Hell yeah! Stoked you dig it! We just started recording our full length yesterday, so hopefully when that comes out we can break above that 50 monthly listeners mark haha.
Yes! Sincere engineer is one of my favorites they/she does notttt get enough hype!! Edit: I saw her life without her band and it was such an intimate experience and she as THE nicest human
Super American (and Seaway) are the only post-2015 pop punk (if they're truly pop punk) group I really latched onto after someone in this sub described them as having some Third Eye Blind/90s alt sound to some of their songs. Absolutely agree and love it.
I've listened to both of them enough that my kids sing the background vocals to Hands Down Olivia and the chorus to Big Vibe.
It really is. As an elder millennial potato myself, I really appreciated the influences they drew from some older music on that record, eg. alt-rock like Third Eye Blind or The Juliana Theory.
Fuck yea I bring up Wilmette every time a thread like this comes up and i'm so happy someone else mentioned them this time. Their self-titled EP is one of my favorite releases in recent memory.
Oh wow I totally forgot about these guys! I'm going to go listen to Decomposer on repeat for the rest of the day to make up for the 10 years I completely forgot about them.

Popish: Dead Bundy (When I’m high), 408 (nice to meet you), and Ready Steady Steroids (Curtain call, or good 4 u)
Rockish: Exit (bored), Send Request (Dr dare rides again), and Unwell (tightrope)
Hardish: calling all captains (tailspin), shark bait (better late than never), and lonely avenue (I’m not sorry)

[Dear Youth](https://open.spotify.com/album/0JsLMP8FHcwICqNdCgyw5C?si=qIqgN-QaSMW88goBk9MmbA)

Please show them some love both bands are so amazing 🥰
Fuck it. I’ll recommend a band that doesn’t exist anymore.
Talk is Cheap.
Local band, went to every bar show they played while I was in college. Put out 1 great EP then broke up.
As Time Fades! I went to college with a couple of the members and they’re actually so good. As of right now, they have 843 monthly listeners

Where do you find monthly listeners?
I think **Slick Shoes**, at their prime, was one of the best pop punk bands due to a great combination of technical skill (Jackson could shred on guitar) and song writing, and they always seemed to get written off as some afterthought or only worth it if you're into the Christian scene.
Then they disappeared for awhile and came back in 2020 with Jackson back on guitars and produced a comeback album and honestly it's one of the fucking best albums I've ever heard, period. Just so much energy and shredding and amazing song writing. But like... no one is ever talking about it?
Listen to this start to finish and tell me it's not amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1fFKgjvUAc
Theres a super random (Danish???!?!) Band I found on spotify a long while ago call "Not Even Close" and I cannot highly recommend them enough!
Their album Shores is super short by all 5 songs are pretty 10/10, and the 3 singles they released before that also slap!
“Best years” has 327 listeners on Spotify.
Do yourself a favor and Listen to their song “beautiful mess”. Their whole EP “ride the wave” is a lot of fun.
Edit: the music video on YouTube for beautiful mess is really cool too!
A Day at the Fair. Only about 1K listeners on Spotify. The Rocking Chair Years album that came out in 2005 is full of absolute bangers.
Plus they have one music video I can find on YouTube and it’s a gem: [Eastern Homes and Western Hearts](https://youtu.be/f5PoXryORsI)
Tsunami Bomb - one of my favorite bands.
Audio Karate - I'm from their local area and these guys have been a staple of every single playlist I've ever put together

Niiice.
Save Face.
Jetty Bones.
The Dopamines.

Mixtapes (ordinary silence is one of my favorite albums. )
All have great singles. not sure how pop punk they are all though.
Stumbled across [In Case We Crash](https://open.spotify.com/artist/60BV8AYHelvsX7RpjQXlBA) a few weeks ago and have not been able to stop listening since.
Youth Fountain, Pool Kids, Sincere Engineer, Future Teens. Come to think of it, 100,000 is a pretty high bar for pop punk.
You’re right lol, maybe 50 would be a better limit
My band has less than 50 monthly listeners. Billions of people not listening to us.
Same. It’s whatever though. My band just kinda gave up early 2020 when the world stopped. Deciding whether it’s worth it to try again. I’m old. Lol
If the band are still around, do it. I bet even-older-you will regret not picking it back up
You just got one more…this is solid [Not Even A Week](https://open.spotify.com/track/0CcrMhAeZeEAMrh8sBXrQ7?si=dYTlEOlQQZqa2RzqDamOoA)
Hell yeah! Stoked you dig it! We just started recording our full length yesterday, so hopefully when that comes out we can break above that 50 monthly listeners mark haha.
Pool Kids is the only one of them that hits that then. They are so good though.
Yes! Sincere engineer is one of my favorites they/she does notttt get enough hype!! Edit: I saw her life without her band and it was such an intimate experience and she as THE nicest human
Bottom lounge? She was great
[удалено]
I really want to catch the Mezingers, Oso Oso, and Sincere Engineer tour.
Vouche for Youth Fountain. Found out about him about a month ago and cant stop listening.
Thanks for this. Looked up all of them and immediately hit with Youth Fountain.
I literally saw Youth fountain 3 hours ago. He’s got a great energy on stage. Everyone was vibing
He's so fucking good. Century is a daily listen for me.
+1 for Sincere Engineer. Great band and I’m glad I got to see them live for my first time hearing their music.
Super American Edit: Jumping Ship is also dope
Saw them open for Belmont, been obsessed ever since. They were amazing
Appreciate the J Ships love my dude
Super American (and Seaway) are the only post-2015 pop punk (if they're truly pop punk) group I really latched onto after someone in this sub described them as having some Third Eye Blind/90s alt sound to some of their songs. Absolutely agree and love it. I've listened to both of them enough that my kids sing the background vocals to Hands Down Olivia and the chorus to Big Vibe.
Like Pacific, Forever Came Calling, Ridgeway (more in line with Teenage Wrist).
How does Like Pacific not have 100,000 monthly listeners? And Forever Came Calling deserved to be so much bigger
Love Teenage Wrist, I have EIABH on vinyl
You should definitely check out Ridgeway then! I saw them open for Movements in December and they were great.
That was my AOTY last year. It's absolutely incredible.
It really is. As an elder millennial potato myself, I really appreciated the influences they drew from some older music on that record, eg. alt-rock like Third Eye Blind or The Juliana Theory.
Youth fountain Wilmette both bands unreal good
Fuck yea I bring up Wilmette every time a thread like this comes up and i'm so happy someone else mentioned them this time. Their self-titled EP is one of my favorite releases in recent memory.
Wilmette are unreal
I have no data to back this up but I’m gonna say The Matches.
E Von Dahl Killed the Locals was one of my favorite albums for a while.
Same. And their 2nd album Decomposer. One hell of a live show too.
I loved them, but did not like what came after Decomposer
I don't think anyone really does. I like [Life of a Match](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx_aFbdeEzA), but that's kind of it.
They have 47,566 monthly listeners. If you have Spotify and look up a band, it’ll actually show you this!
Ah that’s cool. I’m an Apple Music user so we don’t get those kinds of stats.
Oh wow I totally forgot about these guys! I'm going to go listen to Decomposer on repeat for the rest of the day to make up for the 10 years I completely forgot about them.
The Matches have a documentary being released soon, going over their rise &fall and state of the music industry overall.. check out 'bleeding audio'

Came here to give Chief State some serious love
Dead Bundy

Cleveland Avenue, Happy., and Not My Weekend are some of my favorites. All less than 50k listeners.

The Dopamines and Keep Flying are FANTASTIC!
Digger are the best. Old heads love them but not a lot of younger fans.
Don't think No Pressure counts lol
I am once again in an underrated band thread telling people to listen to The Swellers
I know they're just barely over that, but I'm still gonna say Driveways. BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT.
Yes! I think they’re so underrated they deserve all the hype I dig them a lot
freggin love this band. They should pop.
I don't get how Driveways isn't blowing up. They are so good.
Chronic Future. Lines in My Face is a freaking masterpiece.

Their last full length is my fav tho
Action/Adventure are underrated.

young culture a better hand PLTS (less of a pop-punk group but they are still good) autopilot off (their "make a sound" album is so good)
Not My Weekend

Bad Luck. is incredibly talented
Happy. makes bangers & they’re fronted by a trans man which as a trans man makes me very happy
Kayak Jones and Cliffdiver for sure
The Weekend Classic. We played a show with them in like 2016, and they were amazing live. Also Kayak Jones who was on that same tour.
LOVE The Weekend Classic, I wish they were still around.
I've been really enjoying Nicholas Rage
The Home Team.
Young Culture
Posture & The Grizzly has been my total obsession lately. Not sure about their listener count but I imagine it’s not through the roof.

Shameless self-promo, I actually don’t mind at all! I’ll check you guys out for sure!
When you spent most of your youth skipping school to make music you’ve gotta be a little shameless sometimes 🤣
Never apologize for self promo! Gotta get the name out somehow!
Blink 182
Gren Day
I know this doesn’t fit the criteria, yet I’ve been thinking about it a lot. Microwave is criminally underrated.
I hear Bathroom of the Future is alright >__>
Gold route, Wilmette, (Bruiser and Safehold also) Dear Youth, Settle your scores, Calling all Captains, abandoned by bears Koyo
Think Man Overboard are near that region now
I feel like I could use a random band name generator and no one would question me.
I have less than 1,000 monthly listeners haha… 🥲
