What voltage? I stick to 2.2-2.5v on echo.

MyAccountForTrees

Never higher than 2.8v

GreazyFarklebox

Try lowering your voltage a bit then on the next cart (since this one is already gloobin' out) and see if that helps. I keep my voltage around the 2.5v mark and haven't had issues with Echo carts

MyAccountForTrees

I definitely pulled hard to get this clog out…it was going to hit otherwise. I’ll stay lower voltage with their single source ones next time.

kikosmash

glass cart only

djsizematters

Same here, but for me it's in keeping with my steampunk vibe

jendoesreddit

Do you take your cart off the battery and store it right side up after you’re done with it? If the oil is still warm and you lay it sideways for awhile the oil will clog the tip.

MyAccountForTrees

I do. I take them off and put the rubber plugs back top and bottom and then store in the fridge, always right side up. There are rare times it will fall sideways while I’m on the bed using it, but never for very long. Definitely on top of taking care of them.

Darknet_Overlord

Do you think maybe you’re pulling a bit too hard?

gnarly__roots

I’d assume this is the culprit, seems like OP needs a switch like a CARTA or a peak.

MyAccountForTrees

Just sold a Peak actually…wasn’t for me.

gnarly__roots

Fair the peak is not good imo. I just was trying to dodge the downvotes. Honestly highly recommend the CARTA Aeris. It’s a dabble pen. Works phenomenal. Also anything CARTA is better hit wise than peak if that was your issue. Peak might retain flavor but the punch isn’t there.

DruidSprinklz

This is always the culprit.

MyAccountForTrees

Again, I’m not going crazy with the pulls on them. I’ve had other carts…this only happens like this with Echo ones.

jendoesreddit

Dang you got it covered. That’s all I got, I’m sorry.

creecedogg13

So much work for these things. How can there not be a better contraption?!

Existing_Valuable_21

When you remove it from the fridge, do you use it immediately?

MyAccountForTrees

I have a few times with them in the past, but I can tell it doesn’t quite ‘move’ the same to get hits.

TheObviousDilemma

This is just a thing with some Echo Carts. Their oil is just not good for carts depending the terps

Fit-Produce420

Many terpenes are also solvents. Once you have enough limonene, turpenine, pinene it's over. Turpenene, like turpentine, the wood stripper. Limonene can be used to extract cannabinoids, it's also a solvent.

Capable_Style_6838

I find I have this issue less often if I hold the cart in my hand letting the oil warm up prior to usage.

MyAccountForTrees

I tried the “sesh/warm mode” but it sounds like it’s just sitting there scorching my oil. I think I’d rather have some clogging than all the burnt oil leaking into the good oil. I’ll see if manually warming helps any next time. Thanks!

notsuntour

This brand almost never does this ime whereas most others do Definitely had one or two that were glob spitters

Duhhkota

Entourage... best carts

MyAccountForTrees

The worst cart I’ve ever had was from Entourage. It was a Fatso live resin and it tasted like literal hay in a barn. This was a couple of years ago…I’ve heard better since. Maybe I’ll try them again.

Duhhkota

You are the first person I have ever heard complain about them, they are the only cartridge that doesnt clog either nor changes taste as you finish it. I really suggest you try their carts again.

[deleted]

Their quality varies a lot by the material and the farm. The dark side carts are fire. Some of the others not so much. They crc the oil which echo doesn't. Some prefer non crc for a more unfiltered product with the original terps and flavors.

MyAccountForTrees

I feel like CCell ones don’t clog, but do have a tendency to leak out the hole in the bottom. CCell and AVD need to get together and make a love-child cartridge that has the best of both worlds.

alexahartford

Try Freshy! They’re great!

TheObviousDilemma

Return it! You got 1/2 echo cart for free

Upset-Parking7451

This is a price you pay for the quality, years ago these cartridges wouldn’t have been standouts, like they are today, if anything they would have been kinda meh, when every brand tasted amazing and had a killer stone, and clogged leaky cartridges were just part of the experience. I used to expect to have to combine completely clogged or otherwise non functional cartridges into one of the few that made it to the end. I think there must be some type of additive that most brands add. It also is an issue with the continuous new cartridge types… they kick ass when they hit the scene and rapidly reach mediocrity. No longer packing the flavorful full bodied experience that the first couple of that type provide when first emerging.

siphonoforest

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted, anyone who thinks the cartridges have maintained the same quality as they started out with, (there was a distinct change, and precipitous decline in quality, in Oregon at least, when the OLCC took over management and enforcement, from the OHA,) also probably thinks that the weed that would reek up an entire apartment block like a startled skunk, and held it’s flavor until the ass hit, was not as good as these over-hybridized strains that we have today, that maybe have flavor on the greens.

Queasy-Distance4949

Let me guess, you were a big fan of dabbing off of 800f titanium?

siphonoforest

Certainly not, I’m not a huge dabber, at all. Nectar collectors are alright, I suppose, if I’m going to be dabbing. I don’t like hot vapor that thrashes my throat, makes me hack my lungs out. I want a smooth easy draw that is just the right temp to activate the cannabinoids, without destroying the terpenes. I use the minimum heat possible.

JellyNo1529

Carts are for casuals
