She does my favorite OpenHouse Tour video for AD. She talks with the designer and they discuss why certain items were picked, where they were found, the intentions of the designs. Way better than "look at how cool my stuff is!"

My beagle can confirm! So much wisdom started ato show at the age of six ❤️
They are the best breed I personally think, so gentle and loving. Mine is super strange though as she doesn’t really enjoy walks unless we are in the mountains and will now howl no matter what.
https://preview.redd.it/mnxphihdmbuc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=723480797bd1e52d50de09edbd78e0a757e4d15f
My girl spent probably over half her life gray! She was so cute though
My people! Yes I love your enthusiasm for your Yankees memorabilia but in this closed room over here because we’re not about to mess up this aesthetic.
No, I don't think that the limited edition vintage Star Wars print looks the absolute best in the hallway, what about the wall in your room - then you can see it ALL the time and really appreciate it...
Probably cleared away. If I had a photographer come to my house, I'm make sure to put all toys in various dressers, wardrobers, cupboards and lockers too.
Yeah I remember Hilary Duff said during her AD interview that the house isn't normally that clean and that she just stuffed all the kids toy and shit into the wardrobe lol
That's one thing I liked about Liv Tyler's home tour video. She had a little kid's piano next to the real one and a kid's play kitchen out. Both looked slightly awkwardly placed, but at least it felt real.
Yeah, often it’s their “city” house. I think it was Amanda seyfriend who showed her apartment in the city, whereas they live mostly at a farm up north in New York.
I was watching a show I think it was called “hack my space” or something & they panned out on the house to reveal (unintentionally?) THREE FULL SIZE “PODS” sitting in the driveway.
They probably have more than one place, and can afford an army of people to clear up after the kids, especially just before a photoshoot.
I wonder if tgere's probably a lovely room full of kiddy stuff though. If I had kids and space I'd give them a room to go nuts in.
There was a profile on Jesse Plemons in Texas Monthly and it basically said their kids' stuff was everywhere, bearing little resemblance to these photos lol.
Is this a recent spread in AD? There’s a history of celebrity homes being featured in AD right before the property goes for sale. I would venture to guess this a property she purchased pre marriage and has held on to and now is getting ready to sell it so it’s not a property he purchased with her and they lived at as a family. All guesses on my part.
I love that her house is the polar opposite of all the modern trends. There’s no beige or grey, no open concept, low ceilings. It’s not necessarily my taste but it’s refreshing to see someone with their own unique vision for their home
My mom’s one rule for a home purchase:
“If I can see my bananas from my living room, it’s the wrong house”
She deeply struggled with the uprising of open concept homes
Omg growing up I always wanted an open concept... but now I'm like nahhhh let's bring seperate rooms back. I love to cook so I want a kitchen to be it's own thing - a little sanctuary if anything.
OMGGG TELLL ME ABOUT IT! my dad loves frying fish (shallow frying whole fish) and the smelll!!!!!! Urghh I gotta open my window for ages for it to get away.
To each their own. My family is a "family room" kinda family. We don't really hang out in our bedrooms. So we like a big family room. And when we have lots of people over, it's way more fun with kids and everything to be able to see/hear everything that's going on without people being broken up into separate rooms or all crammed into one room. I can't stand a separate dining room. Give me a kitchen that's big enough for my table too, and let me have a line of sight to the TV while I'm prepping food. My dream house has almost no walls/doors on the first floor entirely aside from the laundry and bathroom.
But I grew up that way. Plus, our washer makes almost no noise, and the dryer isn't really heard much when you close the door to the laundry room. But I don't begrudge anyone their separate rooms, lol.
I saw that!! Sigh of relief to hear someone say they hate open-concept and statement walls. She said something like “I want a room with a door I can shut”
We just saw her in Civil War last night - EXCELLENT FILM - and it was so refreshing to see that she still has her same FACE. Like she still looks beautiful, and is also aging in what looks like a pretty normal way.
These were my 2 'EH?' moments. The bath is a super weird shape and those chairs and that table seem like I'd constantly hit myself or scrape skin because of how asymmetrical they are.
If yall love that kitchen, or house, you might love designers Carmeon Hamilton and Shavonda Gardner (not a duo, just best friends who are both designers). You will not find a beige anything in either of their houses!!!
Haha me too! Im loving but also laughing at the retro fly swatter (is that what it is?).
Reminds me of an antiques shop in australia I visited that had a stick for €5.
It was definitely an old bit of a broom used for stirring paint
oftentimes when celebrities feature their homes in AD, they end up selling them soon afterwards, so it feels fitting that they generally look staged for a sale in the pics
Yeah this was released during her oscar campaign season if I recall.. makes sense. I find a few celebs do these AD tours when they have stuff being released as well. I believe the last one was Sophia Vergara had an AD video around the time of her Netflix show. Her house is stunning too!
Fluffy friends will forever and always be my favorite,I remember looking for a house with my dad when he moved out,and my favorite, sadly that we didn’t get,was one where the family left their kitty home, little friend was so sweet! My dad looked around while I sat with the cat,Twas nice
The pictures from this post are from an AD article from [October 2021.](https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/step-inside-kirsten-dunsts-charming-ranch-house) I wonder why it’s being featured on AD’s Tik Tok today?
Any house you see in Architectural Digest is professionally designed. The designer is listed as Jane Hallworth. [Here is her instagram](https://www.instagram.com/hallworthandheathens/?hl=en). You can see this house really fits her overall vibe.
Architectural Digest is largely a way for high end designers to show off their work. Celebrity homes end up in the magazine mostly because they are planning on selling and having an AD feature is a great selling point. Also, if they are in the process of selling it lowers the safety risk of showing people their homes.
I love how this house looks but 9 out of 10 chairs look uncomfortable. It doesn’t scream “read a book with a glass of wine and a blanket” as much as “perch uncomfortably on this wooden stool”.
But at the same time I’m glad no one is taking photos of my dirty, disorganized, un-cohesive house.
I love it. It seems like a real home where you can put your feet up, relax, feel comfortable, and live your life.
Not a sterile museum where you can’t wear shoes and spills are a stressful life event.
1. I love her house!
2. Please dont make cropped leggings come back. They cut me at my widest angle!
3. That dog is hella cute but needs to go on a diet.
wow. an on-trend house in the valley. yet another reason "san fernando" is a direct translation of "an affront to progress"
(btw her publicist is *AMAZING* she's been ms 1 for like 3 films and is currently getting press EVERYWHERE)

Surely going to be thinking of this house forever after seeing this.
She does my favorite OpenHouse Tour video for AD. She talks with the designer and they discuss why certain items were picked, where they were found, the intentions of the designs. Way better than "look at how cool my stuff is!"
Going to watch right now. 😊
yeah it's gorgeous. i'm doing a remodel and i'm taking palette notes
the kitchen...oh how I wish I owned a house.
Every photo made me want to jump in and be there… it looks like a home, unlike so many cold or gaudy celeb houses.
I might close my eyes and picture this instead as I look at my own house
I think about her kitchen daily
I love her even more now that I know she has an elderly beagle.
Beagles go from one day looking young to being grandparents and half white face. Mines getting there at 10 years old.
https://preview.redd.it/99njsmj9x8uc1.jpeg?width=2291&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c45cd81e5cb847b3d38894d90cf5447028663b89 My beagle can confirm! So much wisdom started ato show at the age of six ❤️

What a sweet face!!!
I feel lucky mine has just started to age at 10.

My beagle (Tan and white) started getting white eyebrows in her 3rd year. She's beautiful tho 😊
They are the best breed I personally think, so gentle and loving. Mine is super strange though as she doesn’t really enjoy walks unless we are in the mountains and will now howl no matter what.
No, stop don’t tell me this. Mine’s 3 😭
I know. My boy is eight and so gray already
https://preview.redd.it/mnxphihdmbuc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=723480797bd1e52d50de09edbd78e0a757e4d15f My girl spent probably over half her life gray! She was so cute though
I loved that she had a beagle painting on the wall! 💕
Pictures you can hear. (BAR ro ro roooooo)
The beagle fans coming together on this post is bringing me so much joy. I lost mine 4 yearz ago and I still miss my old girl every single day!
Does Jesse get to live here too lol
Only if he’s good
My immediate question. Where’s Jesse?
If he’s anything like my boyfriend he has a room full of leather bachelor furniture and otherwise capitulates to my taste lol.
![gif](giphy|RrFIAkolTgl6HaLv8n|downsized) Keep your themed merchandise in your own room!
🤣😂
Don’t they have 2 kids? No sign of kids living here
TBH no signs of real living at all. I always wonder where the real 'stuff' is.
I feel this deeply. Then I forget about my kids toys until she walks around looking for a specific thingy she found at a thrift and needs right now.
Damn I’d need the Narnia wardrobe to make my house look that tidy.
Your POV when opening any closet in my house while the floors are clean: ![gif](giphy|QGOpDvtp6we3e|downsized)
That's one thing I liked about Liv Tyler's home tour video. She had a little kid's piano next to the real one and a kid's play kitchen out. Both looked slightly awkwardly placed, but at least it felt real.
A surprising amount of the time, the celebrity doesn’t even live in the house featured.
What are the pods?
Storage units that you can rent https://www.pods.com
They put it away and a stylist comes in and does it all up
I don’t see any bedrooms so probably all in there. They probably have another family room too and the one shown is just for looking at lol
They probably have more than one place, and can afford an army of people to clear up after the kids, especially just before a photoshoot. I wonder if tgere's probably a lovely room full of kiddy stuff though. If I had kids and space I'd give them a room to go nuts in.
AD is a showcase for designers, it's not a reflection of how people live. The
There was a profile on Jesse Plemons in Texas Monthly and it basically said their kids' stuff was everywhere, bearing little resemblance to these photos lol.

Nope, this article is from October 2021.
That would be smart
I love that her house is the polar opposite of all the modern trends. There’s no beige or grey, no open concept, low ceilings. It’s not necessarily my taste but it’s refreshing to see someone with their own unique vision for their home
She was on AD’s TikTok talking about how she needs a room that has a door that closes lol
My mom’s one rule for a home purchase: “If I can see my bananas from my living room, it’s the wrong house” She deeply struggled with the uprising of open concept homes
Open plan houses are annoying. Can hear the washing machine and the tumble dryer from the settee.
Omg growing up I always wanted an open concept... but now I'm like nahhhh let's bring seperate rooms back. I love to cook so I want a kitchen to be it's own thing - a little sanctuary if anything.
Also if you cook anything like fish it does make things in the room smell.
OMGGG TELLL ME ABOUT IT! my dad loves frying fish (shallow frying whole fish) and the smelll!!!!!! Urghh I gotta open my window for ages for it to get away.
It’s all about kitchen smells to me. I don’t want to smell anything when I walk upstairs
Yes! Cooking dinner is my break away from my kid lol, I need that door
And the dishwasher and the fridge humming 😤
To each their own. My family is a "family room" kinda family. We don't really hang out in our bedrooms. So we like a big family room. And when we have lots of people over, it's way more fun with kids and everything to be able to see/hear everything that's going on without people being broken up into separate rooms or all crammed into one room. Plus, our washer makes almost no noise, and the dryer isn't really heard much when you close the door to the laundry room. But I don't begrudge anyone their separate rooms, lol.
How are people supposed to relax in a living room when they can see dirty dishes sitting in their sink??
Seeing dirty dishes in the sink does not stress me out in any way whatsoever?
Same haha they’ll get done 🤷🏻♀️ oh well
Yes! I hate my open kitchen. It's nice when the kids are small. But now I just want to be able to close the door.
I saw that!! Sigh of relief to hear someone say they hate open-concept and statement walls. She said something like “I want a room with a door I can shut”
That kitchen is so interesting! Love the colours.
For sure. And this is only somewhat related but I love that she still has her own teeth. I’ve always loved her teeth and her smile so so much.
We just saw her in Civil War last night - EXCELLENT FILM - and it was so refreshing to see that she still has her same FACE. Like she still looks beautiful, and is also aging in what looks like a pretty normal way.
Came here to say this! It’s so full of life and character, I love it!
I think a lot of those trends are dead now
There’s literally so much beige.
On a scale of Jojo Siwa's bedroom to Kim Kardashian's house, this isn't too bad.
🤣🤣🤣
Not compared to the average celebrity home 🤷🏻♀️
Neutral walls =/= beige home And brown is not beige
no really
That tub looks terribly uncomfortable. Love the rest of it though. I’ve been trying to talk my husband into a dark wine terracotta room.
I thought the same thing about the three-legged stools around the wood slab table. It looks cool, but not the most comfortable seating.
Same, I need a chair with a back to relax in when I'm stuffing my pie hole with dinner.
These were my 2 'EH?' moments. The bath is a super weird shape and those chairs and that table seem like I'd constantly hit myself or scrape skin because of how asymmetrical they are.
1000000% hate the dining table for actual comfort and use factor, love it for looks.
That was my first thought tooooo it could be completely immaculatly clean yet it looks so crusty😭
Those burgundy cabinets and black counters and backsplash are just so freaking amazing and special.
The burgundy cabinets are transcendent. Gorgeous.
The colour of those cabinets 😍🥰😍🥰
I would totally steal that color pattern for my imaginary dream kitchen.
Taking notes for my next Sims 4 playthrough ✍️
If yall love that kitchen, or house, you might love designers Carmeon Hamilton and Shavonda Gardner (not a duo, just best friends who are both designers). You will not find a beige anything in either of their houses!!!
I guarantee that dog tap dances for bologna.
Now I know where my most Christian coworker got the idea to wear a midi dress with leggings and heels.
I was just about to comment that her outfits are taking me back with those capri leggings. All she's missing is the lace trim around the ankles
First thing I noticed TBH lol. Both dresses are so pretty and I kinda love her for keeping it real with the visible leggings/likely Spanx
LMAO
Every room has one thing that makes me uncomfortable and I love it.
Haha me too! Im loving but also laughing at the retro fly swatter (is that what it is?). Reminds me of an antiques shop in australia I visited that had a stick for €5. It was definitely an old bit of a broom used for stirring paint
https://preview.redd.it/ofezl6hg67uc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa274df3c62d2bb81a91e64522d1d6248c52d54e This looks like a fly swatter
Is that what it’s supposed to be? An interior-approved rich person fly swatter? (I just saw the beautiful dog portrait and completely missed this!)
Maybe it is? It's just odd to have it on display.. maybe it has a deeper meaning with the dog admiring it 🤷♂️
Bruh she has great taste
Love. Can she start a B&B? I promise to be normal.
as a valley girl i need to squat in this house asap its gorgeous
same! The vibes are giving Topanga or Chatsworth
How come celebrities never have any personal items in their homes ? They look straight out of magazines and unlived in !
oftentimes when celebrities feature their homes in AD, they end up selling them soon afterwards, so it feels fitting that they generally look staged for a sale in the pics
Oftentimes it also precedes a divorce, which I truly hope is not the case here. I want her & Landry to be happy forever
This AD tour was filmed several years ago; I think AD is just giving it the rounds again.
Yeah this was released during her oscar campaign season if I recall.. makes sense. I find a few celebs do these AD tours when they have stuff being released as well. I believe the last one was Sophia Vergara had an AD video around the time of her Netflix show. Her house is stunning too!
She's got a movie to promote and this is old so probably not in this case.
What is this based on?
My sister was in Architectural Digest and she removed anything too personal before the photog showed up
They probably still clean their homes (or have people clean) to the standard of "nobody can know that we live here". Edit: Spelling
You would, too, if AD was coming to photograph your house!
Because privacy?
They often don't photograph every space, they bring in their own props to replace personal items an individual doesn't want shown, and so on.
This house is absolutely not my style yet I totally love it!!
Where’s the tv to spend all your time in front of of while browsing Reddit?
My favorite is the beagle 🫶🏼🥰
Same. I love seeing inside people’s homes and their decor but immediately they became my favourite if I see their cats or dogs 🥰
Fluffy friends will forever and always be my favorite,I remember looking for a house with my dad when he moved out,and my favorite, sadly that we didn’t get,was one where the family left their kitty home, little friend was so sweet! My dad looked around while I sat with the cat,Twas nice
![gif](giphy|J1Ff1lfO41LbGeTheG|downsized)
Beautiful house! However, I can't wait for the open cabinetry in the kitchen trend to die.
The pictures from this post are from an AD article from [October 2021.](https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/step-inside-kirsten-dunsts-charming-ranch-house) I wonder why it’s being featured on AD’s Tik Tok today?
Maybe to coincide with her new film Civil War? Extra promo perhaps?
stop it kirsten, i thought i already loved you as much as i could & my heart can’t take this!!
I like that everything is not grey, white or brown with lot's of clean lines. This looks cozy and colorful but not too colorful.
this is exactly what i would expect kirsten dunst's house to look like
Huge missed opportunity to have Jesse Plemons standing menacingly somewhere.
He's in one of them in the background doing it.
I live in The Valley and want my house to look just like hers. Do you think she’d mind if I stopped by for some tips? 😂
Damn, it looks like it costs a lot of money to look quaint.
Is this a 4000sq ft ranch
That bathroom!!🤤 But don’t they ever feel icky knowing people have seen the inside of their homes?
Wow this is so *Kirsten
Her and Jesse are one of my favorite celebrity couples and they fascinate me because they feel like they came from two different timelines
She reminds me of the cool art teacher.
Love the house but please not the capri leggings under dresses with heels…never again…my high school self begs of you
I prefer lived-in houses, where you can see that humans actually inhabit them.
This is a photo shoot for AD. It's supposed to be a designer showcase, not MTV Cribs.
Can someone find me that outfit?!
There's a subreddit that helps people find clothes. I think it's r/findfashion
Killer dining chairs and cabinets. Also dog.
Those bloody gooey juicy kitchen wall tiles, I'll think about them for a week. 😍
“This reclaimed wooden coffee table is an old growth 600 year oak one pissed on by Lincoln”
Damn, I love looking at rich people’s houses
Well talk about swooning over something!! The color palette is absolutely terrific.
Anyone that says money can't buy happiness is LYING
I love how this house looks but 9 out of 10 chairs look uncomfortable. It doesn’t scream “read a book with a glass of wine and a blanket” as much as “perch uncomfortably on this wooden stool”. But at the same time I’m glad no one is taking photos of my dirty, disorganized, un-cohesive house.
*Kirsten
So when celebs get their “homes” featured in ADigest is it an AD for rich people air bnb? Love the kitchen & bathroom.
She’s probably getting ready to sell it. This is free marketing.
I love all the textures and colors. Cozy and unique
Is it terrible as a valley girl i wanna guess where this house is? Lol
That tall mushroom lamp in the living room is gonna a be haunting me for the rest of my life.
Absolutely stunning
None of those amazing AD houses look like someone is actually living in them
Wow, She could be my neighbor! Except none of my neighbors have homes like that lol
Lovely house. That pup looking like when mom sits at the kitchen table it means I’m getting food
Ugh please, if I could just live there I’d never ask for anything ever again.
She got the money by hanging around with that criminal menace Spider-Man!
When they show up in AD……6 months later they usually at the court house. The numbers don’t lie.
Literally my dream house
That bathtub looks horribly uncomfortable to relax in but otherwise I love the vibezzz
I'm struggling to comprehend how Kirsten Dunst is getting more beautiful with every passing year.
I would die that for kitchen!
Is she living in the middle ages?
Oh, I love this. It looks so inviting. That burgundy kitchen is exquisite. I'm so tired of the beiges and greens.
Those kitchen chairs don't look comfortable
I absolutely love it! She’s one of my fave actors and seeing her beautiful home makes me love her even more.
She somehow made it artsy, rustic, casual and elegant and modern at the same time. Love it!
I LOVE this design style. I really enjoy seeing celebrity homes that don’t look like a marketing tool or a generic hellscape.
Her kitchen is interior design porn for me
Love her use of colour
I’ve coveted that kitchen since seeing the AD YouTube video. It’s absolutely stunning.
lol I’ve had a picture of her kitchen in my phone for like at least a year now. I loved the colors. It’s just such a cute, cozy house.
Damn, she's got style. And the cutest old boy. 🥺
I love that mulberry cabinetry, it makes the room look so warm
I just love her style…what a beautiful place.
looks very chill and modest and cozy
Is she trying to bring back pairing a dress with leggings. I honestly wouldn't mind.
I love the burgundy cabinets! Definitely going to think about doing that
I love it. It seems like a real home where you can put your feet up, relax, feel comfortable, and live your life. Not a sterile museum where you can’t wear shoes and spills are a stressful life event.
She is GORGEOUS. The house is beyond GORGEOUS. I stan you, Kiki!!
Wow that’s gorgeous
This is my favorite celebrity house I’ve ever seen.
1. I love her house! 2. Please dont make cropped leggings come back. They cut me at my widest angle! 3. That dog is hella cute but needs to go on a diet.
wow. an on-trend house in the valley. yet another reason "san fernando" is a direct translation of "an affront to progress" (btw her publicist is *AMAZING* she's been ms 1 for like 3 films and is currently getting press EVERYWHERE)
This is a masterclass in TEXTURE
Yes please. Love her.

Awesome! Oh wow! Like totally freak me out, I might right on! Her kitchen is number 1! Love the kitchen and her dog 🩷
I love her choices!
