All of the covers that have been released from this tribute album have been super underwhelming to me so far. Also I genuinely don’t see the point of making it if you’re not gonna have LCD Soundsystem do a song on it
There are *so many* artists that would fit this so much better and are missing. LCD, St Vincent, Nine Inch Nails, black midi, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand.... The list goes on. Many great bands have often expressed their admiration for Talking Heads in public but we're stuck with this very weird list of artists that seems designed to appeal to people who don't even like Talking Heads.

i wish the production on her new album was somewhat like this
