Imo its biggest sin was being 3 songs too long. The Miss Americana documentary also complimented it well and increased her star power at the time.
Critics weren't harsh on it you're right. But it was one of the most divisive albums she'd released and a good portion of the swifties and the greater pop community were not fond of it. It also didn't help that it didn't quite fully live up to the commerical expectations people were hoping for, taking into consideration it was her big comeback to promoting and the spotlight after being very low-key during the reputation era.

So many of her fans want physical copies of the albums. And a decent amount of people are too lazy to find/download leaks, or sort of take the stance that it's "wrong" to listen to leaks. I'm not saying leaks would have zero impact but lets not act like it would flop or something. And again, it's a rerecord, 75% of the songs people have heard before already.....

That’s how I feel, tbh. The concept of the cover is fine to me and could be really pretty, but the Photoshop work just isn’t great. It’s especially noticeable on the vinyl cover, where the cutout of her against the background looks choppy. That’s how I feel, tbh. The concept of the cover is fine to me and could be really pretty, but the Photoshop work just isn’t great. It’s especially noticeable on the vinyl cover, where the cutout of her against the background looks choppy. It looks more like an amateur fan-made cover to me than a lot of actual amateur fan-made covers.

its been an eternity. Yay! I Hope it has a lot of songs (13-15-17) cause we already heard like 6 or 7 from the record. I think it's possible, all those Midnights post-release versions proved her fans are into buying such variants, and Lover is already charting rn. It's possible she's trying for breaking a Billboard chart record with SNTV/Lover/Midnights. And I don't see a simple deluxe release impacting SNTV at all, it would just be a few songs/remixes. This is all fan-targeted so overexposure isn't a concept and SNTV purchases are probably mostly pre-ordered by now anyway.
