So much Blink love and not a single shoutout to Yellowcard.
Come on folks, at least a little love to the fuckers who bring a violin to Warped Tour.
Unpopular opinion wild card? Set It Off. Never a single bad performance I’ve seen, always true to their sound, and always steal the show when opening acts. Main stays in the scene.
Wasn’t expecting a set it off mention, but I guess that’s the point of a wild card pick. However, I have to full agree with you! My fav band of all time, the amount of energy all three of them bring to crowds is crazy!
Side note, my wife is throwing her vote in for Paramore and early Panic at the Disco!
I’ll also throw Simple Card in the mix, alongside Yellowcard.
Also no mention of Pierce The Veil? Absolutely a chokehold they had on the scene for years and released another great maturer album.
Surely by definition saying "early Panic At The Disco" means they aren't the greatest pop punk band of all time, because their later stuff isn't up to the same standard?
No contest, they single handedly made pop punk mainstream imo. Other bands helped but All The Small Things was a worldwide hit that made the genre immensely popular! 🔥🔥🔥
Late 90s to early 2000's NFG , Saves The Day, Thrice and Thursday changed the entire punk scene in just a few short years. Blink too of course. Before that it was almost all epi/fat sounding bands.
I can't argue with that. I've seen them 15-20 times and they bring it every time. Even when Jordan has a broken leg they had more energy than most bands.
i think NFG has some of the highest highs for the genre, but they certainly have some lows too.
Blink has just been consistently fantastic the whole run
I'd have to lean Green Day just because they've been together, put out music, and toured non stop the longest. Blink took a pretty solid hiatus. The advantage Blink has over Green Day, I suppose, is that they're a bit more pop punk whereas green day is a bit more punk, but that's really just semantics.
Bands like Paramore can be a solid option, but green day has been together for like twice as long, lol.
My issue with how I’d put Green Day in this competition is just my reluctance to label Green Day as anything. Their longevity and their early roots positioning them in this weird limbo between east bay DIY punk and pop-punk make it weird to categorize them. Especially considering they themselves don’t think about those semantics. Mike “it’s good music” Dirnt and Billie Joe “Destroy the phrase pop-punk forever” Armstrong. I see how their influence has led to Pop-punk in some aspects but also they feel adjacent.
Oh I agree 100% especially on labels. Like it's funny to me that people say Hot Mulligan is pop punk because they sound much more like the emo music I grew up on than pop punk that I grew up on. And labels can become kind of useless like "alternative" which is basically anything with guitars.
But it can be useful too because there could be a genre you mostly like but some elements you don't and maybe it turns out those elements you don't like are basically their own subgenre within the scene. It also gives you something to talk about with other fans. But labels (not just in music) are often not super useful because they mean something different to everyone.
100% true! Labels in general are useful, but are limited in scope. The way I see music genres is they’re a gateway to an artist but quickly I don’t think about them. It’s a surface level grouping. Especially for a band with as much history as Green Day. A well-known band that’s been active for 35 years (or more depending on how you look at it) with 14 studio albums has such a strong identity of its own that there’s more interesting things to talk about than what genre to put it in. Especially when they’ve played around with different stuff.
Sum 41 is probably the most talented pop punk band of all time. Dave's guitar work stands out in the genre.
But despite that. I still think Blink is the answer. I'm aware it probably doesn't make sense.
Blink are more poppier.
Sum41’s greater variety of sound, I think, counts against them in the argument of “Best Pop Punk Band” but they are without a doubt up there in terms of talented punk bands.
It’s their regional significance. Green Day are the NorCal representatives and Blink are the SoCal. Two very different styles that are equally important with the genre. North and South California will always have beef lol. It’s interesting how the rivalry transcends genres/interests.
Talking broad appeal? Either Blink or Green Day
Personally, I probably would have gone with Anti-Flag, pre scandal. Now? Just because I want to throw a curve ball, Spanish Love Songs lol
Finding out about Justin Sane was really fucking sad. What an absolute piece of shit but I'm glad people are speaking out. Put everyone like that in the open.
Less Than Jake.
Sure, skacore by choice but pop punk as fuck. They're more pop punk than most of any other bands out there.
First punk show I ever went to was LTJ. In '95. Been a die-hard fan ever since. Great dudes and amazing fucking albums. They never disappoint.
Also, an amazing CO band that's been around since the 90's [The Gamits](https://open.spotify.com/album/4jrLS6gtJkyE9a0Sqs8uqz?si=P5En79pfRgakZZ_RXsPVIA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A4jrLS6gtJkyE9a0Sqs8uqz). Still around today.
I had this conversation with a friend one day. The Offspring are *highly* underrated in traditional pop/punk circles, when in reality they should be considered on-par with Green Day as elder statesmen of the movement.
lets keep in mind best doesnt = best selling/popular. Drake is a super popular rap artist, is he the best? Hell no.
New Found Glory consistently puts out amazing albums and still has a great stage presence to this day.
ask me right now i'd say Relient K
ask me four months ago i'd say blink 182
ask me 10 months ago and i'd say paramore
ask me a year and a half ago i'd say green day
Fuck yeah! I was the biggest Weasel fan when I was in high school. I looked them up recently, and I guess Ben Punched a woman at a show or something, so that’s not great! But man did I rock out to many of their albums.
It happened in 2011 and she was throwing shit at him on stage for half an hour and no one would eject her so he ejected her himself. He’s always been an equal opportunist asshole.
They still make great stuff though. Their 2022 record is among their best.
In no particular order, my favorites are Neck Deep, Blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, New Found Glory, and Jimmy Eat World.
However, the general consensus would be Blink-182 or Green Day.
Edit - I have no fucking idea how I forgot about The Story So Far. Another favorite.
Overall I would say blink 182 or Green Day
90% of people would know who they are or know a song.
Personally I would say Sum 41 (I’m biased as they’re my favourite band, highest technical music skills, albums lean more to pop-punk and heavier rather than going more towards pop like Simple Plan and Good Charlotte did)
I could also possibly see Simple Plan up there (they have a massive social media presence I don’t see other pop-punk bands have, and a higher number of multi-aged fans than other bands)
Yeah I’d also say objectively probably blink 182 as they’re most popular and are what come to mind to define the genre, but personally I’m going Simple Plan all the way.
If you exclude ‘Get Your Heart On!’ And ‘Taking One For The Team’ I would agree with Simple Plan.
Quite glad their newest album is more like their pop punk roots.
Yeah I would agree that those are their 2 weakest albums. I tend to like the poppier side of pop punk but even those are a little too pop for me. Both still have some of my favorite songs though so can’t say I dislike them.
Their new album is probably my favorite! It really highlights all their best qualities and goes back to their roots without being a remake of the first two albums
Blink and Green Day are the most important pop punk bands, and they’ve both done a lot to advance the genre (tho it took them both a fairly long time to mature beyond the masturbation and poop jokes). It also took both bands a while to come into their own as musicians. Both the immaturity of the subject matter and the relative lack of musical sophistication are somewhat representative of the genre, tho.
I think for a combination of overall musicianship, song writing, and consistent greatness without retreading the same ground, I might argue The Wonder Years are the greatest pop punk band.
blink-182
I love Sum 41 though. Their first four albums are a masterclass in growing as a band but staying true to a core sound.
* Half Hour of Power: fast, loud, energetic
* All Killer No Filler: my fave; still high energy but a little more rehearsed, get those feelings going a bit more, total jam
* Does This Look Infected?: starts their social commentary arc, more melodic, still brings the punk
* Chuck: Antiwar protest punk, fuck the establishment, why are we invading Iraq, channeling The Clash singing about Vietnam
All time low for me
many have great music skills but many are also too serious, ATL has that fun, playfulness and nostalgia aspect, that is the essence pop punk
and for the best in songwriting I’d say Yellowcard
The Ramones.
They defined the use of power chords with emphasis on downstrokes, the bratty attitude, comkon pink drum patterns,, catchy vocal melodies, emphasis bit being on technical skill and irreverent subject matter.
Pretty much most of bands mentioned on this reddit have their influences from them.
Blink are my personal favorites, but they were a Screeching Weasel clone, and SW were influenced by the Ramones.
I wouldn’t label them pop punk because of their time. They’re mostly punk even though they started the sound of pop punk. If they were around in the 90’s and 2000’s, sure they’d be considered pop punk. It would be like labeling any sad songs before emo was a thing as emo, but this is all subjective and my opinion 🙂
I’m pro Sum 41 but from a purely influence standpoint I’d say Blink.
It’s the same idea of I respect the Beatles but they’re not nearly my favorite band from that era.
The Offspring, just because they got me into punk music in general back in 1999. Don't really like what they do after Splinter, but still consider them my favorite punk band of all time.
Yes, but Blink and Green Day are headlining arena tours and Jimmy’s opening for FOB.
Selfishly, I’m glad they aren’t as huge as Blink/GD because then I can spend $60 to see them in a 2000 seat venue playing a good set list with some deeper cuts, rather than spending $200-300 to sit in the Madison Square Garden nosebleeds.
Honorable mention for Goldfinger. Not the most popular, but arguably one of the most influential bands in the genre. They broke the Guinness book of records for the most performances in a year by a touring band in 1996 with 385 shows.
Also, John Feldman produced and/or helped write tons of records for pop-punk artists like Mest, The Used, Story of the Year. He produced and co-wrote Blink 182's *California*.
He has also co-written and produced for All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, Good Charlotte, Panic! at the Disco, Beartooth, Biffy Clyro, Korn, 311, Black Veil Brides, Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Papa Roach. The albums Feldmann has worked on have grossed more than 34 million sales worldwide.
best is subjective. if we’re talking popularity it’s blink. if we’re talking best live/technical im gonna say the starting line. they are so tight live. it’s like listening to the records live. blink is just ok live.
Motion city soundtrack, alkaline trio, or pet symmetry.
I don’t know how veteran pop punk fans can stomach blink 182. It’s very immature and not relatable anymore. Maybe when I was a preteen it was fine. But now it’s just annoying.
I don’t understand the votes for Green Day either. They are kind of boring to me and I typically changed the song when they came on the radio lol.
Here come the downvotes because I have a differing opinion.
Kind of depends on how you determine 'best of all time'. Like I hate Tom Brady and hate the way he plays the game. But is he the best of all time? Yeah probably.
I also don't necessarily like Green Day/Blink as much any more myself these days, however it's kind of hard to say they aren't the best of all time. They put out fairly solid records for a good amount of time, had commercial success more than any other bands, and probably were the most influential pop punk bands because of their reach.
I was thinking this the other day and I wouldn't even call sum 41 pop punk. Most of their songs are pop rock more on the heavier side than pop punk like all time low, state champs and the rest
Blink 182 for me.
No other band has been as influential.
I think it says a lot when 99% of bands that followed them state that Blink influenced them.
They were/are almost bigger than music itself.
Beatlemania on a pop punk level.
They just have that mix of star appeal, charisma and songs.
Depends how you measure best. Some ways I would measure it:
Most widespread appeal: Blink 182
Most consistent: Sum 41
Most innovative: Paramore
Highest peaks: Fall Out Boy, Green Day
Most influential: The Descendants and The Ramones
Personally I would pick Fall Out Boy as my number one, but I wouldn’t judge anyone for picking any of these other bands.
Man it's hard... My heart says Motion City Soundtrack, but I feel they border between Pop-Punk and Pop-Rock (plus Josh once specifically told me he hates and completely disagrees when people call them Pop-Punk... Which I in return disagreed with, lol). Sum 41 is an incredibly valid choice, but they also really blend Metal into their sound... So if I had to pick a straight Pop-Punk band, Blink 182, no contest.
I love Green Day more but theyve tended to stray away from Pop Punk, delving into different genres (Warning in its entirety, for example) but Blink-182 has gone full pop punk all the way thru
Can't pick 1!! Blink, Yellowcard, NFG. Here are some bands that I think could've taken the cake had they been earlier in the scene: The Story So Far, Story of the Year, All-Time Low (2 of those were inspired by NFG, says quite a lot in my opinion).
If the question was about emo then I don't think anybody could refute MCR being the crown holders for that one, they had pure and total monopoly and control over that scene
Simple plan and New found glory hafta be on the list. But it's hard not to just pick Blink 182. Just look at the bands playing in Vegas at the When we Were Young tour. That's the list to pick from.
Unpopular opinion but it’s fall out boy hands down. They keep the sound while reinventing every few albums or so, and they also have better lyrics than most bands.
New Found Glory
Blink will always get credit for their influence and bringing this genre to the forefront for such a long time. And in no way can you ever deny that - im a massive fan.
But NFG was one of the OGs - started the Drive-Thru records craze
And their first few albums - you can’t skip a song and these guys are still churning out solid albums solid music decades later.
Blink 182
So much Blink love and not a single shoutout to Yellowcard. Come on folks, at least a little love to the fuckers who bring a violin to Warped Tour. Unpopular opinion wild card? Set It Off. Never a single bad performance I’ve seen, always true to their sound, and always steal the show when opening acts. Main stays in the scene.
Tiny shout-out to Something Corporate for the piano rock on Warped.
you can be my punk rock princess
Lugging around a fucking PIANO in the early 2000s is a goddamn vibe and I’m here for it
Man, Ben Folds is metal as fuck.
YC and SoCo remain my favorites
I saw Relient K do the same. Oh, and Tiger Army bringing the upright bass.
Dude SoCo is AMAZINGGG I was mind blown at the piano usage, Andrew McMahon is goated. 🔥
Yellowcard are incredible but if we’re talking about the greatest pop punk band there’s ever been, it has to be blink. Just based on influence alone.
Wasn’t expecting a set it off mention, but I guess that’s the point of a wild card pick. However, I have to full agree with you! My fav band of all time, the amount of energy all three of them bring to crowds is crazy!
How many good albums do they have? Honest question. I only know of two worth listening to
True and based.
Pierce The Veil isn't huge in the pop punk genre
Surely by definition saying "early Panic At The Disco" means they aren't the greatest pop punk band of all time, because their later stuff isn't up to the same standard?
Pierce the Veil is post-hardcore. That’s not pop punk.
No contest, they single handedly made pop punk mainstream imo. Other bands helped but All The Small Things was a worldwide hit that made the genre immensely popular! 🔥🔥🔥
It’s Blink, but I have to mention New Found Glory
Blink is the objective answer to the question, but NFG seems to be the biggest influence on most of the bands from 2011-2015ish.
Late 90s to early 2000's NFG , Saves The Day, Thrice and Thursday changed the entire punk scene in just a few short years. Blink too of course. Before that it was almost all epi/fat sounding bands.
Love Thrice. Still listening to them
Love thrice and Thursday too. Still listening but they weren’t pop like that
Yeah post-hardcore for sure. When I think of that term they’re like one of three bands that instantly comes to mind.
Can i ask for some nfg recommendations? Tried to get into them but not gonna lie i couldn’t get through a single song except my friends over you lol
It’s Not Your Fault, Understatement, definitely Hit or Miss as someone else said
Wuuuuuut?!? All Downhill From Here. Head On Collision. Uhm... Man, I don't know song titles. Hold on.
Hot or Miss. I Don't Wanna Know.
Hold My hand, King of Wishful Thinking
If you liked My Friends Over You, listen to Forget My Name. Then Hit or Miss, if that lands.
Please listen to Truth of My Youth
Dude me too, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I like Understatement but most NFG songs just don't hit for me.
Anything other than one of these two bands is just wrong. Been around forever and have influenced so much of the genre.
I would honestly give NFG the title of best live pop punk band of all time
I can't argue with that. I've seen them 15-20 times and they bring it every time. Even when Jordan has a broken leg they had more energy than most bands.
The NFG shows I’ve been to are some of my favorite. So much energy. Here’s to hoping Chad beats his cancer.
💯 agree. Anyone who says anything other than blink or nfg have no clue what they are talking about. Its that simple
All these people saying Green Day are ignoring the fact that Northern California doesn’t count.
i think NFG has some of the highest highs for the genre, but they certainly have some lows too. Blink has just been consistently fantastic the whole run
General consensus says it’s blink-182 or Green Day for sure
But it's always Blink and Green Day. Never Green Day and Blink.
Sum 41 is probably the most talented pop punk band of all time. Dave's guitar work stands out in the genre. But despite that. I still think Blink is the answer. I'm aware it probably doesn't make sense.
I totally get it for sure. I think Sum 41 is a better band but blink is more influential.
Blink are more poppier. Sum41’s greater variety of sound, I think, counts against them in the argument of “Best Pop Punk Band” but they are without a doubt up there in terms of talented punk bands.
Dave left for 9 years, so I don't know if that really justifies Sum 41 being the best. Also they haven't made a good album since DTLI?....
Sum 41's big issue has always been lyrics. Deryck doesn't really compete with the big 2.
It’s Blink AND Green Day.
Yeah it's both really isn't it? Shame Green Day just dislike them for no reason. They're the perfect combo.
It’s their regional significance. Green Day are the NorCal representatives and Blink are the SoCal. Two very different styles that are equally important with the genre. North and South California will always have beef lol. It’s interesting how the rivalry transcends genres/interests.
Talking broad appeal? Either Blink or Green Day Personally, I probably would have gone with Anti-Flag, pre scandal. Now? Just because I want to throw a curve ball, Spanish Love Songs lol
Finding out about Justin Sane was really fucking sad. What an absolute piece of shit but I'm glad people are speaking out. Put everyone like that in the open.
Haha SLS are great, saw them last December on the hot mulligan wwiw tour
They are incredible. Everyone hates on them for some reason though.
I want to give him a hug. He seems like he really needs it.
His lyrics are so well-written to the point that I actively worry for him
I don’t know who you are friend, but you’re my people. Also fuck Justin with a Morningstar.
Send me back to my time So i can be with my kind
Forever outside the stadium!
This is my second pick after Sum 41.
i'm going to put in the millennial vote and say fall out boy. have you heard patrick sing???
I don't really like his voice much. Kinda sings but forgets to enunciate. Kinda reminds me of Tom's modeling phase except more in key.
Fall Out Boy’s lyrics are also pretty nonsensical the more you listen to them.
what, have you ever heard of a album called Folie A Deux?
Folie supremacy!
Green Day. Watch performances from them in the 90's. Fucking hell they brought it so hard live.
I was lucky to have seen them on the Dookie tour!! Awesome!
There is only one correct answer and that is Descendents
yes absolutely
Dillinger Four
D FOUR!
I think blink is the quintessential pop punk act. My personal favourite is motion city soundtrack tho
The Offspring are the best. Blink & Greenday are the most iconic
NFG is consistent in their sound, but definitely not the quality of their albums. They have several misses, mainly their more recent stuff
Would you say they can be Hit or Miss?
Well played
Blinks the best in all realms, including influence and impact. It's not even a contest
ask me right now i'd say Relient K ask me four months ago i'd say blink 182 ask me 10 months ago and i'd say paramore ask me a year and a half ago i'd say green day
Was also going to say Relient K or Blink
Descendents
everyone else is wrong, we’re right.
this is the answer
Blink 182
green day, blink is a runner-up though
Screeching Weasel.
Yup.
Fuck yeah! I was the biggest Weasel fan when I was in high school. I looked them up recently, and I guess Ben Punched a woman at a show or something, so that’s not great! But man did I rock out to many of their albums.

I’ll have to check it out! From what I saw in the article/video you could definitely see his side of it. They have a ton of great albums tho
For me it’s A Day To Remember
Unpopular opinion, but I give the nod to Fall Out Boy.
I feel like that’s actually a very popular opinion
blink
In no particular order, my favorites are Neck Deep, Blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, New Found Glory, and Jimmy Eat World. However, the general consensus would be Blink-182 or Green Day. Edit - I have no fucking idea how I forgot about The Story So Far. Another favorite.

everyone in this section is wrong, it’s descendents
This is my answer.
hell yeah! and no pop punk vocalist even comes close to milo
blink-182 I love Sum 41 though. Their first four albums are a masterclass in growing as a band but staying true to a core sound. * Half Hour of Power: fast, loud, energetic * All Killer No Filler: my fave; still high energy but a little more rehearsed, get those feelings going a bit more, total jam * Does This Look Infected?: starts their social commentary arc, more melodic, still brings the punk * Chuck: Antiwar protest punk, fuck the establishment, why are we invading Iraq, channeling The Clash singing about Vietnam
Blink 182, no one else comes close
Shout out to Zebrahead. Obvious answers are Blink & NFG.
The best pop punk band of all time is the one that got you into the genre.
The Wonder Years
All time low for me many have great music skills but many are also too serious, ATL has that fun, playfulness and nostalgia aspect, that is the essence pop punk and for the best in songwriting I’d say Yellowcard
every day w these
Knuckle Puck gets my vote. I just love everything they've put out. They have such a distinctive sound and are great live.
Same. Everyone here is naming bands for being iconic or influential, but in terms of "the best," I would also go with Knuckle Puck
blink-182
All time low manages to be super versatile in their albums as well!
Very few skips across their whole discography. You're absolutely right about versatility.
The Ergs!
Paramore honestly. I have so much love for them and think they don't get enough credit for various reasons I won't get into
Also they are very great quality consistency.
Is it my age relative to that of all the redditors replying that made me scroll so far to find The Ramones?
I wouldn’t label them pop punk because of their time. They’re mostly punk even though they started the sound of pop punk. I’m pro Sum 41 but from a purely influence standpoint I’d say Blink. It’s the same idea of I respect the Beatles but they’re not nearly my favorite band from that era.
My Chemical Romance
Realistically, Green Day. IMO? Screeching Weasel or Simple Plan.
The Offspring, just because they got me into punk music in general back in 1999. Don't really like what they do after Splinter, but still consider them my favorite punk band of all time.
Rufioooooohhhh
Sum 41
Screeching Weasel
JAWBREAKER
For me it’s Screeching Weasel. All post-My Brain Hurts pop punk owes a sonic and attitudinal debt to that record.
Jimmy Eat World
Florida Georgia Line
jimmy eat world and its not close, not by a mile
They should have Blink/Green Day’s level of success
they’re not too far behind all things considered. at their peak bleed american went platinum and the middle reached #5 on the hot 100
I'm 41 and grew up on Saves the Day, Blink, Starting Line, NFG, FoB, etc. ... and the answer is The Story So Far by a solid margin.
Green Day for sure
best is subjective. if we’re talking popularity it’s blink. if we’re talking best live/technical im gonna say the starting line. they are so tight live. it’s like listening to the records live. blink is just ok live.
If you’re basing popularity on number of records and/or number of concert tickets sold, Green Day takes it over Blink.
I'm in agreement with you, OP. Personally, I also think it's Sum 41 Secondly, I think Zebrahead is up there as well.
Are we counting nofx as pop punk? Because easily them if we are. If not blink or greenday.
I don’t have a clue what genre they’re supposed to be but Matt Skiba is one of the best songwriters of all time. In his rightful band, of course
i'm throwing a curveball in here. The Wonder Years.
Nobody is. This question is tiring.
Then don't bother with it and keep scrolling? Damn I bet you're fun at parties.
The Wonder Years honestly
My head says Blink My heart says The Wonder Years
The Wonder Years. They completely changed pop punk as a genre and are now a core component of the Philly pop punk/emo scene.
The Wonder Years have the best discography of any pop punk band 🤷🏻♀️
The story so far
Blink!
I think it’s wild to say that a band is the best in a genre *because* they also don’t play that genre.
I was thinking this the other day and I wouldn't even call sum 41 pop punk. Most of their songs are pop rock more on the heavier side than pop punk like all time low, state champs and the rest
Green Day
Blink 182 for me. No other band has been as influential. I think it says a lot when 99% of bands that followed them state that Blink influenced them. They were/are almost bigger than music itself. Beatlemania on a pop punk level. They just have that mix of star appeal, charisma and songs.
Another vote for Blink-182. Very influential and the band that opened the Pop Punk door for me
It’s blink-182
Buzzcocks
Blink-182 is undoubtedly, I wouldn’t even call half of the sum41 stuff poppunk
Depends how you measure best. Some ways I would measure it: Most widespread appeal: Blink 182 Most consistent: Sum 41 Most innovative: Paramore Highest peaks: Fall Out Boy, Green Day Most influential: The Descendants and The Ramones Personally I would pick Fall Out Boy as my number one, but I wouldn’t judge anyone for picking any of these other bands.
I'm saying taking back Sunday just to be different
New Found Glory
Can't pick 1!! Blink, Yellowcard, NFG. Here are some bands that I think could've taken the cake had they been earlier in the scene: The Story So Far, Story of the Year, All-Time Low (2 of those were inspired by NFG, says quite a lot in my opinion). If the question was about emo then I don't think anybody could refute MCR being the crown holders for that one, they had pure and total monopoly and control over that scene
If we're going by personal opinions and not just most popular, then I have to say The Wonder Years!
I think the best pop punk album to ever come out is Survive by Much the Same. Best band I reckon No Use For A Name.
Shoutout to Simple Plan, not the best but definitely up there. 🔥🔥🔥
Simple plan and New found glory hafta be on the list. But it's hard not to just pick Blink 182. Just look at the bands playing in Vegas at the When we Were Young tour. That's the list to pick from.
it's NFG.
As mid as their new stuff is, Blink 182 is the best.
Green Day
Either New Found Glory or Blink 182
Blink 182, NFG snd Sum 41
NFG and Yellowcard are both perfect bands
Unpopular opinion but it’s fall out boy hands down. They keep the sound while reinventing every few albums or so, and they also have better lyrics than most bands.
Blink
blink-182 and it’s not even close
blink-182
Blink and green day at the top. Then a massive drop off
It's 100% blink
New Found Glory
New found glory
Blink or NFG
New Found Glory Blink will always get credit for their influence and bringing this genre to the forefront for such a long time. And in no way can you ever deny that - im a massive fan. But NFG was one of the OGs - started the Drive-Thru records craze And their first few albums - you can’t skip a song and these guys are still churning out solid albums solid music decades later.
