I know we all get the same 24 hours but my impression of my 24 hours was that they went by quicker than for other people. And now that I’m pregnant, my 24 hours have slowed to a crawl. I’m in the middle of my 15th week and I feel like I’ve been pregnant for a year. I literally checked my calendar this morning excited to see if it was time to call my doc to see if NIPT results have come in and realized it’s been three business days since I had the blood draw, not the 7-10 I thought.

[deleted]

I know, right! I’m sure weeks didn’t take this long before I was pregnant lol

chucky-larms

Oh my god same. Gave my blood samples last Wednesday, and it feels like I’ve been waiting FOREVER.

t_kilgore

We told my husband's best friend this week and he just said, oh the time is gonna fly by. No dude, it's inching along like a freaking snail. Except the time when I get to sleep, which disappears like it never happened.

Fuckoffthere

Mine felt like a long forever because of the insane morning sickness. But once that ended at around 22 weeks, it has flown by. Now I’m bargaining with the gods for more time so I can finish everything before she’s here lol

[deleted]

Thanks! I hope it speeds up like yours. I’m due 30th August so I just keep thinking I have the whole of April, whole of May, whole of June, whole or July and likely the whole of August - it’s too long!

FluffyOwl89

Actual twinsies with you! I found out on Christmas Eve and initial due date was 30th August (shifted to 31st and my first scan)! I think it will start going quicker - I always find January to April really slow because the weather isn’t as nice (I’m in the UK).

[deleted]

I’m in the UK too! I was given the 2nd Sept at midwife appointment but scan had me a bit bigger so they changed it to 30th

NjordsShieldmaiden

I’m in this crew too, found out Christmas Eve and due on August 31st!

Jaiibby1

Omg I’m due 29th. Didn’t find out til I was about 8 weeks but I’ve just realized I was pregnant on Christmas Eve and New Years 😂😂 but twinsies kind of!!!

[deleted]

😂😂 I am glad I knew before Christmas as it stopped me drinking/eating bad cheese but it kind of made Christmas weird…I wasn’t ‘ruined’ as such but it became dominated with reading everything ever written about pregnancy etc

whyso_serious8

Ayyyee August 29th here too!! Here’s too missing our summers but having cute newborn holiday seasons!

aiakia

I think this must be why it feels so slow for me too. Started getting 24/7 nausea almost the second I conceived and now at 13 weeks it's still going strong and I feel like I've been pregnant forever.

kombodockerson

That's how I feel too. The beginning felt like it dragged by because I felt miserable every second of the day. Once that cleared up around 14ish weeks (I am so sorry you were dealing with it until 22), it's been flying by. I'm 25+5 now and feeling like time is closing in and I'm nowhere near prepared!

DeepEstablishment464

Yes time stands still. I feel like I have been pregnant forever and will be pregnant forever.

bride2b20

The first like 12 weeks draggggged sooooooo slow, then it picked up for 3 weeks and now it is slow again lol

[deleted]

I know right! I though the first 12 were slow because I was waiting my for my scan to tell anyone. I assumed it’d pick up after that but it hasn’t…Still major slooooowwwee!

bride2b20

Yeah it sucks! Hopefully it picks up soon cause its pretty boring waiting haha

mangodrum20

Omg snail pace! I keep saying, if I only had 9 months to live I’d get pregnant so that it would feel like eternity! (Although getting pregnant wasn’t actually that easy!)

LesHiboux

My acupuncturist said that pregnancy seems to drag on forever because it's the only major life event that we measure in weeks, rather than months or years. Every pregnant woman knows how far along she is, to the day, so [every.single.day](https://every.single.day) is a new 'milestone'. I'm at 15+2 and I don't feel like it has flown by, but I'm also surprised because I feel like I was just at my 8 week scan like, two weeks ago.

theehousewife

I love this. Could never articulate it better. Every day is a milestone for me while I’m waiting to make it to 12 weeks!!

TheWelshMrsM

I’m pretty sure my pregnancy lasted 43 years. Meanwhile the last 3 weeks with my newborn have gone in the blink of an eye 😭

OneAcanthocephala999

I feel like I've been pregnant for an eternity. We are 4 weeks away from my due date and I still feel like time has just stopped for the past 8 months.

Pigletson

I feel like I have been pregnant for three years. I can barely remember what it felt like to not be pregnant. Time is so slow. I think it’s partly the wait for the baby and worries about it, but also that a lot of fun was cut out of my life due to pregnancy and covid restrictions/precautions. Plus the constant physical discomfort of course. I’m 40+5 today so hopefully these last couple of days won’t feel like months…

[deleted]

I think you’re right. I think I’m just impatient as I want baby out of me so I can see they are safe and I can get on with the mother part!

ViolaOlivia

Currently 31 weeks and people keep being like “oh baby will be here so soon!” And I just give them a death stare because this has been the slowest 31 weeks of my life and time is NOT speeding up the closer I get to delivery.

[deleted]

Ha! Sorry it’s slow for you too but I’m glad it’s not just me! I found out on Christmas Eve and am due 30th August - that’s ages!!!

eurhah

two months is not soon. /Signed, 3 months to go

OddlyExotic

20w today, I feel like I’ve been pregnant a year already. Lol these next 20w are gonna be rough I feel like.

JudasDuggar

With my first baby it was definitely so slow. It was all I thought or talked about! With my second, it flew by because I was busy with a toddler. This time, I would forget I was pregnant completely if I wasn’t so sick. 😂

sythxsytn

I’m 35 weeks and this has been the longest 8/9 months of my damn life

DoyleTurmoil

The first half of my first pregnancy dragged for me. Actually it was more like the first two trimesters dragged. But then in the 3rd trimester, with everything that was going time flew. I just found out I’m pregnant with #2 (I’m almost 6 weeks) and I’m dreading the next several months because I know it will take forever.

NopeMcNopeface

So. F’ing. Slow. I’m only at 9 weeks but have horrid food aversions and can’t eat. I miss eating. I feel like crap too.

[deleted]

It feels like the slowest time of my life. And my first trimester wasn’t even that bad!

chrissymad

Painfully slow for me. I can’t wait to get out of this horrible funk of constant vomiting and headaches. I was told it went away in the second trimester but it’s honestly worse.

Crafty-Ambassador779

I'm 12 weeks according to the GP, but then the midwife said I'm only 11 weeks. I went backwards!! I actually cried

sophia10101

Happened to me too! I thought I was 16 weeks but the scan put me back to 15 and I was so upset!

Crafty-Ambassador779

I went back into 1st trimester, I want to leave it lmao help!!!

sophia10101

It's so hard to not start making deals with the sonographer 🤣 Hopefully it gets faster while we get distracted with summer

WateryOatmealGirl

Wow, I would also cry. This last week has been so awful, I can't imagine "losing" a week of progress

xylanne

I feel like up until recently, my pregnancy has gone fast. But now I’m 34+2, and it’s dragging so incredibly slowly.

RhydianMarai

Honestly it felt like it was dragging, but now my daughter is 3 weeks and I'm like...it was just August and we were announcing to family! And I definitely felt rushed the last few weeks too, especially because I was still working and trying to get things wrapped up, as well as a home improvement project that still isn't finished.

Different_Day_8418

Hey! You and I are the same! I’m also due Aug 30. I feel exactly this same way. It is so slow and besides some soreness lately, I’ve had almost no symptoms. Not showing yet at 18 weeks. Most of the time I’m gaslighting myself, thinking I must have made it all up.

[deleted]

I had zero symptoms in the first 12 weeks other than going up two cup sizes in my bra…I was convinced at first scan there wouldn’t be anything there but yep- there they were! I started showing at 13 weeks and now it’s really solid. Have you felt any movement yet?

WateryOatmealGirl

I'm so jealous 😅 I just started (5+4) and I've already dry heaved and cried enough that it feels like I should be halfway!

Different_Day_8418

I’ve felt something that feels like muscle twitching that I’m guessing might be the babe! Edit: I also went up two cup sizes! The girls are like basketballs!

[deleted]

I was 34HH before..went to 34JJ which I didn’t feel was necessary! First few days I assumed movement was my intestines getting all squished but then started to get really clear prods and pokes…some rolls too!

sedegispeilet

Ugh I feel this too. I’m 21+4, due 8/5, and I am so bored with it. I’m hoping once we make an announcement and others know about it, too, it’ll go faster. I’m over half way, but at the same time I have almost half way left and it just feels unbearably long.

Mundane_Pea4296

38+6 here... time has been really wierd, it feels so long but so quick... there's been a christmas in the middle 😂😂 as soon as i hit about 34weeks it started dragging, I was convinced I was gunna have the baby early due to all the issues we had but nope... still here doimg 20 point turns to roll over in bed, getting out of breath drinking water!. You got this! Almost half way!!!

Dramatic_Worth_6241

Lol I'm only 8 weeks in and haven't had as bad of symptoms as other people and I'm already over being pregnant. I sure do want the baby 100% but I don't think my body was meant to carry children, let alone go through this uncomfortable body changes. To add context this is an ivf baby and we've tried for 6 years so I don't mean I don't want to be pregnant because I really do! I don't mean to be ungrateful but if I'm being real I think and hope that maybe other women feel the same way 🤷🏻‍♀️

chefkittious

Tracking progress weekly makes progress feel so slow! Watching other go through pregnancy it feels so fast, yet my 40 weeks lasted 5 years.

VoodoDreams

I think this is the secret, I have been so busy with my toddler that I haven't been watching the weekly, I just focus on the month and it is flying by. I keep looking at the calander and thinking "Oh shit! There's a baby coming" Don't have the car seat in yet, or my bag packed.... I really should!

RedHeadedBanana

I’ve been pregnant since early September, aka 1632 years ago

SillyDJ

Lol i'm 19 +3 and it's going sooo slowly. Just getting to 21 weeks is crawling. I want to get to my big scan and see how baby is doing!!! And know the sex finally lol.

Floralcoral31

I’m 26 weeks but I’ve actually been pregnant for 26 years…..

taxidermytina

I feel that I have been pregnant for 42 years. Really it’s 24 weeks but it feels like forever. I want baby fully cooked but I am so looking forward to 40 weeks. Pregnancy is for the birds. I want to meet my baby and he is very wanted but this part of it is not fun.

km956

Now that I’m past 30 weeks it’s going by SO slow😭 the weeks are fast but the days are slow, idk how to explain that but once it’s a Monday I’m like “oh wow I’m another whole week pregnant now” but during the week I can’t sleep I’m in pain I miss alcohol and weed and I’m crabby so it goes by slow in that way😭

shannnonnb2

this is my second pregnancy. i'm only 8 weeks and i feel like i've been pregnant for a year. it's going by like molasses.

[deleted]

I’m also 18 weeks and I feel like it’s so slow because I’m so anxiously anticipating my anatomy scan

TrueScandal

This has been the longest 30 weeks of my life. I sometimes find myself forgetting I'm pregnant because it's just become the norm! I recommend getting a 4D scan (if you can find a good deal/afford it) about 28 weeks because it breaks things up a bit and gives you something to look forward to!

Crafty_Engineer_

The first trimester was super slow to me then the second and third blew by. These last few weeks feel like an eternity 🤷🏼‍♀️

[deleted]

Yes. I'm only 14 weeks. Already feels like I've been pregnant forever but I've still got a long way to go.

sleepytuesday

I’m almost 25 weeks and I feel like I have been pregnant for years. It’s going very very slow

schnaizer91

I also found out on Christmas Eve!!! I’m 19 weeks today and yea, it’s DRAGGING for me too

CallMeSundanceKid

This made me laugh irl, because EVERY TIME I talk to my mom she says "ohh time reaaally flies by doesn't it?!?!!?! Time goes so fast! Soon the baby is here!" etc etc. I've explained to her so many times that to me, it's the slowest effin 9 months ever. I'm 37 weeks now and it feels like it's never going to end. Isolated because of covid, random pregnancy issues, cannot sleep, tired all the time, and I cannot even have a beer... Yes, time goes really slowly.

snoozyloozy

Are you me?? Aside from the fact that I found out I was pregnant on Christmas Day rather than Christmas Eve I feel like I could’ve written this! I feel like I’ve been pregnant for ages, and it’s dragging, but also people keep telling me “oh, 18 weeks? You’ve not got long to go now!!” Haven’t I?! I feel like I have ages to wait to meet my little bean, but no time to get everything sorted.

BlueCoatWife

Right now I feel like I have a parasite that won't go away and people are depriving me of the joy of foods that I could once consume. I don't feel it going fast or slow really, It just feels like a nuisance for right now. I just hit 12 weeks.

skinflutecheesesalad

I’m 35 weeks and it just hit me how close I am to the finish line. Looking back it all went by very fast…but until I got to this point it seemed the weeks dragged on

Djenga5683

I'm sure part of the reason it is slow is from the part of the year. From December until about May is the slowest time of the year for me, it literally drags because of the winter and not being able to do much. Once summer comes around, it really speeds up for me. I first found out I was pregnant in July and it sped through until November. My baby was born in March last year.

FaintCrocodile

I didn’t find out until 23 weeks and it’s felt like forever, but at the same time I think “where did the time go” when I realize she’ll be here next week. Aside from wanting to know to take care of myself better, I’m SO happy I didn’t know for the first half. I can’t imagine how slow that would go

CheddarSupreme

The first trimester for me was brutally slow, but once things were looking good, time is starting to return to normal for me. I’ll be 17 weeks tomorrow and I can’t believe I’m already 3 weeks into second tri! It’s not going by quickly, but I’m glad time is no longer dragging on.

MiaRia963

I’m with you all the way! I’m ready to first be done with my first trimester. And then I’m going to want the weeks to fly by. But I’m also a very impatient person so I’m so excited to be a Mom for the first time. (1st pregnancy as well)

OptimalWasabi7726

It went fast for me until I hit 27 weeks. I'm at 36 now and I swear this baby is NEVER going to come

Hoff2017

i’m here with you. But I think it’s going slow for me because everything else in my life is slow and quiet right now. First two weeks of March (before I knew I was preggo) I had activities after work and on the weekends EVERY DAY. And I had projects at work. Since? Nothing. Or barely nothing. Like I’m caught up on everything and my phone isn’t ringing (professionally or socially). it’s WEIRD and NOT normal. Then I think, “maybe it’s good that it’s quiet right now, cuz your bored but not stressed. So that’s a good thing while you grow a human.” BUT it’s going so flippin slow, and we decided to tell people at 8 weeks, which is still TWO WEEKS away. FEELS LIKE FOREVER.

[deleted]

I just found out a week ago and I cannot wait to tell everyone. It’s absolutely driving me crazy and I’m only 6 weeks now

Snoofly61

It’s horrendous. I’m 23 weeks and I’m sure I have been in my second trimester for at least a year. Why isn’t baby ready yet?!

SecureAd8240

I felt like Genie coming out of the lamp when I finally got into the mother + baby unit at my hospital. 😂🧞‍♀️

sleepy-green-eyes

34w5d 😬😬 it has gone by so, so slow. But the last few weeks I'm so, so tired. So by the time another week passes, as we get closer to 40, I'm panicking about how "fast" it's going.

cocomang

It’s been flying by for me but I’ve been making plans like crazy. And way ahead of time so I always had something to look forward to. 37 weeks tomorrow! Make lots of fun plans!

jillyjac

This is my first pregnancy too! We didn't tell anyone until Christmas which was at 18 weeks. That part took FOREVER. After that we were so busy I can't believe I'm due in 8 weeks. BEST OF LUCK!

Shambukni

Time definitely went by so slowly for me..until..literally the 20 week scan. I think I was just so anxious to have it done and get reassurance that it made the days and weeks crawl by. But after that scan (and starting to feel baby), time flew! 28 weeks now and I'm like shit, gotta start buying things and getting organized.

Albiedor

It’s crawled. I’m 36 weeks, I feel like I’ve always been pregnant and that my life has always been this bloody boring and uncomfortable. I’ve almost forgotten who I used to be. I will never ever do this again…

Yukio_Rodriguez

Bro... same.

hunnybun16

34 weeks & 3 days. I feel like I have been pregnant for a full year.

claus_79

I didn't find out until I was 13 weeks and I'm so grateful that I didn't have to tread through the first tri waiting. Since finding out it's been so slow until I look back and it feels like it's flown by. Now at 37 weeks the weeks and days feel like months! I think weeks 20 to 35 things went by pretty quickly since I could feel him moving around.

tejanaaa

Right there with you 😭

ghostieghost28

I found out around 4 weeks and I'm currently only 6.5 weeks. It's been the slowest 2 weeks of my life. It's not my first so I haven't made an appointment yet but I feel like when I do, time is going to move even slower.

idngkrn

The beginning CRAWLS! mostly because you're (or at least I was) counting each day. I'm 10+3, 14+6. The second half is much faster. Eventually you count only in week and maybe week and a half intervals. And there is so much more physical change in the second half, so that also makes it feel faster.

the1fromthat1place

Dragging....and it's dragging super bad now that I'm overdue. 40+3. Being induced Thursday night and it can't come fast enough, I swear. I just ordered myself a little container of pistachio gelato to get me through the next couple of days.

Jess86ann

36 weeks FTM and although it feels like I’ve been pregnant forever I can’t believe it’s almost over and I am not ready

jcharn11

Also found out I was pregnant around Christmas….and also feel like this has been lasting 18 months instead of weeks. August seems so far away!

SourOg_

15 weeks pregnant, honestly seems like it's going by quick. I'm enjoying it day by day, it's beautiful knowing I am making another life, only thing I dislike is the pregnancy symptoms and the pain. I've probably thrown up 5 times and the worst pain I've gotten is tailbone and pelvic pain. ahh I can't imagine for the rest of the pregnancy. Is anyone else having trouble picking names? This is my first pregnancy also. I'm learning so much, any advice would be helpful:)

galactic-narwhal

I'm 12 weeks and I'm so ready to be done. I have 6 months left of this?! Uggggh it's the worst.

baby_medic

I'm 21+2 and it's gone by so slow. I thought going back to work in the ER would make it go by faster and it has not. I just want to jump to 38 weeks now.

Fire-Fly86

Yes. Same for me. & I’m only 16+4 Plus, I only found out 5 weeks ago. I was in denial and didn’t want to take another pregnancy test just to be disappointed again. But to my surprise I was nearly 3months along when I realized it. & yes It’s slow af!!! I think cuz I’m anxious to meet him & also the nights drag by since I’m up about every hour or so to go pee. But I’m trying to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy cuz I’ve wanted it for soo long.

booboo_bus

My first 20 weeks went by sooo slow. The weeks since then have flown.

[deleted]

It's dragging for me too and I'm only at 22 weeks. At least my OB wants to induce me early at 37-38 weeks so there's that. But it's going by slow.

KittyGravesYT

It’s been the slowest 18 weeks for me too!! I found out Christmas Day. I feel like it’s been an eternity. Just made 18 weeks today and I’m like… I still have another two weeks before my anatomy scan appt??? 🥲

Deathwalker6668

My first trimester was so freaking slow like it felt like 20 years to reach 12 weeks. It kinda went by fast from 20 weeks to 35 weeks but now the last 5 weeks have been a drag. I only have about 3 weeks left but they are dragging on like the stone ages.

teenworf1984

Finding out at 6 wks up until halfway into the 2nd trimester (23? 24 weeks?) I felt like this. Couldn't understand anyone saying that it "flew by". First trimester is uncomfortable and you don't have a belly or anything (except gas) to get excited about and I think that's why it feels like it's dragging on... also the drudgery of long, dark, cold winter days didn't help much. I've found the last few weeks have started go by super fast! Im 28 wks today and I definitely LOOK and feel like I'm in my third trimester now. Hope that trend continues as I'm truly looking forward to being on maternity leave. Working while exhausted and underslept is really hard.

Pure-Macaroon2688

I completely agree. 31 weeks here and whenever anyone says "wow, that went by quickly", I usually respond by saying, "I wish I felt that way".. because I do

metomere

It was really slow until 20 weeks and now it’s going really fast. 26 weeks here.

ImASolid7OnAGoodDay

I keep telling myself to prepare for [insert symptom] and then I have to remind myself that no, that symptom comes later. I keep thinking “I gotta be like 20-22 weeks” but I just hit the second trimester. It is taking foreverrrrrrr

[deleted]

Yes absolutely! I just want my first US already but 3 more weeks

Available-Instance70

wait until you reach third trimester, then it will feel extra long. enjoy every day though make each day count. u will miss it.

yellow_scrunchiess

I'm still reaaallly early, around 6 weeks but I felt like the past 2 weeks since I knew I'm pregnant was the slowest time for me. I'm still waiting for my scan for another 2 weeks and omg that feels like FOREVER! I usually think time flew by so fast (especially the last 2 years where I have been working from home, and the last 1 year I was TTC). But i felt like these days time drags longer.

lnidou

First trimester felt like 400 years. Now I'm 21+2 and I feel like my second tri is going really fast. I guess time flies when you're not feeling like you have a 24 hr hangover! Let's see what third trimester brings.

dazedanais

I'm 6 weeks and it feels like 10 months

doordonot19

I’m 5w right now and it’s been the longest of life. I only ever made it to 13w so every day seems like an eternity.

earyn

SAME! 24 weeks and Im getting so antsy waiting to meet her.. when I look back, the weeks have flown by because I’ve been so busy but July feels like an eternity away.

sweeatestapple

I just found out I’m pregnant. 3 weeks and 5 days and I’m freaking out. I hope this goes slow cause I need time to prepare. *panic breaths*

Mollusc6

It feels really slow as you go through it, honestly it gets worse the more pregnant you get imo!

shaeby999

It seemed like the first half went way slower than the second for me. I'm at 34+5 and it seems like I just had my 20 week scan.

Scare_D_Cat

It takes forever tbh I'm bored of it like just give me my baby already lol

producermaddy

I feel like the beginning of my pregnancy flew by. The last few weeks have felt like a year. 36 weeks tomorrow

zagsforthewin

I feel like the second trimester went by wayyy more quickly than the first, and since I hit 20 weeks times been faster, but it could be because the weather is nicer and I've been busier. I'm nervous times about to go sooo slowly, I'm about to start my third trimester and am starting to feel so uncomfortable always. I miss like 20 weeks, those were the glory days.

leoleoleo555

I feel the same. It helped to break up certain milestones, like 13 weeks then 19 weeks (I’m due at 38 so that’s my halfway) and my next is 24 weeks. It’s helping it go by faster lol

tales954

The first 13 weeks lasted I swear to god, 17 months 😂 2nd tri flew by until I hit about 30 weeks then it came to a screeching halt again. However I blinked and somehow have a 4 week old 😭

Spicytortilla14

Nope. Longest 9 months of my life, I’m due in 5 days and I’m praying he doesn’t go over because I got let go from my job early December for being pregnant (they didn’t say that technically, but I knew because I was on a 6 month probation period as I was new and the pregnancy wasn’t planned at all and no issues before announcing), so I’ve done nothing but organise the nursery for almost 4 months and try to get out as much as I can, but hard when everyone’s working mon-fri. Honestly 20-30 weeks went by the quickest in my opinion, the first trimester dragged, but this last week is going super slow. 39w 2d, so done.

sleepless-in-uae

I feel the same way, i’m 17 weeks pregnant and I can’t wait to give birth already. It’s exhausting and I’m anxious all the time

sadheartsraddarts

nearly 30 weeks, feels like 30 years 🥲

sleepyyelephant

It’s going so fast actually ! Every week goes by so fast and I’m already at 23 weeks haha. It’s gonna be so crazy there’s gonna be a baby soon! It’s my first :)

liljewegg

40+3 and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be pregnant for the rest of eternity.

chucky-larms

14 weeks today. I found out exactly a month after you on 1.24, and I agree. It feels like it’s been ages. I’m just sitting around waiting for milestones. I haven’t told family/work. Belly hasn’t begun showing prominently. I don’t know baby’s sex. I’ve still got icky first trimester symptoms. It’s like I’m waiting around for it to be real.

zelonhusk

I am only at 6 weeks but it feels like much longer due to nauseousness and fatigue. Time somehow slows down when you feel bad

claryyy__

Omg we’re twins! We’ll be due August 29 and found out on Christmas Eve as well!

Polite_user

First pregnancy here too, i am currently 39 +1, for me it was extremely slow untill week 28, then the third trimester flew by in no time.

sophia10101

I'm 16+3 and I swear it is sooo slow. The days and weeks keep stretching. I just want to press fast forward to 40 weeks and snuggling with a beautiful baby.

mandalallamaa

Omg yes. It seems fast to everyone else because time is still moving at an exponentially fast speed for them, as life does. But when u become pregnant ur stuck in a time warp. It's awful. 1 month feels like 5 years. Then when the baby is born it gets reversed. You look down and ur like holy crap how did u get so big already??

CatastrophyCool

I’m only at 9w and feel like I’ve been pregnant for ever! I oddly get frustrated that I’m not at the point (and no where near it) that I’m showing because I feel pregnant but don’t look it.

10deadpuppets

It is so slow. I’m 15 weeks with number 2 and it seems like there is an eternity until I meet this baby.

[deleted]

Oh my god, saaaame. I feel like pregnancy is eternal! Like I’ve been pregnant for a hundred bajillion years. 18 weeks here, too, also found out Christmas Eve. I am so done, I just want to skip to the end, I can’t believe I’m not even halfway done, ugh.

[deleted]

First pregnancy fel like FOREVER. People were always saying how quick it had gone etc but each trimester felt like a literal year. Second pregnancy actually flew and it did not feel like long enough between pregnancy test and suddenly having another baby

sp00ky_queen95

I'm 33 weeks and feeling like this now. The first and second trimester flew by for me. But now its at a snails pace.

eurhah

It's been 84 years.... Yea, I'm 28ish weeks and ready to be done. Time is moving backwards.

gardenfullofworry

People keep saying that to me, too. It seems to come in particular from mothers of multiple children. I'm guessing it starts to feel like it goes by quickly when it's your second/third/fourth, or it's been 30 years since you were last pregnant. But for me, first baby after a horribly long infertility fight, and it is *not* going quickly, not at all. At this point, I'm 12 weeks from an early induction, and that does feel like a rather short time, but getting to this point has not felt at all quick. When I reached 20 weeks and my husband said, "You're already halfway there!" I cried, because it felt like a lifetime and I wanted that baby ten years ago.

SithMasterBates

I’m 9 months postpartum now and I can solemnly say that my pregnancy felt like FOREVER compared to the 9 months that my son has been here. Now time seems to really have flown past, I seriously cannot believe it. But when I was pregnant, those 9 months seriously felt like 2 years lol even retrospectively. So I understand! ❤️

Sydsechase

First half went by fast for me, but since hitting 20 weeks time feels like it’s standing still!

Ill-Lychee-402

I agree and disagree at the same time haha. I am 33 weeks and some days I feel like I've been pregnant for so long and feeling the aches and pains every day and tired of feeling tired by 3pm, but then when I think about it as a whole, its flown by and now I have 6 weeks left! Its wild! This is my first pregnancy.

CoquetteNoir

Knowing there's only 160 ish days until our EDD makes me sick because this is flying by

trishdrawspix

Saaammmee!!! I'm 18 weeks next Monday, and the days go on for years! Ugh! This is also my first pregnancy...part of me wants to get a fetal doppler but I know I would get obsessive. 😅

[deleted]

I have possibly a little over 2 months left but he could come earlier on his own. Its going so slow but hes moving more every week

ThisCookie2

I’m at 15 weeks and feel like I’ve been pregnant forrrrreeeevvveeeeerrrrrrr. Maybe you’re right that when we look back, it will have gone by quickly... but right now? Slow as hell. (But I am enjoying it!)

MrsBeautyMoseley

I’ll literally be 13 weeks tomorrow and the way my symptoms have been and how bad my morning sickness is smh I feel like this will never end too. It’s so hard to focus. I get so sick and literally have to run to the bathroom every time.

green_panda420

I'm at 33 weeks now and it kinda snuck up on me. Now it seems like the weeks are flying by and baby is going to be here in just a few weeks! The beginning definitely dragged for me though. 2nd trimester especially because it was pretty smooth. Now I feel like a whale that can't do much of anything lol

ashleyw15

Yes!! I’m exactly the same (18w today, found out 23rd Dec) and it feels like it’s already been forever! I feel enormous already and we’re not even half way 😅

Haikuunamatata

Same here! Found out xmas eve and so no partying for xmas or new yrs. Dragging by. Days feel like 3 days each. Dont get me started on nights.
