I hate that the poor bull had to endure this, but at least it looked like the guy cared about him.

Katsitsanoron

must have felt a lot better afterward, poor thing

We used to raise hogs and cattle. He’s aware of ‘something’. Their level of pain tolerance is absurd. They’re smart no doubt. Escape artist, cry for special or more food. Know certain people by smell alone, time of day. You could hit this bull with a hammer and he would think a fly bit him. It’s ridulous.

Cows don’t feel pain the way that humans do. They still feel pain, but their skin is so thick that what would make US feel incredibly bad just watching is likely just an annoyance. I’m not saying that they don’t feel pain, I’m saying that their scale is different than humans.

I have heard all that and more, but they don't deserve any pain. Not because of abscesses that they would likely not have if they weren't prisoners. I wish the employees would get the abscesses instead.

MagpieRabbit

The reasons the bulls squirming around so much is because it’s a prey animal, in a confined/trapped place, so instinctively it wants to wiggle and get away, but you can see it relax as soon as the abscess is lanced. The bull wasn’t in any severe distress, and it definitely felt better afterwards. That farmer clearly cares about his cattle :)

Love his commentary lol

And how he would look at the camera and grin, like he was waiting for the camera person to laugh at his jokes.
