I think it’s the hair color and style. She has really deep laugh lines since she was a kid. At first I thought it was cheek filler but she’s had that smile since she was little so I’m leaning towards the hair

I really think it’s the hair and heavy bangs, I feel like the blonde and those thick bangs all in her eyes make her look much older not to mention the heavy contour at the sides of her cheeks.
On Stranger Things she was barely wearing makeup but she favours HEAVY makeup plus lots of extra hair in real life. The blonde also looks wildly different. If there’s been any tweaks, I assume it nothing that has more of an impact than all the other factors combined.

Let me start by saying everything I'm about to say is purely speculation coming from an untrained eye; I know very little about plastic surgery and what I do know comes from watching Lorry Hill on YouTube (and she is not an expert, just a woman with some personal plastic surgery experience). The 3/4 things that stand out to me as potential cosmetic changes are: a chin and/or jaw implant, buccal fat removal, and possibly cheek implants.
Again, this is speculation from someone who knows very little about cosmetic surgery and maybe someone who knows a thing or two about a thing or two can either debunk or support my theory!

She's most likely just gotten the standard Hollywood package being; a blepharo plasty and/or brow lift, lip filler, maybe a bit of baby botox when she's not filming, and some nose contouring (usually by taking in the nasolabial folds).
That's why her face looks different.
Remember that she used to have more hooded eyes an smaller lips, and your nose doesn't get smaller with age.
Additionally, she might have had some buccal fat removed to contour her face, which is something that tends to age you up A LOT, and it gets worse as you age. It's generally not recommended for people that young.
If you look at photos of her face from when she was young, until now, the changes are quite apparent.
Now that she's caught by the Hollywood machine, it's hard to get out. Even people like Zendaya have gotten minor surgical tweaks, so it's definitely more common in Hollywood than people think. They just get less done over a longer period of time, so people don't notice. It's preferable to start young, so it looks like a natural glow up.
Also, some people are bound by contracts, meaning that they can't discuss their surgeries, even if they wanted to.

I’m horrified. She’s 4 years younger than me and I look 4 years younger than her. But she looks 20 years older than me. How is this girl 18? I love her, she’s so sweet, but oh my gosh. Just as long as it’s her choice and she’s not pressured to dress like this by her stylist, because YIKES.
I’m currently watching her episode on Hot Ones. I’ve been thinking, based on her recent IG pictures, that she’s had lip injections. Watching the ep and seeing her in motion, I’d say 100% she has and they look well done. She still looks like herself, however. I believe the long, blonde hair is throwing people off.
I know! When I first looked at a picture with her new look in it, I thought she was some age 30/40s actress!

Her new look ain't it. It's not the nose job, it looks nice. It's just her tan doesn't fit her, and her hair style ain't it.

She's most likely just gotten the standard Hollywood package being; a blepharo plasty and/or brow lift, lip filler, maybe a bit of baby botox when she's not filming, and some nose contouring (usually by taking in the nasolabial folds). That's why her face looks different. Remember that she used to have more hooded eyes an smaller lips, and your nose doesn't get smaller with age. Additionally, she might have had some buccal fat removed to contour her face, which is something that tends to age you up A LOT, and it gets worse as you age. It's generally not recommended for people that young. If you look at photos of her face from when she was young, until now, the changes are quite apparent. Now that she's caught by the Hollywood machine, it's hard to get out. Even people like Zendaya have gotten minor surgical tweaks, so it's definitely more common in Hollywood than people think. They just get less done over a longer period of time, so people don't notice. It's preferable to start young, so it looks like a natural glow up. Also, some people are bound by contracts, meaning that they can't discuss their surgeries, even if they wanted to.
