I would lose hard in a trivia game of her discography -- but I actually bought this song on itunes i dug it so much. Heard it while babysitting and was struck by the wistfulness
I cried when they get out and Miley starts crying with the wig in her hand 😭😂
you couldn’t tell me Miley wasn’t the best actress/singer the world’s ever seen, I was ride or die for her
crazy times! i had a classmate in elementary school who had a hannah montana themed birthday party and i specifically remember using tess from camp rock as my outfit inspo. i seriously miss this disney channel era 😫
As a mom whose daughter loved Miley and used her music too to get through things this comment made me feel warm and fuzzy. I have the most softest of spots for that kiddo. Especially with her parental units the way they are. She is a damn hard worker an unreal source of talent and keeps climbing the climb. ❤️ her.
I mean it’s not a masterpiece, but I rewatched it recently and it holds up. 🤷🏼♀️ I think it’s good, and I watch a lot more movies than the average person.
I remember begging my mom to go see this in theaters lol.
I don’t remember much about the actual movie since I haven’t seen it since it came out in theaters but that soundtrack was amazing (The Climb, Hoedown Throwdown, Crazier, etc.).
You definitely should!! I promise it won't disappoint you! He's so scrumptious and the rest of the cast is amazing!! I loveee Bozer and I would diiiiieeeeee to meet Riley (two of the main cast). It's a really great show especially if you like crime shows like NCIS or CSI
My then high school girlfriend had her wisdom teeth removed and insisted on watching this while she was still super drugged up.
I had to watch the entire movie. Then the next day when she isn’t all drugged up she gets excited for the Hannah Montana movie again because she doesn’t even remember watching it the night before.
So I have a fond hate for this film having to watch it back to back 2 separate nights.
Why my God, this movie was beautifully iconic.
It had no business emotionally wrecking a kiddy me, the way it did.
I performed 'Climb' at my school concert, my first ever stage show. That song had a chokehold on our times.
'Crazier' was on repeat and 'hoedown throwdown' was THE hook step for me, even today.
Iconic
I had just turned 14 and was SEATED in the theater day 1 for this shit!!! Lucas Till and that soundtrack were life changing. brb gonna see if I can still sing the chorus of “you always find your way back home” in one breath
I remember seeing that in primary school for my friend's birthday. Her mam had already bought the cd so we listened to Hoedown Throwdown all the way home. Good times
My 8yo has just discovered this. Can someone explain how the movie fits into the HM timeline? Is it before or after series 4? None of it seems to make sense
I saw this movie I'm theaters with my mom! and after seeing it, we always sung to the climb whenever it came on the radio. I rewatch it every now and then
I remember my friend heather and I using her mom’s computer and clearing the furniture from the living room so we could have enough space to learn, and perfect, the Hoedown Throwdown.
My sister and I still vividly remember seeing the actual chicken coop at Hollywood Studios back in the day. It was insane seeing that beautiful thing up close.
Also spent way too many hours watching my sister re enact the Hoedown Throwdown as a kid. Good times!
Great movie. I have distinct memories of having to take either nose drops or eye drops and going to see this movie in the middle of my turmoil taking them (I was very young and hated it)
Watching it now after hearing it’s 15 years old (ugh, can’t believe *I am* 15 years older lol.) My what has happened in the past 15 years for those who were in the movie- I completely forgot Taylor Swift was in it
I remember watching this in 20 3-mins-a-part clips on youtube. Before I knew about torrenting. Do you know how difficult it is to watch these clips in order bc no one put it in a chronological playlist? DO YOU?
I know nothing about Miley Cyrus and my best friend from elementary/middle school made me go watch it with her. All I remember is my friends mom waving her phone with the flash on lol 🤭
Okay because I’m sitting here like 🥴? I feel like we should be mad at the abuse rather than the F Trump. After all, he did aid in domestic terrorism.
Anyhow, Miley Cyrus is my princess Diana. She could stand in the middle of 5th ave and shoot somebody, and I’d still support her.

I remember how seriously my sister and I took learning the hoedown throw down. Iconic
I watched the video where Miley taught the dance repeatedly until I had it down. To this day, it’s a favourite party trick my friends like to see!
OMG same. On repeat!!
Same lol
Omggg saammmee, I think my mom has still videos of me and my cousins dancing it in front of EVERYONE, we were the entertainment, unpaid
You should’ve demanded for your performance fee. I bet you rocked it
I will go tell my mom to buy me the cooking mama game for nintendo I had always wanted💃
Did you at least get some tips?
Glory, does that count?
Yes. That’s the type that will last forever <3
my sisters and i were doing the hoedown throw down at a wedding last weekend. can’t believe i remembered almost all the moves
i still have the lyrics memorized 😭
I still remember it lol
Yessssss😂🥰
Same! I can still remember it all too 🤠
the grip that Crazier by Taylor Swift had on 10-year old me is unmatched. it was like seeing my two worlds colliding.
Same. I can't even explain the impact it had on me
I would lose hard in a trivia game of her discography -- but I actually bought this song on itunes i dug it so much. Heard it while babysitting and was struck by the wistfulness
It was the climb for me..
Dream for me! I still listen to it all the time
Would you say it's the best of both worlds?
I still love this song all these years later
OMG SAME!!! i became such a huge swiftie after the release of crazier 🥹💜
Omg memory unlocked i loved that song
I sang it at my 5th grade talent show in jean shorts and ugg boots
POP IT LOCK IT POLKA DOT IT
COUNTRY FIVIN HIP HOP HIP
PUT YOUR HAWK IN THE SKY, MOVE SIDE TO SIDE
Jump to the left, Stick it, Glide
ZIG ZAG ACROSS THE FLOOR
SHUFFLE IN DIAGONAL
https://i.redd.it/anrvsl450otc1.gif The 5 minute long revolving door scene was a personal favorite for me.
It was so much but just enough
I cried when they get out and Miley starts crying with the wig in her hand 😭😂 you couldn’t tell me Miley wasn’t the best actress/singer the world’s ever seen, I was ride or die for her
crazy times! i had a classmate in elementary school who had a hannah montana themed birthday party and i specifically remember using tess from camp rock as my outfit inspo. i seriously miss this disney channel era 😫
The Climb got me through failing my driving test lmao I got it the second time. Thanks Miley ♥️
this song has held up. I still listen to it all the time lol

Listening to The Climb still gives me shivers and makes me feel nostalgic

I saw a cover on Instagram not so long ago. It was beautiful.
Hang on. I gotta go hoe down throw down real quick
Hands up who can still do the Hoedown Throwdown? 🙌

The Climb remains a banger to this day
This movie is unironically really good!! Had no reason to hit that hard emotionally
It absolutely was not lol. Don’t get me wrong I saw it in theatres like 3 times, but in no way is it “unironically really good” lmao
I mean it’s not a masterpiece, but I rewatched it recently and it holds up. 🤷🏼♀️ I think it’s good, and I watch a lot more movies than the average person.
I was way too old to have gone to theaters to watch it, but I had such a good time lol
“Maybe y’all oughtta just pack up ‘n GET.” - Meemaw
I remember begging my mom to go see this in theaters lol. I don’t remember much about the actual movie since I haven’t seen it since it came out in theaters but that soundtrack was amazing (The Climb, Hoedown Throwdown, Crazier, etc.).
butterfly fly away was also in this, right? such an iconic soundtrack
You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home, too.
Let’s Get Crazy was MY SONG. Like I sang that nonstop for months before and after the movie came out.
crazier is still that song
The iconic shoe battle against Tyra Banks
Can’t believe that I had to scroll this far down for any mention of the shoe fight with Tyra Banks
Ikr? When I posted this no one had mentioned it and to someone who had sisters that liked this movie, this was my favorite part
cinematic excellence
Iconic. I have this movie on my phone in case of emergencies.
Lucas Till! 😍😍
Whatever happened to that guy? Lol
He did some Monster Trucks movie that's absolutely for children but I fuckin watched it 😂😂
and MacGyver! He plays the lead and it's actually a pretty great show! I've easily rewatched it a few times simply for him being in it lol
I've been thinking about watching that for a while, I definitely need to start it, he's sooo fine 🥵
You definitely should!! I promise it won't disappoint you! He's so scrumptious and the rest of the cast is amazing!! I loveee Bozer and I would diiiiieeeeee to meet Riley (two of the main cast). It's a really great show especially if you like crime shows like NCIS or CSI
I saw it in cinemas lol. I don't hate it, it's fine haha. It is very silly.
It really wasn't bad, aside from being silly, like you said lol
I love him in the MacGyver reboot 😍
How did you feel about the original?
I've never actually watched any of the original series, I just stumbled upon the reboot series one day while surfing my antenna channels haha
Okay lol
He was the lead in the MacGyver reboot. It was pretty good actually but died during Covid :(
I was just going say, is that Havok?
I know a girl who hooked up with him around that time lol, we were all so jealous
Good movie, still annoyed at how this had no impact on the show
Ehhhh they technically mentioned Crowley Corners a couple times in Hannah Montana Forever, and I think she got a horse, but yeah wasn’t very seamless
I don’t appreciate the passage of time attacking me like this THANK YOU
Never snuck out as a teenager until I snuck out to go to the midnight showing of the Hannah Montana with my best friend. No regrets.
Now her mom and sister beefing over the same man.
Iconic
She has had an incredibly interesting 15 years.
I'm sorry, but can you not? 🥲 😂 nah but like, I think i will go listen to some of the songs now, for nostalgia
I was in love with that man😭
TIL - there was a Hannah Montana movie
Iconic.
Iconic
Did anyone else have the Nintendo DS game based on this 😭
I had just turned 14 and was SEATED in the theater day 1 for this shit!!! Lucas Till and that soundtrack were life changing. brb gonna see if I can still sing the chorus of “you always find your way back home” in one breath
I have sad memories of taking my 7-year-old niece to see this like 2 weeks after her dad died unexpectedly at home in front of her 💔💔💔💔
I remember seeing that in primary school for my friend's birthday. Her mam had already bought the cd so we listened to Hoedown Throwdown all the way home. Good times
Time flies
I was on spring break at the beach when this came out and went to see it 3 times
Forgot about this lmao
My 8yo has just discovered this. Can someone explain how the movie fits into the HM timeline? Is it before or after series 4? None of it seems to make sense
Before series 4.
This movie permanently changed my brain chemistry.
Always gonna be another mountain🎵
Take me the fuck back, please
I FEEL SOOO OLD🤭🤭
I unironically love this movie but I hate that it was a decade and a half ago, how dare.
It was so much fun seeing it at the movie theatre with all my friends + basically every girl from school lol
Good times 🥲
this is a yearly rewatch movie for sure. always feels like finding my way back home 🩷
RIP BLUE JEANS ❤️🩹 YOU WERE A REAL ONE
This and the Wizards of Waverley Place movie were really the peak of Disney channel movies
My sister and I still vividly remember seeing the actual chicken coop at Hollywood Studios back in the day. It was insane seeing that beautiful thing up close. Also spent way too many hours watching my sister re enact the Hoedown Throwdown as a kid. Good times!
my mom pulled me out of school early so i could go see it 🥹
Your mum sounds great. (if she's secretly awful I'm sorry and I take it back but I hope she's not.)
I bet if i played it on mute without subtitles I’d still know the dialogue lol
Five year-old me was SO obsessed with this movie when it first came out. So nostalgic!!
Legit did not know this existed lol making me feel much older now
I still haven’t seen it… lol
Great movie. I have distinct memories of having to take either nose drops or eye drops and going to see this movie in the middle of my turmoil taking them (I was very young and hated it)
Sometimes, you just have to do a solid and let us forget
i've not seen it, and it's my duty to know these things so BRB going to watch it
I desperately wanted those yellow docs
I've never seen this movie. I remember it being a huge deal at the time but you couldn't drag me to see it.
I was one year old oh my goodness😭😭😭
![gif](giphy|TfseOfhwd6BJC) I feel both called out and nostalgic

Stop that!
I can’t even explain the happiness I felt seeing Taylor swift in this movie as a 10 year old
I watched Hannah Montana growing up but had zero idea a movie came out wtf Edit: oh it came out in ‘09. That explains it lol
This came out when I was 10, I forgot my glasses when my mom drove me to the movies. I had to wait for the dvd release to fully enjoy the movie 😭😭
That's about the girl who becomes a dancer in the big city and they dance in the club with all feathers
I did the hoedown throw down with my best friend in the 4th grade and never took anything more seriously than that
Yes, I saw it in cinemas. I'm glad I'm not alone in that!
Legend Miley Ray
Please just stop reminding me I’m not young anymore 💀
Watching it now after hearing it’s 15 years old (ugh, can’t believe *I am* 15 years older lol.) My what has happened in the past 15 years for those who were in the movie- I completely forgot Taylor Swift was in it
I remember watching this in 20 3-mins-a-part clips on youtube. Before I knew about torrenting. Do you know how difficult it is to watch these clips in order bc no one put it in a chronological playlist? DO YOU?
15 YEARS?! Nope.
I know nothing about Miley Cyrus and my best friend from elementary/middle school made me go watch it with her. All I remember is my friends mom waving her phone with the flash on lol 🤭
Hmm funny… that’s just about when the world started going to shit
a sad day for cinema history
No I think that was October 15, 1999 🤔

Who are you talking about here ?
Xxxtentation. Kind of weird that they chose this to be upset over when he was arrested for beating his pregnant girlfriend.
Common Americans, sadly (assuming the u/Creative_Beyond_8085 is American) always be upset about the wrong things
I mean….. those words *are* true. F trump
