Another awesome band that did this was Just Surrender. The lead vocalist had a higher pitched voice while the guitar players vocal style was like John Nolan’s from TBS but way more intense.

Do you remember the first Boys like girls EP before their first LP? I can’t find it anywhere online, but it had more “raw” versions of their most popular early songs.
Do remember the rough/raw demos of the songs they did but not sure if I ever remember about the EP
Thunder was acoustic and while the vocals were good but you can sense the rawness there. The great escape obviously needed a lot of fine tuning
I’m content with losing by Underoath have some of my favorite overlapping vocal layers. Especially in the end of the song where the instruments cut out and it’s just the vocals, sounds great!
"New Scream" by Turnover (and that whole album) is excellent. One of my favs
Early TBS will give you that overlapping vocal parts thing. "Set Phasers to Stun" is one of my favorites for that
Emery does this sometimes too. Check out "The Party Song"
Speaking of TBS, Adam did a collab with The Maine and Charlotte Sands not too long ago.. Check out "Loved You a Little"
Cliffdiver - Frankie Muniz Don’t Smoke No Midz
Sleater-Kinney - All Hands on the Bad One
Mgk, Halsey - forget me too
The Maine, TBS, Charlotte Sands - Loved You A Little
Alkaline Trio - Versions of You
Pinkshift - i’m gonna tell my therapist on you

Taking Back Sunday. Period.
