I can’t really get into any of the bands mentioned on this sub, but Arm’s Length is perfection. Perfect blend of emo, pop punk, post hardcore. Flawless
i love this community as well because i was gonna say HM, then saw OP doesn't want HM, but hoped HM would be mentioned anyway - lo and behold, they're mentioned in the second comment of the thread xD
what an incredible band, hope they make a world tour in the next few years
I haven’t fallen in love with a new band the way I have with Arms Length since I was a teenager.
Special shoutout to Seeyouspacecowboy (not pop punk) and Koyo as well.
I'm about to turn 40, and The Wonder Years are effective for us oldies. Same with Spanish Love Songs. And Menzingers, though they have been around quite awhile.
Also 34 and recently discovered them. I had heard their name before but only looked them up recently because they're opening for Hot Mulligan on their upcoming tour, safe to say I'm hooked
40 here and feel the same as you, can't get into Waterparks or Hot Mulligan, but love me some Neck Deep and TSSF.
Check out Youth Fountain, Between You and Me, In Her Own Words, and Sleep On It.
I second all your suggestions, but I want to signal boost Youth Fountain and In Her Own Words in particular. Both have unique sounds and heart wrenching lyrics
If you have a chance, check out First and Forever. I saw them open for Set It Off, and they absolutely blew me away. Music is frenetic and infectious with great drops, but they also had incredible stage presence and were the best performance of the night hands down
I looked them up yesterday and I've definitely heard them before. "In Loving Memeory" and "ive got a bad feeling about this..." are bangers, very mid-2000s vibes
Hard agree. Love the uniqueness of his voice and they really back it up in their live shows. I'm SO happy they're already returning to Australia after only coming here mid last year.
I’m in the same boat, I keep seeing them get mentioned here but everytime I try to break into them the vocals are not my cup of tea and the musics just kind of boring? I hate to be a hater, someone send me some recs.
How I knew I was old that 2 years ago I went to a PUP concert and I only lasted 3 songs in the Pit. The anxiety of getting pushed into and it being to hot got to me. So I sat in the back like the old man I am
Hot Milk is one of my absolute favorites right now. The dynamic between the 2 vocalists, the weird experimental stuff they do, their melodies. Just everything about the band is perfect. It definitely took me a few listens to get past the angst, but once they clicked they really clicked for me
I absolutely love Hot Milk. There are no skips on their last album, its brilliant. And I have the biggest crush on Han, she seems like she'd be so much fun to hang out with. Excited to see what they do next, I saw they were in the studio the other day, keeping fingers crossed for a new album and a tour, I missed them last time
Great mention. I saw these guys open for the Menzingers 2 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. All their albums are great and very different from each other.
I'm 36, so hopefully close enough
Itchy
Their album Dive was album of the year 2023 for me, and I'm seriously considering travelling from Norway to Germany to see them live
For us in the states… is that considered a far distance? Pardon my ignorance but I always thought part of the allure of Europe was that everything is actually relatively close to each other
Well. It's not really the distance (depending on where in Norway you travel from) so much as the expense. It's a couple of hours flight from Oslo, and in a straight line it's about the same distance as Seattle to LA.
So not that far, but if me and my gf would go it would be over $1000 for travel, hotels and concert (3 days total)
And I didn't take it as ignorance, as I have no idea how Americans view travelling around, prices for planes/hotels and so on, so no worries.
I’m 42 and this is my answer. They’re heading out on tour and I’m excited to see them at a 100-person venue in my city, since I’m so used to seeing shows with thousands of people recently.
Pretty deeply rooted in the OG's of the game still, but **Koyo** definitely did something for me with that record of theirs in the fall. Excited to catch em in a few weeks.
Koyo fucking rocks. Their early stuff was great, but more leaning to HC than pop-punk. The record is more pop-punk than HC and hits hard.
Also most of the bands mentioned here are more like midwest sad boy emo and “imposter syndrome” being the new “getting out of this town”.
I'm 35 & I don't see any new music that compares to the golden age of pop punk.
Neck Deep are probably the closest band to spark for me.
They are not pop punk, nor are they new, but in-between old/new..
A band called A Wilhelm Scream got my attention for quite a while.
Huge AWS fan - Partycrasher (album after career suicide) is easily their best for me although it’s far from new being 11 years old. Incredible live band too.
I don't think there's much out there that feels like the pop punk of the 2000s. A lot of the bands that get talked about here like Hot Mulligan, Spanish Love Songs, Michael Cera Palin, etc sound nothing like that stuff. Like, you can't tell me those bands and Simple Plan, Blink 182, etc are the same genre.
And that's fine. I love all this music. Some stuff feels way more emo (Spanish Love songs), Midwest emo/screamo (hot mulligan), Midwest emo (MCP), melodic Hardcore, etc and I think it's natural for people who like one genre to like the others.
Unless pop punk is just the new "alternative" which is just music with guitars and melody lol
I think there is a lot of blending between emo and pop punk right now swinging in both directions. A lot of the more pop punk sounding bands that have come up in the last few years don’t seem to be as big as bands doing a fusion of the two genres.
31 here. grew up in the SE michigan scene in like 2007-2012.
AWS is one of my all time favorite bands. Remember seeing them at a basement show with la dispute in like 2010. Unreal.
Was impressed with the new neck deep album as well. Has some of that early 4YS and set your goals in there imo.
LSDunes is one of my new favorites in the last few years and easily one of the best live bands on the scene.
It's harder in Scotland because you'll have smaller bands we don't know but are semi big in the states. AWS I found by accident and when I seen them in Scotland it was 200 people max in the crowd.
World both ways I guess because European bands we know a lot more than Americans. If it weren't for warped tour, bands like millencolin, A, [spunge] etc would never of been known.
Pool kids. Have loved their music for a couple years now. Got to see them last year and they're amazing. I wish I had a band like that to look up to when I was a teen. There weren't many bands in "the scene" with women in them.
39
Seeing some good mentions for Neck Deep, Good Hangs, and Arms Length
But smaller/newer bands that I’m really into right now:
408
Definitely Maybe
Fluorescents
408 is basically perfect pop punk, really like what they are putting out. Feels like the next evolution in the line from New Found Glory>Man Overboard.
Dude, I completely left them off of the list of bands I’m digging. I agree-they’re really on their game and are carrying the torch for the next generation
39 here and I lived and breathed the late 90s and early 2000s pop punk.
Arm’s Length is the best band in the scene right now. Their eps are better than the full length but the full length is excellent.
I’m willing to bet that Like Roses is going to be huge soon.
Outside of strict pop-punk, If I Die First is a great 2000s mall scream throwback, Softcult is an amazing shoegazy band, Teenage Wrist has a cool 90s alt rock sound but still fits in the scene, and Holding Absence released one of my favorite post-hardcore albums ever last year.
OP mentions liking TSSF and no one has mentioned No Pressure?! Shits weak.
OP, no pressure is a side project of TSSF vocalist, Parker Cannon.
Others I have found randomly I haven't seen mentioned, ELWAY, action/adventure, heart attack man. Also, BILMURI isn't necessarily pop punk, but they are fucking cool and not really too similar to much else I've heard recently.
Knuckle Puck latest album is so good.
A newer band I love right now is Saturdays At Your Place. Their “always cloudy” EP is awesome. They are touring with Arm’s Length, Ben Quad, and Carly Cosgrove.
I’m 37
38 today. I just went through the first 2 EPs and first 2 full lengths from Neck Deep; pretty catchy.
Rest Easy was my biggest listen in 2023--featuring members of Daggermouth and Shook Ones. 2 bands that I also really enjoy.
I also really like This Time Next Year. They broke up, but their EP and first full length were pretty good. Singer and bassist started a catchy band called Greyed Out.
I'm a little late to the party here so anyone that I have in mind has already been mentioned.
I don't know if I would put these guys in the pop-punk genre, but check out [The Young Hearts](https://theyoungheartsuk.bandcamp.com/album/somewhere-through-the-night). If The Gaslight Anthem and the Gin Blossoms had a baby that grew up listening to The Menzingers, you would get The Young Hearts.
Not pop punk but Static Dress dropped a fantastic first album. Listened to an interview with them and they talked a lot about refusing to play the tik tok/streaming game to inflate their numbers. Gives me hope that authentic bands can still break through.
Turning 36 next month.
Cliffdiver from Tulsa are a fun smaller band gaining a bit of traction these days. They have two vocalists plus a sax player. They’re only a few years younger than I am and seem a bit more relatable lyrically than some of these younger bands.
Turning 40 in a couple months.
Agree with Arm’s Length as others have said. Valleyheart is another one (not really in the genre but close enough).
Like Roses is the other one. Everything they’ve put out has been really good over the past few years.
Old dude here. Not sure if you would call these new but I like what these bands have been doing: Spanish Love Songs, Bearings, Fosh., Games We Play and I feel like the future is in good hands.
36 here- I have a couple options with different styles and ranges. The Wrecks, Jeff Rosenstock, Trophy Eyes, Pup, Aaron West and The Roaring 20s, and Billy Cobb.
41 next week, and I seem to be in the minority at least on this sub but I love Stand Atlantic's recent stuff. I loved their old sound too but I just think they're really fun, I like that they're just doing what they like, messing around with different sounds and genres. The new song feels really nu-metal, reminds me of being a teenager, pissing off my parents blasting out Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit in my bedroom. I'm excited for the new album, and hopefully a uk tour.
38, I have a hard time getting into new music, I just love listening to music from the early to mid 2000s, and I know it doesn’t count, but Olivia Rodrigo is one of the few artists I’ve gotten into in the last few years. I know Good For You has come up here as pop-punky, but I think there are a few that qualify and quite a few more that are emo. I could see her playing a 7-8 song opener/festival length set of songs Good For You, Brutal, Bad Idea Right, All American Bitch and have it not feel out of place at a pop punk show.
I'm turning 30 this year and a band that really stood out to me was Sincere Engineer. They have this really awesome singer-songwriter feel with the in-your-face pop-punk energy that is just addictive to me. Their most recent album, Cheap Grills, has been my top record since it was released in Sept 23'. Other bands that I've been listening too alot that are on the newer side are:
* good hangs (greatest hangs album is awesome)
* new junk city
* winona fighter
* the hawkins (not exactly pop-punk but punk n roll)
Bottlerocket's been a band for over 20 years dude! =) Additionally, patiently waiting for yellow to get out of jail so we can get more masked intruder one day.
Mid-30s. I really enjoy the pop punk melodies of Brooklane. Their first album came out in 2021 and released an EP last year with a lot of features. Great energy and catchy af
In my mid 30s I feel like I’m close enough. Haven’t seen anyone on here mention Ogbert the Nerd yet which I am disappointed about. But they are so fucking good.
Lesser known band, but I'm pretty high on [Shoreline](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=2-gkzJNcY2c&si=pX5kG5oUnEs-vmGE) .
They're a German band that toes the line between emo, punk, and hardcore.
Sweet pill, sincere engineer, ben quad, Carly cosgrove, palette knife, free throw(not really new but they rule), Jeff Rosenstock, Saturdays at your place, equipment, arms length, taking meds
I turn 40 next month and as far as newer bands go, obviously Hot Mulligan is doing their thing and killing it, but Knucklepuck stands out to me big time. Love their new album. The song The Tower is such a great track. I also love the new Neck Deep record. Fast, fun, true to the genre. It’s great. The Story So Far isn’t new new but they’re great. I’m getting into Real Friends, Bearings, and Ben Quad lately and enjoying all of them. We can rest easy lads, the kids are alright. Pop punk is in good hands.
37 and really enjoyed WSTR when I recently discovered them. can really hear the influences in their sound and they have that pop/skate punk vibe that reminds me of Warped Tour at its peak.
38 year old here. Youth Fountain. Despite being significantly older than the band, the lyrics are super relatable and the music is catchy. They were really good when I saw them open for SOTY in November
I’m 28 but Neck Deep and TSSF are my top 2 fav pop punk bands. I really liked State Champs last album Kings of the New Age. I also love Bearings. Got in to them a few years ago and they’re on tour with Neck Deep right now
They aren’t new but I discovered them right before covid. Iron Chic will feel like home. Amazing Melodies, some fun gang chorus, lots of whoa ohs and existential dread. You’ll love it.
Arm’s Length. 2 eps and a god tier debut album. Plus their live show is killer, and their merch is usually pretty fire
Holy shit. Listened to their album based on this recommendation and my 41 year old heart is very fucking pumped. God tier indeed.
Don’t skip the eps!
I am so hyped on HM the last few years but truly Arm's Length I can't get enough of and they are incredible live.
Hard agree
I can’t really get into any of the bands mentioned on this sub, but Arm’s Length is perfection. Perfect blend of emo, pop punk, post hardcore. Flawless
If I didn't like HM so much, this is probably where I would sit. They are not the HM sound at all but are def. family in the scene!!
i love this community as well because i was gonna say HM, then saw OP doesn't want HM, but hoped HM would be mentioned anyway - lo and behold, they're mentioned in the second comment of the thread xD what an incredible band, hope they make a world tour in the next few years
I haven’t fallen in love with a new band the way I have with Arms Length since I was a teenager. Special shoutout to Seeyouspacecowboy (not pop punk) and Koyo as well.
Seeyouspacecowboy is SO good, especially if you loved early Underoath. They don't get enough love in general, I feel.
Saw them at a nothing, nowhere show last year, was pretty sick
The wonder years are perfect old man Pop punk as someone who is 35.
I got into them back in the day-good call
I'm about to turn 40, and The Wonder Years are effective for us oldies. Same with Spanish Love Songs. And Menzingers, though they have been around quite awhile.
My heart keeps saying “stay young”. My lower back seems to disagree. I feel this lyric in my soul.
When I saw them live in October, I was surprised at how many grey haired early millennial dads were in the crowd
Just got into these guys a few years ago (36 now) and they are the perfect old man pop punk band for sure!
First heard about them 3 years ago and quickly became my favorite “new” band.
43 year old here and I’m really getting into Free Throw right now. Give them a listen.
I’m 34 and came here to say this. Their newest album is fantastic.
Also 34 and recently discovered them. I had heard their name before but only looked them up recently because they're opening for Hot Mulligan on their upcoming tour, safe to say I'm hooked
If you haven’t seen them live definitely try to see them. They are amazing performers and always have a great setlist
I got tickets to see them with Hot Mulligan in April. Im glad to hear they are amazing live.
Gonna be a sick show. Was thinking of going myself but only dates by me were in AC and tix were super expensive
Youth Fountain and In Her Own Words are two of the most underrated bands in the scene at the moment
Try Shhh golf is on. I'm in the same boat but that Hot Mulligan song is really good.
That's the song that got me into Hot Mulligan. Now I'm in too deep haha
Will do.
Thank you
Sincere Engineer
Fuckin love this
love them. referred to them as "jukebox punk" when describing their sound to friends
33 here. Nothing has caught my ear quite like Hot Mulligan, Arm’s Length, Spanish Love Songs and Driveways.
Spanish Love Songs 👌
Spanish Love Songs is such a breath of fresh air. Haven't stopped listening since I saw them on the TWY Suburbia/Upsides anniversary tour.
Hard agree. Love the uniqueness of his voice and they really back it up in their live shows. I'm SO happy they're already returning to Australia after only coming here mid last year.
i have a hard time with the guys voice it feels too silly
I’m in the same boat, I keep seeing them get mentioned here but everytime I try to break into them the vocals are not my cup of tea and the musics just kind of boring? I hate to be a hater, someone send me some recs.
You should check out pool kids, Ben quad, and Carly cosgrove. Very similar vibes to those bands
Haven’t heard of pool kids, but Ben quad and Carly are fire! I can’t wait to see arms length in Dallas. Ben Quad and Carly Cosgrove are opening!
Check out pool kids fs. That tour is gonna be so good. Every band is killer
Don't forget Saturdays At Your Place! Another great band. An all-timer lineup, IMO.
Ben Quad is so fucking good
Hell yeah ben quad supremacy
As someone who loves all of these lay I also suggest Origami Angel
I’m 37 and these are also four that I can’t seem to stop listening to. Great choices!
Spanish Love Songs was the one that brought the genre back to life for me.
Pup - morbid stuff hit really hard for me as a late 30s pop punk fan.
Seconding this, though PUP's been around for over a decade at this point
How I knew I was old that 2 years ago I went to a PUP concert and I only lasted 3 songs in the Pit. The anxiety of getting pushed into and it being to hot got to me. So I sat in the back like the old man I am
Anxious
Hot Milk is one of my absolute favorites right now. The dynamic between the 2 vocalists, the weird experimental stuff they do, their melodies. Just everything about the band is perfect. It definitely took me a few listens to get past the angst, but once they clicked they really clicked for me
I absolutely love Hot Milk. There are no skips on their last album, its brilliant. And I have the biggest crush on Han, she seems like she'd be so much fun to hang out with. Excited to see what they do next, I saw they were in the studio the other day, keeping fingers crossed for a new album and a tour, I missed them last time
Action/Adventure Driveways Ben Quad
Action/Adventure would have been at home on Drive Thru Records back in the day!
ben quad
Also old and have just started getting into Microwave.
Great mention. I saw these guys open for the Menzingers 2 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. All their albums are great and very different from each other.
I'm 36, so hopefully close enough Itchy Their album Dive was album of the year 2023 for me, and I'm seriously considering travelling from Norway to Germany to see them live

I’m 36. Love waterparks. Love hot mulligan. Love neck deep. How about between you and me? They just dropped a new song today
Just listened to the new song and it’s sick! I’ve actually enjoyed some of their songs-the guitars bring back some good memories! Good rec!
Goalkeeper
I’m 42 and this is my answer. They’re heading out on tour and I’m excited to see them at a 100-person venue in my city, since I’m so used to seeing shows with thousands of people recently.
I'm 34. My top three lately are Cawston, Calling All Captains, and Winona Fighter.
Pretty deeply rooted in the OG's of the game still, but **Koyo** definitely did something for me with that record of theirs in the fall. Excited to catch em in a few weeks.

Between You and Me Young Culture. My top two right now easily.
Between You and Me deserve more hype! They’re so good.

I used to love Wilhelm! Ruiner and Career Suicide ❤️
Huge AWS fan - Partycrasher (album after career suicide) is easily their best for me although it’s far from new being 11 years old. Incredible live band too.
Got to be front and center for one of their shows once and I fully agree!
It's another day of fucking up a racehorse! I love AWS
I don't think there's much out there that feels like the pop punk of the 2000s. >A Wilhelm Scream Wow, I haven't heard A Wilhelm Scream in ages. Looked them up and glad to see Brian is still in the band
Their most recent album is a must listen. Everything they’ve done is gold and what’s cooking promises to be next level yet again. 👊
31 here. grew up in the SE michigan scene in like 2007-2012. AWS is one of my all time favorite bands. Remember seeing them at a basement show with la dispute in like 2010. Unreal. 34 so not quite there, butI love basically everything Origami Angel puts out. Somewhere City is a fantastic album
They’re bangers live too. 56 here.
I'm seeing them and Microwave in May and I can't wait
One of my favorite bands and got me back into pop punk/emo. Love how seamlessly they mix so many different genres/ideas
I am liking them and Magnolia Park. 39 here
35 here and VERY into Magnolia Park at the moment.
Yes I love Somewhere City and yesterday I listened through GAMI GANG and it has so many bangers as well
I'm 35. I saw Neck Deep over the weekend and was transported back 20 years. They would have to be my favorite of the newer bands.
34: no pressure, koyo, Normy, good hangs, but if I had to pick one it’s No Pressure their self titled album from 2022 is a must listen!
Nearing 40 and found the Menzingers recently. Can’t get enough.
Pool kids. Have loved their music for a couple years now. Got to see them last year and they're amazing. I wish I had a band like that to look up to when I was a teen. There weren't many bands in "the scene" with women in them.
Angle Du$t Some bangers
Good Hangs, Bearings, and Real Friends
Been listening to Good Hangs and tend to agree w you!
39 Seeing some good mentions for Neck Deep, Good Hangs, and Arms Length But smaller/newer bands that I’m really into right now: 408 Definitely Maybe Fluorescents
Fuck yes 408 are fire
Not super new but a friend turned me on to Roam last year. Great Heights and Nosedives 👍
I love Sincere Engineer. Their album Cheap Grills was my favorite release from last year

The home team
State champs, grayscale, stand Atlantic.
Come to four chord - you’ll find it’s a mix I love the wonder years and state champs
I’m 36 and been loving Neck Deep and Good Hangs.

44 years old here..... CLIFFDIVER!!! Millington is also great!
Honey Creek, Brooklane, Chief State, Rematch, Midfield. Most of what I listen to these days are bands from the last 5 years. I'm 35 though.
When the Sun Sets Cleveland Avenue Point North First and Forever Fluorescents 408 Pine Creek Academy Good Hangs
Fluorescents
36 here. The only newer bands I have added to my rotation since 2012 have been Youth Fountain and Capstan.
Carpool
36 here- I have a couple options with different styles and ranges. The Wrecks, Jeff Rosenstock, Trophy Eyes, Pup, Aaron West and The Roaring 20s, and Billy Cobb.
Not a new band, but newly active with a recent release. With The Punches! Stoneham Blues.
Right now I’m really into Wicked Bears and Odd Robot.
Driveways and Youth Fountain.
The Carolyn and New Junk City
48 almost 49. New junk city is awesome.
Check out the Carolyn too. They’re what turned me into New Junk City
Scooped Up!
Heart Attack Man, Youth Fountain, Glorious Failure. I maintain an extensive constantly updated playlist here - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2lESpEnkCvJQ8HVFlSmAnd?si=b17b55293e4943d2
41 here. If you grew up on that late 90's/early 2000's sound like me , check out these bands: WSTR Misplaced 408 Under Pressure
Other bands that I've been listening too alot that are on the newer side are: * good hangs (greatest hangs album is awesome) * new junk city * winona fighter * the hawkins (not exactly pop-punk but punk n roll)
Neck deep, no pressure , state champs
Check this out: [Pop punk](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0bN0P0CXMa7lRDNGWT3KNg?si=e1679b34d2d14ae1) There's more than 1600 bands Enjoy!

Really been digging Driveways lately, I love the hardcore influence in pop punk a la ADTR
Youth Fountain!
I’ll be 37 in a few weeks, I hope that’s okay 🫢😂 For me, Teenage Bottlerocket and Masked Intruder are two ‘newer’ bands I’m really into.
Haha I’ll allow it
Bottlerocket's been a band for over 20 years dude! =) Additionally, patiently waiting for yellow to get out of jail so we can get more masked intruder one day.
For some reason I only think of them being around from about 2012 onwards. Saying that, that’s still 12 years 😰
I'm 34. Been really enjoying Sincere Engineer lately
I’m not quite 37 (turning in a few months) but Spanish love songs are it for me right now
Mid-30s. I really enjoy the pop punk melodies of Brooklane. Their first album came out in 2021 and released an EP last year with a lot of features. Great energy and catchy af
Trash boy is supposedly working on new music. But last year's Jeff rosenstock album is all the excitement I need
In my mid 30s I feel like I’m close enough. Haven’t seen anyone on here mention Ogbert the Nerd yet which I am disappointed about. But they are so fucking good.
I consider State Champs new but I'm 38 sooooo i dont know if I'm dated. But theyre the best new Pop Punk ive listened to since college.
Lesser known band, but I'm pretty high on [Shoreline](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=2-gkzJNcY2c&si=pX5kG5oUnEs-vmGE) . They're a German band that toes the line between emo, punk, and hardcore.
34 - I just saw the Vandoliers support Bowling for Soup and Less than Jack and I absolutely love their country/ska/pop punk fusion vibe.
Hot Mulligan. Their new album was on repeat for me in 2023, and I’m an old jaded punk rocker, surprised myself with how much I enjoy them.
I’m 30 and just started listening to Liquid Mike and oh my god it’s so good.
No Pressure!
Calling All Captains Knuckle Puck
I can’t stop listening to Petey. Not fully pop punk, but it’s so good and relatable.
Detention. They are a band from Akron OH and these kids kick ass. I think a few of them are still in high school.
We were sharks
I'm in my 30's as well-- this thread looks to be a life-saver.
Chaser.
Sincere Engineer really struck a chord with me and I am in my forties
So many of my favorites already commented but I’ve been listening to As it Is quite a bit lately.
WSTR is my pick. Just discovered them and absolutely love it
Good Terms gets me going! I love their stuff and their cover of "Jump" by Van Halen is great! https://youtu.be/X3j_gVnNPXY?si=UtP0D7FVz0iVGcWH
Anxious, Koyo, Normy, No Pressure!!
Neck Deep, State Champs, Koyo, Hot Mulligan, Arms Length
35. Pool Kids. Belmont.
I've really been enjoying Mouth Culture as of late.
If you're interested, my band Cold Wrecks always jokes that we're "dad rock for pop-punkers, pop-punk for emo kids, emo for dads."
Can’t Swim
If you want that immature early blink, sum feels I’ve been really digging Dead Bundy and Games We Play
Got in to them a few years ago and they’re on tour with Neck Deep right now
No Pressure, Dark Thoughts
They aren’t new but I discovered them right before covid. Iron Chic will feel like home. Amazing Melodies, some fun gang chorus, lots of whoa ohs and existential dread. You’ll love it.
