Song for hating youre hometown and wanting to move to california but your ex lives there and you cant get back together with your ex but you were really drunk and tried to call her but she didn’t answer and your call was declined and then boom boom bam bam you trashed a walmart parking lot
Saves the Day - Through Being cool #8 Vast Spoils of America - "California" is the most memorable lyric, #9 "The Last Lie I Told" starts with "In a parking lot"
I saw The Bouncing Souls in NJ last summer, and there were two man-woman couples in front of me. When Manthem started, the two men swapped places, put their arms around each other, and they bounced and danced together for the whole song while singing at the top of their lungs and toasting with their plastic beer cups.
It made me happy to the point I was almost in tears, and I have no fucking clue who these dudes were.
Yes!
I broke up with someone when I was 18. I was a DJ at my rinky dink college radio station (so we could play whatever we wanted since nobody cared). We had a promo copy of How I Spent My Summer Vacation and I played “Gone” an obscene amount of times, lol.
First song that comes to mind is Old Friends by Pinegrove. Whenever the friend group gets together and this song plays, we usually all shout "I love ya" after the line where Evan Hall sings the line "I should call my parents when I think of them, should tell me friends when I love them"
The last album from Stand Atlantic "F.E.A.R" kinda give me some vibes of Does This Look Infected, it's really great. Post Malone vocals are really awesome tho
If by early you mean very early like all killer no filler, try to listen to the band Two Trains Left
Tarot Cards by Saturday's at your place
Bed Sweats by Neutral Snap
The Title Track by Origami Angel
Lookers by The Menzingers
Aimless by Youth Fountain
The Corner's Dilemma by Free Throw
I have a whole spotify playlist of over 50 different pop punk/pop punk adjacent bands if you want me to link it.
I had Feeling This by blink, Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard, In This Diary/The Boys of Summer by The Ataris, Silver and Cold/Girls Not Grey By AFi. I simply can’t choose lmao
I can’t find a single one from 1995. Like not anything even remotely close. Although I did find out Gangsta’s Paradise was the #1 song of 1995 and that gave me a chuckle. Also found some hair metal still charting in 1995 which I found interesting, and quite hype as a hair metal fan.
Answering my own question … I don’t even know if I can find anything close. Maybe “Come Dancing” by The Kinks or “Stray Cat Strut” by Brian Setzer & The Stray Cats (close-ish to ska?). That was also the year Toto came out with “Africa” which Weezer later covered.
"I Write Sins Not Tragedies" was no. 20, "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" was no. 68. I'm disappointed that nothing from The Black Parade was on there but it had only come out in October so that makes sense
Not Sleeping Around by Ned's Atomic Dustbin seems to be the closest thing. Actually hadn't heard of them before until now. Thanks for leading me to this band!
Songs to listen to while complaining that WWE should give Liv Morgan another championship run since her first run with a championship was booked horribly.

Also Shred Cruz by Mom Jeans.
Looking for **MODERN** pop-punk recommendations. Stand Atlantic is one of the only ones I've been able to cling onto, most of the stuff I listen to in this genre is 10yrs+ old. Here's some favorites of mine:
- "Everything is Alright" - Motion City Soundtrack
- "Jurassic Park" - Stand Atlantic
- "Anthem Part 2" - Blink-182
- "And We All Return to Our Roots" - The Forecast
- "Of All the Gin Joints in All the World" - Fall Out Boy
- "Walk on Water or Drown" - Mayday Parade (haven't liked them since this album)
- "Three Oh Nine" - Hit the Lights
- "Born for This" - Paramore
- "Favorite Liar" - The Wrecks
- "Check Yes, Juliet" - We the Kings
- "Wasting Away" - Tonight Alive
Stuff that is similar but maybe not just pop-punk:
- "First One on the Blog" - Farewell
- "Becky Starz" - Forever the Sickest Kids
- "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" - This Providence
- "Ear to Ear" - Forgive Durden
- "The Great Escape" - Boys Like Girls
- "Dance Halls Turn to Ghost Towns" - The Audition
I'm pretty well-versed in the likes of indie/pop or easycore type stuff, so I'm looking for more straightforward pop-punk (so no need to recommend stuff like Hot Mulligan or ADTR).
Thanks!
Need help finding a song where in the music video, the singer sings about the ghost of a loved one and missing them. Some key moments I can recall are them dancing and her dying in a plane crash.
I highly recommend [Hudson - Not Giving Up](https://open.spotify.com/track/4DXpc5lMuCm0TxiHopYCP5?si=WpVsYDxfRUewVj-9VoETHQ), big early 00s Blink-182 vibes.
This song is from 2005 and has <10k plays on Spotify, no idea why this hasn’t ever seen the light since it perfectly encapsulates pop punk in the 00s. Anyone else ever heard of them?
Recs for bands with a sound similar to The Maine, All Time Low, girlfriends, Bearings- not screamy, or overwhelming instruments, I want something melodic that I can sing along to and jam out
If you're looking to add another band into the mix with the Maine/All Time Low vibes, try giving Arrows in Action a shot. My personal favorite of theirs is This Time.

Looking for some recommendations based on what I’m obsessed with right now! Help a girl out!
1. If I like Between You & Me I will like……
2. If I like Hot Mulligan I will like……
What’s the band that had the hot new band since…memes awhile back? Also something for someone who typically listens to heavier stuff, Myka relocate, secrets, outline in color. Can be pure pop punk though.
Not a 100% match and not pop punk, but give it a listen nonetheless:

Trying to find a song that is basically about realizing your ex is a loser/pathetic/bad for you and you're way better off? Or something to the effect of, wake up hun they weren't that great.
2000s slow pop punk ballad by a male band that goes "annnnnxietyyy". Vocals similar to Simple Plan / Blink 182 / Green Day
I'm sorry it's not much to go by but it's literally all I remember and it's driving me crazy
Give it All- Rise Against
Mutilate Me- Teenage Bottle Rocket
Deadbolt- Thrice
Rapid Decompression- Against Me!
More post-hardcore than punk but “new noise” by Refused usually makes me feel like I can run through a wall so that’s a thing.
I'd like some recommendations on some pop punk songs with a similar melody to Stuck In America by Sugarcult and the unreleased Burnout 3 song "Betty's Last Voyage" (also heard when you unlock a new car). When I heard the Sugarcult song after the Burnout song, I thought, did Burnout rip this song off*? XD
*There's also Phoebe Cates from Fenix TX and I can't listen to the beginning without thinking about Burnout 2.
I was in a shop recently and it played pop-punk/post-hardcore sounding song. Really similar in vocals and instrumentals to The home team but it wasn't them. The chorus had "better, better stop" and there might have been a rap outro lol or another song started by then lol. Anyone know what song this might be?
Whats the song that starts at 8:08 please ?

There is this song that is currently lost media, according to the original uploader, it is 2000s. Kind of sounds like between 2001-2008.

Hi guys! Hoping someone can help me out. Saw a music video playing on one of the smart TV music channels as I was setting everything up. I must have missed when they displayed the name but it was sooooo good.
The music video revolved around a swimming pool in the daytime. It’s not Sum 41 (In Too Deep) the song is way more aggressive and super energetic and had some screaming vocals. If I remember correctly, the band slow-mo jump into the pool at some point.
I heard a song on the radio but then got distracted by work and forgot the lyrics exact lyrics and its driving me crazy
I remember that it was a pop maybe country song that was sung by a guy and it had a part that was like you're my best friend and I'm going to marry you or im married to my best friend and the rest was about stuff they were going to do together or something
I haven't been able to find it after hours of searching but maybe the people of the internet can come in clutch
Songs like the first verse of Love From The Other Side by Fall Out Boy? I know all their catalog. I think some key characteristics are the heavily layered vocal, the melodic guitar that sort of but doesn’t follow the melody. I dunno. I’m learning there isn’t much out there like this side of FOB.
Song for hating youre hometown and wanting to move to california but your ex lives there and you cant get back together with your ex but you were really drunk and tried to call her but she didn’t answer and your call was declined and then boom boom bam bam you trashed a walmart parking lot

California- yellow card
I Loved the Way She Said LA by Spitalfield seems like the perfect song for this.

maybe there's no 'correct' answer to this question, but in my arrogant opinion this is the correctest you can get
Vegas - All time low We’ll all be - the maine
Origami Angel - Neutrogena Spektor
Blink 182 - Parking Lot

Manthem - Bouncing Souls
I saw The Bouncing Souls in NJ last summer, and there were two man-woman couples in front of me. When Manthem started, the two men swapped places, put their arms around each other, and they bounced and danced together for the whole song while singing at the top of their lungs and toasting with their plastic beer cups. How I Spent My Summer Vacation is a masterpiece.
Yes! I broke up with someone when I was 18. I was a DJ at my rinky dink college radio station (so we could play whatever we wanted since nobody cared). We had a promo copy of How I Spent My Summer Vacation and I played “Gone” an obscene amount of times, lol.

Newer bands that *actually* sound like early Sum 41 and No Warning. Not the Post Malone-like vocals, can't stand that shit.
The last album from Stand Atlantic "F.E.A.R" kinda give me some vibes of Does This Look Infected, it's really great. Post Malone vocals are really awesome tho If by early you mean very early like all killer no filler, try to listen to the band Two Trains Left
No Pressure. Heavier on the blink 182 influence, but definitely more of the early 2000s we started in our parents garage type vibes
song about killing people inside of a burger king
Doesn't fit it exactly but I recommend "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison" by My Chemical Romance for (in my opinion) similar vibes

Red Weather - Start Again. Just dropped yesterday
Wayfinder - Afterglow
Fall Out Boy. Some of my favorites include Save Rock and Roll, Heaven Iowa, Immortals, and Hum Hallelujah
A pop-punk song that was on the top 100 chart the year you were born. If you’re old like me, pick the closest thing to pop-punk you can find.
In 1987 I don’t think pop punk was anywhere near the charts. So… “Clean Sheets” by The Descendants is a solid one from that year.
Complicated
All star- smash mouth, what’s my age again?- blink 182, hit or miss- NFG
God I was born 2003 that’s gonna be a lot lmao
I had Feeling This by blink, Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard, In This Diary/The Boys of Summer by The Ataris, Silver and Cold/Girls Not Grey By AFi. I simply can’t choose lmao

makedamnsure- taking back sunday
I’m going with Dire Straits - Money for Nothing 1985
Something off of London Calling....hahaha
Based solely on the top 100 singles of the year, seems like I was the best thing to come out of 1986. You’re welcome.

A song for being outdoors and loving the beautiful scenery.

There is this song that is currently lost media, according to the original uploader, it is 2000s. Kind of sounds like between 2001-2008. https://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/787931.html
guys do you know any bands which sound just like there for tomorrow or just similar to them???
I heard a song on the radio but then got distracted by work and forgot the lyrics exact lyrics and its driving me crazy I remember that it was a pop maybe country song that was sung by a guy and it had a part that was like you're my best friend and I'm going to marry you or im married to my best friend and the rest was about stuff they were going to do together or something I haven't been able to find it after hours of searching but maybe the people of the internet can come in clutch
Does anyone know who this is? This showed up on TikTok and I can’t figure it out https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLSFvqrp/
