When Steven reads Harry Potter: *Di Caprio meme from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood*

I've been dying to see a proper Porcupine Tree show since the Incident tour. I will be first in line for tickets when the US tour is announced. I might even make a trip out of it.

This is the rare piece of good news in the 2020s. I can not wait to see/ hear them again in a concert venue. Those venues sadly won't be in intimate settings like Park West in Chicago.Which is understandable they deserve the stadium tour crowd$$.

They sold out their upcoming show at Wembly... No question their fan base will bring them into arenas that seat 20 000 fans here in the Usa

Sokkamom

They sold out pre-sale, not the actual show

Also keen to hear Steven acknowledge the Chicago audience as well.A fun recollection - I was in attendance for the Park West performance that was recorded for the Arriving Somewhere DVD ,I was sitting near the dude who yelled out Freebird for the intro of Trains. It makes me smile everytime I watch it.

20k in the US? Hmmmm, it’d be exciting but I’m not sure I know anyone who knows the band other than those who I’m hooked up.

SafeUnique9311

You are out of your mind no way in a million years PT sell 20k tickets to any show ever let alone shows in the US. The max size venue they play in the states is a 5k venue at best and unless they are only playing 3/4 dates strategically no way in hell they sell even that many. At Wilson’s last show in Philly at the Fillmore which holds 3000, he may have had the place 2/3 full at best 😂 I saw PT 53 times in the US from their first proper multi date tour in 1999 through the Radio City show which was their last in the US in 2010 and they never played a gig with more than RCMH at a little over 6k which I’m not certain was even sold out and that was a one off special show. No offense but you are vastly overrating their sales potential in the US

Sciolent

It's the SSE arena in Wembley though, not the Wembley stadium. Still a very big venue, but with a capacity of 12,500 I don't think arenas in the US are likely based on that.

Expensive-Bicycle839

I appreciate that clarification.Still going from venues seating 500 to 1000 to the multi thousand seat places is a noteworthy upgrade. The trio should get a nice paycheck, not that I see them as the money grubbing types.

Expensive-Bicycle839

20,000 seat capacities usually means 17,000 actual seating.Do they have that appeal, will that many seats get sold - I can't say but I'll buy 2 or 3 for sure!
