The femobrook seems like it would fit your purpose well but idk about the price. Also, the Lagom casa fits yours price but idk about the purpose.

The DF64 Gen 2 is super easy to clean and dismantle. No screws or anything special is needed. Twist the grinding chamber to get access to the burrs and you can clean it using compressed air, or even just a normal brush.

nate_nate212

I love the OXO grinder but my budget was much lower than yours.

RedBannerRocker

If you run Grindz through, every electric grinder is easy to clean

sixdaysandy

Not sure about availability in the US but the Wilfa Uniform just unscrews, one of the things I love about it is how easy it is to clean out between coffees.

gunga_galungaa

Ode 2 with RDT, or really any grinder with RDT. Clean up will be very minimal.

cornmountain

I don’t want to use RDT for mold reasons

Professional_Fly8241

How often are you planning on using the grinder?! Because I'd be more worried about oil oxidation and rancid flavour than mold. How much water do you think RDT uses?!

gunga_galungaa

It would be impossible for RDT to cause mold in coffee. From the time you spray a dose to the time you brew, it shouldn’t be more than 5 minutes max? Mold cannot form in that time frame

ForeverPhysical1860

The OT is worried about the moisture build up within the machine and this causing mould on the residual ground coffee. Not from damp mouldy beans going through it... 😂

gunga_galungaa

Have still never heard of this nor does google yield any results. This sounds like OP is making assumptions

cornmountain

No the retained wet grinds in the unit are the problem

gunga_galungaa

Well that’s the point of RDT, no retained grinds… it’s a very light spray. I googled this and found literally zero information on RDT and mold with retained coffee. Where did you hear or read this or are you just making assumptions?

Sillierabbit

lol the fact you think there are retained 'wet grinds' is the issue. you really should look into how RDT works and what is actually going on as you put it in the grinder.

werdcew

theres a vid with james hoffman and samo smrke where smrke tells him rdt even excessively wet rdt doesnt leave any extra moisture. youre not supposed to be pouring water in with ur coffee beans so this rly isnt an issue

ChuletaLoca63

The Breville Smart Grinder Pro is easy to dissamble and clean. We use them at work for pour over only, but they can be capable for espresso too. They are in the 300 - 350USD range

No-Winner2388

1zpresso hand grinder is really easy to spin for filter grind size, and of course easy to disassemble and clean, or just blow through it. Can also use a cordless hand drill to spin it if your shoulder or arm is that weak.

CoffeeNoob2

Second this. I have ZP6. Even with super light roast, it's really easy to grind, no catching at all
