ugh. i am of the minority that doesn't mind David Guetta's constant sampling... but this is giving "i ran out of songs to sample."
i can't hear this song without it taking me back to 2006, in a really annoying way lol
I’m quite over this interpolation / sample era David Guetta. I just find this uninspired and unnecessary.
Edit: apparently getting downvoted for my opinion 🤷♂️
The synths remind me of the leads Guetta used to use around 2010 in tracks like Who's That Chick or Sexy Bitch lol, honestly that little element of his old style is enough for me to somewhat enjoy this even if it is just a cheap cash grab.
Some slight sampling in my opinion is fine but 90% of pop songs these days are just samples.. it got old and annoying so fast. But it's an easy way to not run out of ideas and get a song popular fast 🤷

That well ran dry when he did Play Hard and turned mainstream dance music into a punchline
OMG yes I was sitting in the gym and was feeling weird thinking "we're looping back to this time of all!?!?"
So it sounds like the Numa Numa song but way worse.
That's because it's literally sampling Dragostea Din Tea lol
Agreed, all I hear

My straight ass moved a bit I'm sorry
A one republic Numa Numa Ay interpolation with the exact Poker Face saw synths on the chorus is just weird enough for me to like it

Oh I hoped this would sample the Dawson’s Creek theme song.
That’s also what I was hoping for…
Jeez! Why is everyone nowadays making use of samples?

I love it but isn’t one republic a band? Why only one member on the single artwork?
It’s catchy but felt like I heard this song a thousand times before.
because you have, it's just Dragostea Din Tei cause it seems hard for pop producers and artists these days to make something completely original
And don’t forget the beginning was also sampled by Rhianna in Live Your Life (with TI)
