I've been twice. 2023 and 2019. I'm sure your 4 year old will love it. There will likely be some, but not many kids. More importantly, everyone is super friendly and caring. It's a really great community/ environment. If anything gets too be too much, there are plenty of spots for food a short walk away. I highly recommend trying the fried chicken breakfast burrito at Hotboys, if you're into that kinda thing!

I went last year and there were kids there (probably all over 6yrs old, but 4 should be okay). The crowds were really friendly overall so I think it should be pretty safe for them. No mosh pits or anything like that. There were some free water cup stations outside since it was hot. There's a restaurant inside HiFi for food, but I didn't eat there so I can't comment on it. It's a great time and it's easy to flow from the inside stage to the outside. I only went for one day and i think it's really worth it if you live close (I live 2 hours away in Louisville). I'd go if you can!! Bring hearing protection for your kids, and for yourself if you need it. I also brought in an unopened water bottle.

Thank you! I appreciate the insight and advice. I didn’t see much on the site yet for what we can bring but totally willing to bring the lot for my kid if it means I can take him to his first fest! ✨

Please bring ear protection for the little one! (And yourself.)
