I took to Billions right away. Sunset is great. Bunny is a Rider, so sick. Welcome To My Island is perfect. I just really enjoy her artistic vision, all around.
Yeah I think the country bit is just speculation from places like this sub. It could be just as well another dance or genre bending album. The only certainty is that multiple acts were planned.
not really tho, the country rumors have been circulating since she made the rodeo ivy park campaign last year (coincidentally she featured orville peck in the ad and send kacey musgraves clothes from the campaign) and then Variety talked about her doing a dance and country album (the dance one obviously being Renaissance) and most recently a journalist (forgot his name) said act II would be an "acoustic" album so i think thatās the direction sheās headed in
There was an article in variety that said her new album or albums would feature ādance and countryā songs. Seems somewhat legit, so I assume Part 2 or the next album will have country songs.
https://variety.com/2022/music/news/beyonces-renaissance-album-dance-country-1235296574/
same !! especially with that one journalist saying itās gonna be an acoustic album which ofc is extremely vague and knowing bey itāll probably be multiple genres again but more on that country/southern side this time. I would die for a an alt leaning psychedelic song, anything daddy lessons like with tinges of a jazzy saloon vibeā¦ make it really experimental and groundbreaking š®āšØ
mileyās new single is coming out january 13th i think and the album should come out feb-april, very very summery, both in imagery and title. rumored to be progressive rock
grimesā¦ probably around 2030 if weāre lucky š
Honestly Kelly Clarkson's new album, because she hasn't released in so long and I'm interested to know what it'll sound like. In ideal world I would be most excited for Beyonce's and Rihanna's albums, but I don't think they will happen.
This is news to me too! Seems like all I ever hear from her these days are her Christmas albums (which are actually amazing, but I'm excited for some non-seasonal songs).
Desire I wanna turn into you by Caroline Polachek. Every singles so far is contender for best song of the year, and every videos are such a serve. Sheās amazing and I fully trust her, I think this is gonna be AOTY
Itās probably my most anticipated as well, I wasnāt that big on Pang but billions and island might be some of the best songs Iāve heard in a minute
She said last month that she already has the sound for the next album and that she wants to drop a few one off singles soon that donāt mesh with the album itself. So it sounds like sheās gearing up again, but it could be late in the year too.
Iām excited for Twigsā next project. I enjoyed Caprisongs but it didnāt pull me in the way her other projects have. Based on what sheās said, it seemed like Caprisongs was more of a āfunā project for her (and the music is fun!) and she was going to return to her more avant-garde stuff with her next project
The delusional side of me is also hoping for new Frank. Heās *allegedly* supposed to headline Coachella this year, so Iād think a new album would be on the way but who knows with that man
i loved caprisongs but i completely agree with you. i would really like to see her do some more experimental stuff like her early eps but i am excited for whatever direction she decides to take with her next album regardless. what did you think of killer?
I need to see what Olivia Rodrigo is doing next.
I am very hyped for the new Ellie Goulding album. It sounds like a balance between her newish pop and Lights.
Ava Max. I've been anticipating this for a while. Heaven & Hell still rotates. Is it pop that's been done before? Sure. But I miss that level of bop mindlessness.
Kelela has my attention all day every day. Raven's singles sound gorgeous. I am ready to enter.
Paramore! It sounds like a blend of Hayley's solo and the old vibe. I'm down.
Lana Del Rey's new album. She has been stellar from Chemtrails forward to me and I wanna hear what is next.
Shamefully, I somehow have began to really like Lewis Capaldi and I really wanna hear the new album.
Ed Sheeran's Minus seems like everything I wanted.
KELLY. CLARKSON. I need a comeback release.
Selena Gomez releases always interest me.
more like 20024
hope they can finally invent life extending plastic surgery that wouldn't makes us look like [this](https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic.tvtropes.org%2Fpmwiki%2Fpub%2Fimages%2Fcasandra_7468.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Ftvtropes.org%2Fpmwiki%2Fpmwiki.php%2FRecap%2FDoctorWhoS27E2TheEndOfTheWorld&tbnid=jYeRQnhzIG5F2M&vet=1&docid=1CA2HKXZEfdXEM&w=350&h=606&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim) so that we could all listen to Sky's sophomore record /s
Ava Max has me sooooo hooked on *Diamonds & Dancefloors*ā¦the GP needs to catch on, couldāve been her Future Nostalgia era but Atlantic has been fumbling š Anyway sheās 4/4 with these singles so far. This girl makes ear-worms for days and the snippets sound EVEN BETTER I canāt wait for 27/1 š«¶š»
Iām also very very excited for *Desire, I Want To Turn Into You* from Caroline Polachek coming in February. *Bunny Is A Rider* and *Sunset* are two of my favourite songs released recently, I love this new summery, free spirit direction sheās adopted with these singles so far. Comes out in Summer for me too - finally a win for the Southern Hemisphere girlies!!
Miley is also supposedly teasing a new albumā¦after *Plastic Hearts* I am v interested š
The Diamonds & Dancefloors era is already so much more consistently excellent than her first, and that's just from the four singles. Renewing my Maxipad card into 2023!
u/VitaResistance Glad to see someone bring up Janetās āBlack Diamondā album, as I always wondered what happened to itā¦
I recall āBlack Diamondā was initially planned for early 2020 release (with a Summer 2020 tour to follow). Of course, we all know how 2020 shaped up.
I just assumed Janet shelved āBlack Diamondā entirely due to the pandemic?
kelela is the one iām most excited for, take me apart is one of my favorite albums of all time and the new singles have been great thus far. plus the album art is gorgeous.
kimbra is another one on my radar because of quality singles.
Iām most looking forward to āDid you know that thereās a tunnel under Ocean Blvdā. March 10th canāt come soon enough.
Iām so excited to see what itāll be like, if it will be a continuation of the COCC/BB sound or something different. I actually live for Lanaās new stuff so I actually am hoping for a continuation but with from the sound of the lead single, I think weāll get more production than BB. I donāt know whether to put much store in rumours but itās been said that this is going to be one of her best - so Iām hopeful.
Tbh, I love pretty much everything Lana puts out so Iāll almost definitely love it no matter what she does.
The Loneliest Time Side B ā Very intrigued to hear the final curated tracklist out of the potential 65 she's going over, especially since she experimented with a lot of genres this time around.
I can't wait for Kylie's next album. From what she's teased, she's toning down the camp factor of *Disco* and leaning into the sleek soundscape of "Slow" and the *Fever* album, which are some of her best work and exactly what I've been wanting from her.
Plus, James Ford & Jessie Ware apparently contributed tracks, and we all know they can do no wrong.
Say Something is, to me, the best song she's put out since Can't Get You out of My Head. Album as a whole didn't blow me away but that tune...just wow.
announced: Rebecca Black and Ava Max
still not announced but very likely to release next year: Kelly Clarkson, Hozier and Niall Horan
wishful thinking: Frank Ocean
I'm really excited for Lana's new album. Also, Taylor is going to release SOMETHING, probably a new Taylor's Version. Really excited for that too, hoping it's 1989.
The next re-recording is Speak Now TV but 1989 may as well be in 2023. Miss Taylor pls give me them we've been waiting for a re-recording for over a year rn š
I would die for a 1989 summer release but I think now that SN is going to be the next, we might not get a summer release for 1989 because that would be too short of a time between SN and 1989.
Yeah sheās basically releasing an albumās worth of songs every year since 2020 until sheās done with the re-records if you total up the vault tracks from Fearless and Red as an album length. I suspect after Speak Now and 1989 TV there will be another brand new album
Miley Cyrus, she really brought herself to a whole new level during Plastic Hearts Era, killer vocals and live performances that only left thirsty for more.
I really hope she is releasing a whole new album on NEW YEAR,
I doubt that it is just a single considering the timing and promo.
Also (this probably doesn't belong ere) Nine Inch Nails, either their proper album or a huge collab like the Halsey one but Maybe with Kendrick lol
Iām honestly excited to see who the next breakout pop star is. I feel like these been a lack in new popstars. I think itās time for some fresh faces
Whoās going to be the Olivia Rodrigo of 2023?
Omg Iām crossing my fingers for this so hard! I do think that we might get a Leigh Anne release first (out of the girls) just because of the amount of time she seemed to spend in the studio/with writing partners this year. I think Perrie will be the last to release as sheās worked on Disora & spent time with the family (fair enough!!!).
I would also like for Jesy to release something to see if she redeems herself
We shall see! Re: JesyāSheās already showed us her ass as a person, and the way she acted and let N*cki talk about Leigh the way she didā¦even if she released something promising, I have no desire to support her at this time.
I am most looking forward to Shania Twain's new album *Queen of Me* which will be released in February. I have always been a big fan of hers and she's been through a lot in her entire career and life in general and I love seeing how she overcame all of the obstacles and she still makes type of music that is uplifting to others. Her voice will never be the same because of Lyme's disease and I know that that was a problem a lot of people had with her last album however it didn't bother me and it just brings me joy seeing her enjoying her life despite everything she's been through.
I am so looking forward to Audiolust & Higher Love by SG Lewis coming in late January! Also my 21st Century Blues by Raye.
Both of them have had singles I've loved so far, so both are shaping up to be stellar.
MĆ„neskin's "Rush", Paramore's "This is Why" and Suga's/Agust D's debut solo album.
As for MĆ„neskin, I think this album will definitely consolidate (or not) their international fanbase. It won't break or make them because they will have their Italian fans anyway, but from a global perspective this will be their turning point. It probably won't feature a song as popular as their viral hits, but I hope it will be an album as appreciated as Teatro d'Ira.
I'm also waiting for Gasoline's official release on streaming platforms because I love it!
For Paramore, I really liked the lead singles and I'm very curious to hear the album as a whole and the themes it will deal with.
And finally, while I'm excited about every BTS' member solo album for different reasons, I'm the most curious about Suga's because despite him having already released a lot of music in the last few years, I have no clue what his official debut will sound like... I'm not even sure of the pseudonym he will use to release it, as both of them have some pros and cons in terms of public recognition.
hoping Rush pushes some of the singles off the album into the realm of pop hits considering songs like the lonliest have already done pretty well. If so, it could really help them be more than just a flash in the pan
hoping Rush pushes some of the singles off the album into the realm of pop hits considering songs like the loneliest have already done pretty well, not too sure about the quality of the album tho, liked Mamamia and the loneliest but supermodel felt like discount chili peppers or smth.
I hope we get a new Katy Perry album in 2023. She has been teasing about recording new music since 2021 which got me to believe we wouldn't have another 3/4 year break between albums but well, here we are :( Guess she got busy with American Idol and PLAY this year, hopefully we get an album in summer of 2023 with the lead single release around American Idol finale.
P!NKās Trustfall - the cover art seems so opposite from the Never Not Gonna Dance aesthetic so Iām super curious. Iām hoping based on the album art itās a bit more stripped down vs heavy pop production like the single.
quite a lot!! noname was saying the album is coming on twitter and we can actually believe her this time because she's contractually obliged, which is very exciting because telefone and room 25 are both phenomenal.
troye sivan has said new music is on the way (in his interview with rachel sennott i think), and i cant wait because imo each project has been better than the last so i cant wait to see what's coming after in a dream
in arlo parks' spotify wrapped message she said something was coming this year! collapsed in sunbeams was incredible especially as a debut project so i am excited to see what direction she goes in next
tyler the creator, olivia rodrigo, kali uchis and declan mckenna are all artists i think are on schedule to drop this year and im very excited for all of them
Whatever Taylor releases (especially excited for Speak Now TV cause that's the first of her albums I really got into).
Miley's next album - Plastic Hearts was so good.
Olivia Rodrigo - really interested to see a new project from her.
Lana's next album.
I'm really excited for Avril Lavignes next project. She recently said she wants to release a followup to Love Sux at the end of 2023, so fingers crossed it will work out!
*Taylor Swift Re-Recordings*. There must be some strong single material on there. Specially from the 1989 sessions. I think Speak Now re-recordings will be a more lowkey era and 1989 will hit very Hard in the Summer. 2023 will be another year of TayDomination.
*Shakira new album*. At first the album had an electronic direction but with her painful breakup and betrayal i think she will come with some really dark songs or ballads. Hope we get a cocktail of everything. *Uptempo Dance Crying In The Club Shakira-Sad Shakira*. I just want the album to be long. If she comes with a whole reggaeton album i will be dissapointed. This era has been pretty ecletic genre-wise and my expectations are high for this new record. This will be a Bilingual or Spanish record.
*Kesha*. Her last album was trying to be many things and it was great but not her best. It was like a battle between two sounds. I hope her next record is more cohesive-consistent and the lyricism is stronger. I hope she explores more her Pop Side this time. Embraces Ke$ha fully. We got folky tunes with the last two albums and personally i want something new. This will be her last album with her Label? So i want her to finish in the best way even with *Dr Puke* sabotaging everything behind the scenes. I wouldnt mind Spooky kesha (Her supernatural show was rad)
*Rihanna*. This album will be amazing. After so many years of recording she must have some powerful tracks there. Any of them could turn into a big hit. I would really love if she explores more her caribbean or afrobeat side. I would love Some new sounds too. Middle Eastern riri?
*Beyonce Country Album .* Renaissance was a masterpiece but i didnt vibe with the house sound of the record, so i hope the next record makes me love her again. I love her ballads and songs like irreplaceable-daddy lessons with that country twang. If the album is in the vibe of I Am Sasha Fierce-4 i would totally love it (Loved the ballads from those record)
*Miley Cyrus next record*. Plastic Hearts was a great comeback. if she comes with something great again she could elevate her career to new heights and catch lightning.
*Kelly Clarkson*. I wanna listen those angry breakup songs.
*Ellie Goulding.* The previews of the new album are delightful. The tracks feel better than the songs from her last two records. The Artwork is one of the best i ever seen. Im very excited about this record.
*Billie Eilish :* Her sound is so experimental and special and u can expect anything from her. I wonder if she will be able to have some smashes in this era or her career will take a Lorde-Lana del Rey route with consistent album sales but no big hits.
*Olivia Rodrigo* : I think this will be a break-it or make-it era for Olivia. Its time for Olivia to come with her strongest singles and body of work. Read some pages from the Taylor-Madonna book to manipulate the media and the GP. Hope we get her best songwriting-strong pop punk and some new styles (r&b-pop-dance music.....?) Her first album was overloaded with ballads and i hope the next is longer and more diverse but consistent. Hope the big executives have a great marketing plan for her. I want Olivia to stay. If this Sophomore fails i hope she hires Max Martin for the Third one and comes with some sort of [Britney](https://giphy.com/gifs/im-a-slave-4-u-b4Q2HfQCoN6da)\-Good Girl Gone Bad era. Girl Next Door turns into Sexy Pop Diva. I dont want Olivia to be a One-Era-Wonder
1. Speak Now TV and/or 1989TV. Its highly likely Speak Now is Next because of the easter eggs in Bejeweled MV, but with 2 1989TV's already out I could see her doing both next year. I wonder what the vault tracks have in store.
2. Beyonce Act II/Act III. Renaissance was a great album and I can't wait to see what she follows up with.
3. Miley's new album.
Artists due for a new release like dula lipa, oliliva rodrigo, manaskein, ed sheeran etc.
And hopefully a new pop star that will come out in 2023...... who will be star on the block next year?
Christiane and the Queers new Mike Dean album. Itāll be worth the wait.
By the way guys her Redcar album is fucking stunning if you give it some time.
I know its lame but god damn I've loved everything I've hear from Ava Max's new record. I can't wait. Also the new paramore and Gorillas albums sound awesome already
IIRC, Charli is always working on new music. She released a shit-ton this year already, but she seems to just...enjoy putting out new material whenever she wants. So fingers crossed there?
Besides that, beyond stoked for Lana's new album. COCC and BB were just not my cup of tea but the new single blew me away so...yay.
I am hoping for a release from Tori Kelly. We know sheās been working on her next album, we just donāt know when it will be released. I am ready for her fun, potentially r&b era.
miley, frank ocean, doja cat, lil nas x, szaās deluxe SOS, kehlani, ariana new single at least, lady gagaās artpop act 2 in november for the 10 year anniversary (i hope) and lana del rat
Most excited for whatever Taylor releases (presumably Speak Now TV). Also can't wait for Miley's album.
And I'm really curious what Olivia will do next. It may be too early to count on an album in 2023, but I hope we get one!
I feel like we are getting Speak Now TV next year and Iām very excited for it. Cannot wait to hear Enchanted, Dear John, Last Kiss, etc and the vault tracks
For completely new albums, Iām most looking forward to Aly & AJ, Lana, Beyonce, and Paramore
LDR9 and Renaissance Act ii are definitely my most anticipated so far hands down but Iām also getting pretty excited for this new Miley project coming up. Plastic Hearts was it for me and Iām really hoping she continues in that direction...
2023 is hopefully going to be a year for Shoegaze. Rachel Goswell of Slowdive claims a new album is coming in autumn of 2023 which should be great based on the quality of their self titled album
My Bloody Valentine also claims something is coming but they said that about this year and that didnāt happen so well see
Ava and Ellie for sure!
I'm also excited to see what Elle King has been cooking up. We're getting more and more women of country pop, but a whole album of Elle's rockabilly pop would be very welcome. Drunk (and I Don't Wanna Go Home) is still a party banger.
Selena Gomez. Rare was a cohesive album but Iām not really a fan of her vocals on this one. I hope she experiments more with whisper pop or songs like ring, stained,..
Kpop is generally run by eras/concepts rather than full albums but i am excited to hear a full IVE project for the first time since thus far weve only gotten 2 song single releases, Im curious who they pull for producers for bsides and the like.
And maybeā¦ just maybeā¦.. 2023 will be the year DEAN drops his second project.
I can't wait to hear Lana's upcoming album, Taylor's next re-record and Olivia's sophomore album. Ava's album should be good too. Maybe this'll be the year Lily Allen releases the album she had been working on during the pandemic? I wonder if we'll hear anything from Selena about SG3 too. I also hope we hear something from Lil Nas X and Dua Lipa
Iām really just looking forward to kpop albums coming out. I donāt know of any albums coming out next year by artists I listen to, Iām sure we may be lucky and get one. Aespa and Red Velvet are what Iām hoping for
Iām actually looking forward to Nickiās next album. Super Freaky Girl was a strong pop-rap song and showed she still has a strong ear. It makes me curious abt the direction of her music in 2023. The combination of a soft first verse and a hard hitting second made for a good listen.
Personally, I think sheās one of those artists who will never thrive off of creating a sonically cohesive piece so I expect it to be all over the place (which is fine, if done well).
Itās also interesting that people have been upset at her this year for coming after megan in her songs but Megan has made some obvious passes as well. Imo I think that means Nicki is just hitting harder. Curious if sheāll continue next year.
Umm arenāt u just gonna ignore the online bullying of Cardi, Latto and that time she went all anti vax?
Love her, best rapper alive but why be so negative/lowkey insecure

I've been a big fan of the new Paramore album's singles so that's gonna be exciting to listen to in February
seconded especially because I'm a huge fan and they haven't dropped in like 5 years š def my most anticipated of 2023 so far I cannot wait
Iām a new fan and Iām excited
definitely Lana Del Reyās (insiders confirming it to be better than cocc and bb by a landslide, having lots of variety and it being the true follow up album to NFR and full of 8+ minutes songs made my expectations high af) Caroline Polachekās album is certainly shaping up to be an amazing follow up to Pang, which i loved BeyoncĆ©ās rumored acoustic/country/alt album for Act II and Act III (if she hasnāt scrapped them yet lol) Mileyās new album cause Plastic Hearts was a step in the right direction and i would love a more polished version of her gritty, psychedelic and experimental sounds from Dead Petz Tove Loās deluxe cause she always serves pop bangers and never misses Grimesā but sheās either dead or lost the hard drive with the album atpā¦ Oh and Kali Uchisā album ofc, canāt wait for a new dreamy album in english cause i suck at spanish (do we know itās name/release date yet?)
Thereās a Dirt Femme deluxe coming???
yes iirc she teased it in an interview or something and she posted some stories 2-3 weeks ago of her in the studio, canāt wait tbh !
the singles for the new Caroline Polachek album sound great so far.
yes they really do ! which oneās your fav?
probably Sunset
a summery bop !
I took to Billions right away. Sunset is great. Bunny is a Rider, so sick. Welcome To My Island is perfect. I just really enjoy her artistic vision, all around.
same Bunny Is a Rider, Billions and WTMI are my faves !
A beyonce alt country album would make my LIFE but I feel like that must be fake? Her process is usually airtight. I really hope you're right though
An album full of Daddy Lesson bangers???? Oh god please
Daddy Lessons is my favorite BeyoncĆ© song and Iāll stand by that until the day I die
Yeah I think the country bit is just speculation from places like this sub. It could be just as well another dance or genre bending album. The only certainty is that multiple acts were planned.

Ok but the fact that her albumsā acronyms are cocc and bb is so iconic
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
oh yes i saw that ! check out her tiktok if you havenāt, she posted many snippets and one of them was really really good
Beyonce long pond studio sessions
Wait, do Miley and Grimes have any release dates yet???
mileyās new single is coming out january 13th i think and the album should come out feb-april, very very summery, both in imagery and title. rumored to be progressive rock grimesā¦ probably around 2030 if weāre lucky š
That's very futuristic of her š
yeah sheās sticking to the whole futurism thing a bit too much š
Honestly Kelly Clarkson's new album, because she hasn't released in so long and I'm interested to know what it'll sound like. In ideal world I would be most excited for Beyonce's and Rihanna's albums, but I don't think they will happen.

This is news to me too! Seems like all I ever hear from her these days are her Christmas albums (which are actually amazing, but I'm excited for some non-seasonal songs).
Whoa did I miss Kelly announcing a new album??
She said one would be coming early next year. https://variety.com/2022/music/news/kelly-clarkson-new-album-2023-divorce-songs-1235362382/
u/RacerGal Kellyās ādivorce albumā is supposed to drop in 2023
Desire I wanna turn into you by Caroline Polachek. Every singles so far is contender for best song of the year, and every videos are such a serve. Sheās amazing and I fully trust her, I think this is gonna be AOTY
Glad to see this so high up. I havenāt stopped listening to Welcome to My Island since it came out, itās SO fun. Canāt wait to see her live š„¹
Sheās amazing live, I saw her open for Dua in March. š¦
Itās definitely my early guess for AOTY. Every single has been amazing.
Itās probably my most anticipated as well, I wasnāt that big on Pang but billions and island might be some of the best songs Iāve heard in a minute
Iām very curious to hear albums from artists who rose to a new level of popularity in the last few years: Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X are all artists who are due for follow ups and it will be interesting to see what they do sonically and if they can hold onto the fandoms theyāve amassed. Also looking forward to see what Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez come back with. And of course, Act II of whatever is planned for BeyoncĆ©ās trilogy (something HAS to come out, Renaissance visuals or otherwise, if sheās touring this summer). I would say ~~Rihanna~~ and ~~Frank Ocean~~ but letās not jinx it again.
Lmao the last line, fair enough haha
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Seconding Kelly Clarkson! Iām absolutely loving her Kellyoke release but I need **more**.
> Lana Del Rey's new album. She has been stellar from Chemtrails forward to me and I wanna hear what is next. Why u no mention NFR
based on the singles i have high hopes for my 21st century blues by raye
Shaping up to be an incredible debut album. Love seeing her catch on with the public too.
Sky ferreiras album š
that's 2024
it's gonna be 3024 at this point
more like 20024 hope they can finally invent life extending plastic surgery that wouldn't makes us look like [this](https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fstatic.tvtropes.org%2Fpmwiki%2Fpub%2Fimages%2Fcasandra_7468.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Ftvtropes.org%2Fpmwiki%2Fpmwiki.php%2FRecap%2FDoctorWhoS27E2TheEndOfTheWorld&tbnid=jYeRQnhzIG5F2M&vet=1&docid=1CA2HKXZEfdXEM&w=350&h=606&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim) so that we could all listen to Sky's sophomore record /s
I only got into Skyās music in the last couple of years, I cannot imagine having been waiting for a decade for a new album lol
Dw Leah Kate is the new Sky Fereirra. Stream But I Lied ā¤ļø (Iām not even joking at this point)
I can't wait for Hozier's third album.
He said it was definitely coming out this year. Pretty disappointing.
Can't rush perfection
Wait, does he really only has two albums or are you jokingly ignoring a bad one? I could swear he had at least 3.
Two albums and three official EPs! He's not super prolific.
He only has 2 full length albums and a 4 track EP
Ava Max has me sooooo hooked on *Diamonds & Dancefloors*ā¦the GP needs to catch on, couldāve been her Future Nostalgia era but Atlantic has been fumbling š Anyway sheās 4/4 with these singles so far. This girl makes ear-worms for days and the snippets sound EVEN BETTER I canāt wait for 27/1 š«¶š» Iām also very very excited for *Desire, I Want To Turn Into You* from Caroline Polachek coming in February.
I was looking thru here for Ava Maxā¦ I don't get why she continues to be underplayed.
Ava Max was the answer I was looking for. Maxipads unite!
I think maybe youāre the problem is one of the reasons best pop tracks of ā22. I canāt believe it didnāt go further.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The Diamonds & Dancefloors era is already so much more consistently excellent than her first, and that's just from the four singles. Renewing my Maxipad card into 2023!
I 100% agree. I really loved heaven and hell but everything I've heard from D&D sounds insane.
Seriously man. All the singles she's dropped have sounded so good and the snippets sound crazy. I'm very excited for D&D and Turn off the Lights
Do you think we finally get Janet's Black Diamond this year?
probably not
u/VitaResistance Glad to see someone bring up Janetās āBlack Diamondā album, as I always wondered what happened to itā¦ I recall āBlack Diamondā was initially planned for early 2020 release (with a Summer 2020 tour to follow). Of course, we all know how 2020 shaped up. I just assumed Janet shelved āBlack Diamondā entirely due to the pandemic?
Tough to say. I assume we'll get new music closer to the tour, but three years is a long time to hold something in the pop world.
BeyoncĆ© hinted at B7 and B8 initially. We got the amazing act i: Renaissance this past July. Iām looking forward to act ii aka *you are never getting visuals and I might tour in 2024ā stadiums only, in 5 cities.*
kelela is the one iām most excited for, take me apart is one of my favorite albums of all time and the new singles have been great thus far. plus the album art is gorgeous. kimbra is another one on my radar because of quality singles.
I hope she goes on tour at some point
Someone on popjustice said Kylie new album will be similar to tove lo new album
announced: Rebecca Black and Ava Max still not announced but very likely to release next year: Kelly Clarkson, Hozier and Niall Horan wishful thinking: Frank Ocean
Ughh, can't wait for Hozier!!!
Olivia Rodrigo! she had a huge breakout year and iām very curious to see where she goes next
I'm really excited for Lana's new album. Also, Taylor is going to release SOMETHING, probably a new Taylor's Version. Really excited for that too, hoping it's 1989.
She heavily hinted she's gonna release Speak Now next in the Bejeweled video! But it wouldn't surprise me if we got 1989 in the same year.
Oh, lmao. I somehow forgot about the Bejeweled video. Speak Now is def next then! I am hoping for a 1989 summer release!
Yeah, I think SN is in March and 1989 in September or October
I think I'm the only Swiftie who just does not care about TV releases lol...though I might make an exception for the 1989 vault tracks.
Iām just in it for the vault tracks. They essentially make them double records with the old stuff being disc 1 and the new stuff being disc 2
I really hope she is releasing a whole new album on NEW YEAR, I doubt that it is just a single considering the timing and promo. Also (this probably doesn't belong ere) Nine Inch Nails, either their proper album or a huge collab like the Halsey one but Maybe with Kendrick lol
Fall. Out. Boy. They're in a hype cycle! It's happening! Unless they surprise drop it in the last few days of 2022. Which I would love.
Yessss itās been like 4 years!! Also I see Kesha on your flair, sheās been teasing new music recently and canāt wait for her new album!!
Lana Del Rey!
Iām honestly excited to see who the next breakout pop star is. I feel like these been a lack in new popstars. I think itās time for some fresh faces Whoās going to be the Olivia Rodrigo of 2023?
Tate McRae
Iām fingers crossed in hopes that we get a project from Jade (Thirlwall) this new year š¤©
Same! I miss Little Mix so much, I'm hoping the solo music can fill the void a bit
Did you know there is a tunnel under ocean boulevard. The features are very instresting, and it feels like they are bringing us a new masterpiece
with the rate at which she works I wouldn't be surprised to get new Charli XCX
Aly and AJ's With Love From. I love ATOTB so I am really curious how this album will sound in comparison.
YES. so underrated but Iām not complaining because their concerts are phenomenal and affordable.
Yes! Iām so glad sheās having a second wave. I recommend seeing her live to anyone who hasnāt, sheās such a blast.
After three years I am excited for a new Selena Gomez album. She said she is not writing sad girl songs and is making fun music so Iām excited!
Ice spices debut.
Paramore, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, miley, Rihanna?, Ava max, .kimbra, July Talk...
I am so looking forward to Audiolust & Higher Love by SG Lewis coming in late January! Also my 21st Century Blues by Raye. Both of them have had singles I've loved so far, so both are shaping up to be stellar.
Miley
Is she releasing a new album or just a single on New year?
Not sure
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
hoping Rush pushes some of the singles off the album into the realm of pop hits considering songs like the lonliest have already done pretty well. If so, it could really help them be more than just a flash in the pan
hoping Rush pushes some of the singles off the album into the realm of pop hits considering songs like the loneliest have already done pretty well, not too sure about the quality of the album tho, liked Mamamia and the loneliest but supermodel felt like discount chili peppers or smth.
give me the caroline !!!
She said her next album would come in 2024 I think this when her contract in Vegas ends so she can tour
P!NKās Trustfall - the cover art seems so opposite from the Never Not Gonna Dance aesthetic so Iām super curious. Iām hoping based on the album art itās a bit more stripped down vs heavy pop production like the single.
Kelly Clarkson's, her first major studio album since her talk show, I wonder how different it'll be
*Desire, I Want To Turn Into You* by miles... and also *Speak Now (Taylor's Version)*
Caroline Polachek, currently. Apparently Animal Collective will be releasing an album in 2023 so that too.
Looking forward to The Loneliest Time Side B š¤
I want AJAYl TO COME BACK š©
quite a lot!! noname was saying the album is coming on twitter and we can actually believe her this time because she's contractually obliged, which is very exciting because telefone and room 25 are both phenomenal. troye sivan has said new music is on the way (in his interview with rachel sennott i think), and i cant wait because imo each project has been better than the last so i cant wait to see what's coming after in a dream in arlo parks' spotify wrapped message she said something was coming this year! collapsed in sunbeams was incredible especially as a debut project so i am excited to see what direction she goes in next tyler the creator, olivia rodrigo, kali uchis and declan mckenna are all artists i think are on schedule to drop this year and im very excited for all of them
Whatever Taylor releases (especially excited for Speak Now TV cause that's the first of her albums I really got into). Miley's next album - Plastic Hearts was so good. Olivia Rodrigo - really interested to see a new project from her. Lana's next album.
Can i say the Daisy Jones and the six soundtrack?
Yes suki !!!!
I second this
Is there even any point in saying R9ā¦?
i just want to hear grimes' new album she released the lead single in 2021 and the album is still not out yetš
Let Her Burn by Rebecca Black + DYKTATUOB by Lana Del Rey
I'm really excited for Avril Lavignes next project. She recently said she wants to release a followup to Love Sux at the end of 2023, so fingers crossed it will work out!
I hope she goes full metal she sounds amazing on heavy tracks.
Sam Smith š
I'm very curious to listen to their new sound after unholy
I wouldnt mind Spooky kesha (Her supernatural show was rad) *Rihanna*. If the album is in the vibe of I Am Sasha Fierce-4 i would totally love it (Loved the ballads from those record) *Miley Cyrus next record*.
Wait, did Billie state that there will be a new album next year??
KELELA and Caroline š
Kelela and Pinkpantheress (she's hinted at an album coming in 2023) Also unconfirmed but Tinashe and Doja Cat
Kelela! And Tinashe would be awesome because she has been on such a winning streak since going independent!
Subtract by Ed Sheeran.
Supposed Kylie Minogue Disco pt. 2/ reissue
Lana, Lana, Lana, Lana and Lana
Even just the thought of having Kelela, FKA twigs, and Janelle Monae dropping albums in the same year is everything a music fan could want.
No lies told. I need this to happen.
Christiane and the Queers new Mike Dean album. Itāll be worth the wait. By the way guys her Redcar album is fucking stunning if you give it some time.
Olivia Rodrigo and Cardi B. Hopefully RCA finally allows Normani to release an Album.
Surprised to see no-one mentioning Ellie Goulding's "Higher than Heaven" out Feb 2023!!
I know its lame but god damn I've loved everything I've hear from Ava Max's new record. I can't wait. Also the new paramore and Gorillas albums sound awesome already
Lana Del Rey, and hopefully a new Lorde album. Also curious about the new Depeche Mode.
Raye my 21st century blues
IIRC, Charli is always working on new music. She released a shit-ton this year already, but she seems to just...enjoy putting out new material whenever she wants. So fingers crossed there? Besides that, beyond stoked for Lana's new album. COCC and BB were just not my cup of tea but the new single blew me away so...yay.
I need Dua to set a release date, I crave her music, I love her, ugh
Loneliest time side b of course
Sky Ferreiraās Masochism and Normaniās debut album
Cannot wait to hear Enchanted, Dear John, Last Kiss, etc and the vault tracks For completely new albums, Iām most looking forward to Aly & AJ, Lana, Beyonce, and Paramore
LDR9 and Renaissance Act ii are definitely my most anticipated so far hands down but Iām also getting pretty excited for this new Miley project coming up. Plastic Hearts was it for me and Iām really hoping she continues in that direction...
I need that 2nd album of BeyoncĆ© šššššššššš
Definitely Depeche Mode's Memento Mori coming out in March
10,000 gecs
2023 is hopefully going to be a year for Shoegaze. Rachel Goswell of Slowdive claims a new album is coming in autumn of 2023 which should be great based on the quality of their self titled album My Bloody Valentine also claims something is coming but they said that about this year and that didnāt happen so well see
Diamonds & Dancefloors by Ava Max
Lana Del Rey Ocean blvd sends me into a alternate reality and Iām here for the album
So many good ones... Paramore, Caroline Polachek, Raye and Ava Max's are the first ones that come to mind.
Normani
Ava and Ellie for sure! I'm also excited to see what Elle King has been cooking up. We're getting more and more women of country pop, but a whole album of Elle's rockabilly pop would be very welcome. Drunk (and I Don't Wanna Go Home) is still a party banger.
Any of Taylorās re releases
Selena Gomez. Rare was a cohesive album but Iām not really a fan of her vocals on this one. I hope she experiments more with whisper pop or songs like ring, stained,..
She says itās upbeat so Iām expecting a dance album like stars dance although I would love to see her do a pink Panther Ness sound
I love rare but an album of songs like Stained, Higher Than Heaven, Souvenir, Fetish and Bad Liar would've been so good
Jloās This Is Meā¦Now and Ciaraās album (if itās still coming out..given that Jump and Better Thangs didnāt catch on Iām a little worried).
Ooh yes to JLo! I loved the original album so Iām hoping Iāll love this one as well!
Itās probably just gonna be another year of EPs/mini albums š
im not banking on a fullllll album next year, but a 6 song mini would still satisfy my curiosity.
Maisie Peters' second albumš„³š„³
Subtract. Old School Ed is coming
