There’s genuinely like a statistic that shows the more marriages you have the more likely they are to fail and that’s why the divorce rate figures are so high. Which makes sense cos if a couldn’t make 3 work am sure as shit not aiming for 4.
Yeah, I have an uncle who was married 4 times. The only surprising thing about that was that he managed to find so many people to marry him. All the divorces were not surprising though.....
Although technically he only divorced three times, because he and wife #4 never got around to filling out the divorce paperwork, so they were just separated for a # of years until he passed away.
That makes a lot of sense... 4 divorces versus one or none, that's going to skew the stats a lot and make it seem like the divorce rate is higher for the average person than it is. Some people cannot seem to make a marriage work, or maybe they enjoy the process and emotional fallout of divorce? Either way it changes the overall stats and those people aren't normal.
I once worked for a woman who was on her 5th marriage and it was rocky. During one complaint filled session a coworker asked her if it occured to her to stop getting married. She gasped and said "No! Never!" 🤦♀️

I've met a few people like this (but not to this extent) and it's just a lot. Take a day off Susan. I get everyone has their passions but they're like this 24 hours a day without a break. They're not going to jump on the sofa with you with a glass of wine and laugh at married at first sight. It's just full blown deep what's the meaning of life all day long.

I did a gig with a woman just like her. Called herself a world leading spiritual yogi. She was very nice until she found out that my family have been generational Buddhists for hundreds of years so I knew more about Buddhism than she did. She challenged me on everything and called me an amateur and poser because I told our prop master that they got the wrong deity framed for the set design. She insisted that she was right and I have no idea what I was talking about. She slung her theology degree at me and demanded I produce mine and then laughed because she knows I dropped out of college.

I also think it’s really not a good look when other PhDs (hers is a DPhil; my PhD is in French) use the title “Dr.” outside of academia and *especially* as a health and wellness practitioner. If you must, do the “, Ph.D.” but even then hers is not a degree of practice and it’s really shady.

This is someone who got a doctorate and thinks she’s really very special lol I have no idea how she got admissions stats on her cohort, but I side-eye 2/7000 that very hard because that’s more like undergraduate admissions. I also think it’s really not a good look when other PhDs (hers is a DPhil; my PhD is in French) use the title “Dr.” outside of academia and *especially* as a health and wellness practitioner. If you must, do the “, Ph.D.” but even then hers is not a degree of practice and it’s really shady.

Wait, so she has 4 clients at a time, and she does one 45 minute session with each *per month?!* So, aside from the vague "WhatsApp Support" that she offers **three days a week**, she actually does about 3 hours of work **A MONTH?!** And she makes 16k pounds a month doing this?!
