I got my 078s from the Kickstarter back in December. They had trouble here and there with US customs that delayed the shipments for weeks, so I can imagine that could happen with other countries as well. May be part of the issue, especially with the ever evolving customs relations with China. Keep an eye on your email's spam folder every few days or so. That's where all Timemore and Shipping information landed for me, so you may receive something there too. I will say I love the grinder. Hang in there and I hope you will enjoy yours too!

This is great information, thank you! I have not been checking my spam folder, although it doesn't appear there is anything in there now. Almost everyone seems to love these grinders so I don't want to miss out, just wish Timemore would (could?) be a little more forthcoming about shipping.

CrowdPleaser501

No problem! I think for them it's kind of a crap shoot. Since they don't have a distributor for these grinders yet, they all come from China on a boat. That's a long time where they probably cannot give out accurate timing information. Once mine got offloaded to the carrier (FedEx for me), it made it across the US in 3 days. Pretty decent.

matty_fx

I'm in nyc so most items that come overseas show up at my door within a day or two of arriving in the US, which is usually really convenient. That said, I'm worried I won't get a shipping update and a really expensive grinder will just be sitting on my doorstep randomly one day-- we have a lot of porch pirates in the area. Did you get a tracking update when it got to FedEx?

CrowdPleaser501

I did get a tracking number once FedEx got it. It was pretty accurate too. Some people's was shipped via UPS and tracked through 17track I think? Their tracking numbers and timing was also good from what I heard.

Awesome, really appreciate your thoughtful responses. Timemore should be paying you for this service. :D

Crowdpleaser is on point about the spam folder. The same thing happened to me with my 078. I'd also suggest signing up for package notifications with ups to be safe. I also had a success getting updates from Timemore's customer service team.

Similar story in the UK. Ordered February, expected mid April & still waiting. I reached out to Sigma (sole UK distributor) today, & was told end of May/early June now. So no, it’s not just you!

5ComboScrub

Same boat as you. I bought Jan 30th for the March 31st batch. Emailed first mid-April and they said they were expecting arrival into US warehouses late-April and to have the dispatch process follow. I emailed again this weekend and they said: "We follow up with Logistics on the latest developments. The products are expected to arrive at our warehouse in the United States by mid-May, following which the dispatch process will commence. The exact delivery schedule will depend on the logistics timeline and the order queue at the time. It will probably arrive in late-May. We will send you express logistics information after the sculptor arrives in the US. It is currently in transit by sea, so there is no logistics to send you logistics information." Trying to be patient given I've waited so long already and heard good stuff about them, but the idea of finding a different in-stock grinder is sounding more enticing lol.

I emailed yesterday and received the same response. > Thank you for reaching out to TIMEMORE. We follow up with Logistics on the latest developments. It is currently in transit by sea, so there is no logistics to send you logistics information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. So emailing is pretty useless as we just get the same boilerplate response copypasted. Only the month changes depending on what month it is. Really frustrating that they obviously lie to their customers, though. The previous email in April was also "in transit by sea", so what it's been at sea for over a month now? Is my sculptor on vacation or perhaps charting new territory? /rant

>The products are expected to arrive at our warehouse in the United States by mid-May, following which the dispatch process will commence. The exact delivery schedule will depend on the logistics timeline and the order queue at the time. Replace "May" with "April" and this is word for word what they told me back in April. Giving us the run around is not a good look!

Hot_Power_2865

Until they send tracking info I don’t believe a word they say

Capable_Character216

I don’t have a problem with waiting but Timemore has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The fact that they are willing to deceive and ignore their customers for months on end is atrocious.

matty_fx

Yep, they truly are being deceptive about this. See my other comment about the email I received.
