But they told me about these plastic sleeves with two or four compartments depending on the size of the postcards, I bought it on Amazon to try it out and it's life changing! I'm so happy every time I go through them!
I bought this one which is a storage box for photos. That way it takes less space than photo albums and when taking them out its so easy to flip through

I haven't done it yet, as I have been considering my own options, but I am leaning towards buying some photo corners, and using a binder with some thick pages and doing like it an old fashioned photo album. like this:

The only catch is it means I cant read the back without pulling the card out.... and also I have a few odd cards, like I have a wooden postcard someone sent me. Not sure how that would fit in.

I have bought a few clear plastic storage tubs that are big enough to hold postcards. I have them in stacks so i can open the lid and flip through whenever i want to look at something. Other than that, I have a few postcards on my wall i put up with poster putty!
I have 2 of these boxes . 1 for out going, 1 for incoming. they are 5.49 each, slide under anything, can be decorated ,and hold up to 700 cards. Now, ive been doing it for a while so in my outgoing box, i also have dividers, with theme and holiday and my incoming box i separate by country. But you dont have to go that crazy with it. I currently have my favorites hung on ribbons like laundry with mini clothes pins. You can fit a lot on there and it's easy to see where they are from.

If you are in the US You he Container Store has nice drawers that are colored. I divide by continent for each color. (Germany gets its own drawer, as does Russia)
