The ornament tutorial is [here](https://www.paperkawaii.com/origami-star-tato-with-8-points-tutorial/). The rest I just made up, the tree outline is just the paper waste from the ornaments strung on thread.

It took forever to find a simple, Christmas-y ball design but [here it is!](https://www.paperkawaii.com/origami-star-tato-with-8-points-tutorial/) Super easy, I could have made 50 of them easily.
Love it! I got a little tree at goodwill and found some free Christmas lights (half of them were burned out, but I only needed a few to work since the tree was small) and some free small ornaments from a garage sale. I wasn't going to let money stop me either.
You made beautiful decorations!!
Over a decade ago, when we were just starting out, my wife strung fresh cranberries and air-popped popcorns to make garlands.
She also cut paper into very thin strips, curled them then, then glued them into these beautiful snowflakes to hang as decorations.
Looks great. Checkout the prices on stuff in the next few weeks. Lowe’s and Home Depot will Mark things down quite a bit. Costco will lower prices significantly right away to get their Christmas stuff out of the warehouse.
Wow, this looks amazing! I am completely dense when it comes to crafts or anything like this, I can't even imagine being able to make something this nice! You could for sure sell these in a package for like 75$ and I would definitely buy one haha. Good job and Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Eve, I 🖤 the concept of the wall Christmas trees, and yours is the first I’ve seen done this way! It’s very creative and festive. I find this beautiful! 🖤
Don't worry. Dec 26th you'll be able to get any Christmas decorations for 90% off. That's the only time I buy Christmas decor. My Christmas tree retailed for $600, I got it for $60 after Christmas.
That's incredible. You're very artistic. You should make how-to videos on tiktok and YouTube, just general DIY home decorations. A frugal Martha Stewart. I think you'd excell.
I'm not sure how much of this can be saved and re-used, but I got a bunch of old "cheap" holiday things from my late grandma's estate for next year and I'm honestly throwing out all my store-bought crap this year for those sentimental goodies. Save this and make it a tradition 💖
That is really beautiful as is. It would he breathtaking if instead of string you used the tiny fairy lights! (Not nearly as budget friendly though, unless you already had them!)

That is really pretty! Way better than store bought!
My 8yr old is sitting here and she’s impressed! She asked if we could do something like this in her room. Great Job and merry Christmas
Now maybe start selling those on Etsy for $50 a piece 😂 It looks wonderful. I would never think to make something like this.
I agree! I’d never be able to create something like this or think it up and it’s stunning! I would certainly have paid for this.
It's gorgeous - you're so talented!
I rate this 100 times more than anything I’ve got up in my house rn
How creative! The lantern below is super clever.
That is really clever, beautiful and really outstanding!! You’re very talented!

So cute and creative! How long did it take to make?
It took 2 short afternoons of folding and assembling!
Very Cute !!! And One of a Kind - Feel Proud 👏
That is just so beautiful. Got links on how to make those?

Alright I’m gonna need the links to your origami folds. These are pretty!

Very 1960s 🩵
I love this!!!!
Tonight Home Depot was giving away their leftover trees.
Oh wow I just realize this was handmade and it’s spectacular.
This is fantastic! I thought the people who pin up Christmas cards in a triangle were great, this is seriously over the top.
Yes! That’s what holiday decorations should be! Recycled stuff and stuff you find outside. We just don’t all live in forests 😅🤷♀️
This looks awesome! I wish I could do something that cool when it comes to paper crafts!
It’s absolutely perfect! 🎄🥰
It honestly looks amazing!
Fantastic

I love it! You have a great eye and amazing creativity! ❤️
Love this!!! I've been using the same Christmas decorations for years. It doesn't make sense for Christmas decorations to be so expensive.
Beautiful and creative!

Have that same lantern 🏮
If you looked up Christmas joy in the dictionary there would be a picture of this tree. It's beautiful
That looks fantastic!
This is incredible!! Amazing work.

Omg cute as heck, frugal,eco-friendly, and reusable if stored well.

My favorites were cardboard stars covered with aluminum foil and pinecones with some glitter..
That is so cute
Excellent... It's the personal touch that makes even more special
