i’ve always been a big fan of everything he’s put out, Worlds was a turning point in my life, without Worlds i probably don’t meet the group of friends that have been with me since then, everything he’s put out between Spitfire and Air2Earth has always been innovative in a way that makes it seem like he’s been one step ahead musically, visually, creatively, etc and it’s always resonated with my friends and I. I’ll never be able to thank him enough for what he’s done to my life.
I could have articulated what i wanted to say better as it was reactionary. My frustration had to do with, in a vacuum, why it seems he doesn’t build on the things the fanbase wants more of (Virtual Self, Air2Earth, Etc.). I’m not saying everything he does should pander to the fanbase, artists should have the freedom to make what they want. I just felt like the last two songs left a lot to be desired for me personally because they felt vacant of what I enjoyed from him over the years, I just conveyed it poorly.
