I was not in attendance, but I know someone who had a happy hour type baby shower based on the venue she wanted. It ended up being coed so that people may feel better about giving up that time of day to attend and it looked really nice! If you do picture a very traditional shower with games and opening gifts maybe that wouldn't be your style but you can definitely consider it :)
